Day 1 : Arrive from Bagdogra to Phuntsholing.
During this Journey Via Bagdogra You Will Cross Through the Tea Plantation On Both the Site of the Road. On Arrival to Border Town Reprenstative Will Help You with Permit Formalities At the Indian Frontier Check Point. Then Lead to the Gate of Phuntsholing Town and Help with Visa Formalities. Then Check in Hotel.
Day 2 : Phuntsholing -Thimphu
After Breakfast Start the Journey to Thimphu Following the Winding Road to Thimphu. En-route Visit Kamji Temple, Lunch Will Be Served At Dam View Restaurant. Following Upstream Till Confluence Then Along the Wang-chu Up Valley to the Capital. if Time Permit After Check in Hotel Do Some Sightseeing of Thimphu. Later in the Evening Stroll in Town. Overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 3 : Thimphu – Punakha
After Breakfast Leave for Punakha. the Road Winds Through the Forest to Dochula Pass, Alt. 3,080 M. from Here On Clear Days One Can See Around 200 Miles of the Spectacular View of Himalayan Range. After About One and Half Hour from Here You Reach Punaka On Arrival to Punakha At Lobesa Lunch Will Be Served. After Lunch Visit Chimi Lhakhang the Temple of Divine Madman, Which Was Founded By Lama Drukpa Kuenley in 15th Century. He is the Favorite Yogi Who Has Subdued the Demons with His “magical Thunder Bolt”. the Temple is also Known as “the Temple of Fertility” the Unfertile Women Take the Blessing from that Temple So that They May Bear Children. After Lunch You Drive the Short Distance to Punakha, for a Tour Around the Famous Punakha Dzong, Which is Built On the Confluence of the Mo Chhu (mother) and Pho Chhu (father) Rivers. the Punakha Dzong Was the Second Built in Bhutan and Was Previously the Seat of Government. Legend Has It that the Building of the Dzong Was Foretold By Guru Rinpoche, Who Predicted that a Person Named Namgyal Will Arrive At a Hill that Looks like An Elephant and Build. True to the Prediction Ngawang Namgyal (the Shabdrung) Arrived in the 16th Century and Built the Dzong At the Tip of the Elephant Trunk, Which is Right On the Confluence of the Two Rivers. the Punakha Dzong Was the Scene of Some fine Victories the Bhutanese Had Ever the Invading Tibetan Forces. Overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 4 : Punakha – Paro
After Breakfast Drive Back to Paro Over Dochu-la, Refreshment Tea Will Be Served At Dochu-la Over Looking a Spectacular View of Eastern Himalayas On the Clear Day. Usually in November is a Good Time for the View. After Tea Visit Druk Wangyal Temple At Dochu-la. Continue Your Drive to Paro and Lunch Will Be Served At Thimphu in Any Restaurant of Your Choice. After Lunch Drive Little Over One Hour 20 Minutes You Will Reach Paro. Check in Hotel Rima Resort. Start Your Sightseeing of Visiting Kychu Lhakhang One of the Oldest Temple in Bhutan Which Dates Back to 7th Century Built By the First King of Tibet Tsongtsen Gampo( 636 Ad ) Later in the Evening Stroll in Town and Shopping.overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 5 : Paro – Excursion to Taktsang.
There is a Full Day to Explore the Town, Valley, and Trek to the Most Famous Monument in Bhutan, the Taktsang (tiger’s Nest) Monastery. Paro Valley is Wide and Fertile and One of the Most Beautiful in all Bhutan, Producing Rice, Millet, Wheat and Potatoes as the Main Crop. in the Morning You Drive Along this Valley, Next to the Paro Chhu (river) to the Start of a Trekking Trail Which Leads to the Tiger’s Nest Monastery. the Trek is Steady Up-hill and Will Take About 2 - 3 Hours to Reach the Monastery. There is a Teahouse Half Way Up Which Offers Refreshments And, On the Way Down, a Well-earned Lunch. the Monastery is Perched At 3,140m, Looking, for all Intents and Purposes, like It is Growing Out from the Granite. It is Believed that Guru Rinpoche, in 7th Century Ad, Flew On the Back of a Tiger to the Monastery’s Current Location, Hence the Name ‘tiger’s Nest’. Rinpoche Subdued the Evil Spirits in the Region Then Meditated in a Cave for 3 Months. as Did Milarepa and Shabdrung Ngawang. It Has Been Recognised as a Holy Area for Many Centuries. the Trek to Tiger’s Nest is a Real Highlight; However There are Many other Places to Visit in Paro Including the Paro Dzong and the Ta Dzong (national Museum). Overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 6 : Paro – Phuntsholing Departure.
After breakfast drive from Paro to Phuntsholing. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 7 : Phuntsholing to Gangtok Departure.
Drive to Gangtok from Phuntsholing. Drive to Gangtok passes through a lush green vegetation adjacent to it river Teesta flows in a vibrant current & overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 8 : After Breakfast, Drive from Gangtok to Lachung.
Drive Further to Lachung (alt 8075ft / 2425m) Via Chungthang. En Route Visit Chungthang Confluence and Vimnala Water Falls. Check in At Hotel. Free Evening. Overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 9 : Lachung to Yumthang Valley
Early Morning Drive to Yumthang Valley (alt 11925ft / 3575m). Enjoy the Scenic Landscape and Hot Spring and Drive Back to Lachung for Lunch. Lachung to Gangtok – Check Out from Lachung and Drive Back to Gangtok (alt 5550ft / 1675m) Via Chungthang. Check in At Hotel By Late Afternoon. Free Evening Overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 10 : Day Trip to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbajan Singh Mandir/Nathula Pass
Tsomgo Lake, Babamandir and Nathula are Situated in High Altitude Areas. Tsomgo or Changu Commonly Called As, is At 12,400 Feet, Baba Mandir Appox. At 13,000 Ft. and Nathula is At 14,600 Feet. Tsomgo Lake is An Alpine Lake with Lots of Rainbow Trout, It is Considered as Sacred By the Local People of Sikkim & Back to Gangtok. Overnight Stay At Hotel.
Day 11 : After Breakfast, Drive to Bagdogra Airport for Futhure Destination
