• Day 1 : WELCOME TO NJP RLY STATION |IXB AIRPORT –PHUENTSHOLING

  ■ Upon your arrival at NJP Railway Station or IXB Airport, out guest relation executive will meet with you and then transfer towards Phuentsholing (approx: 142kms or 4hrs).
  ■ Phuentsholing is the 2nd largest town in Bhutan, situated on the Indian border next to Jaigaon town in India.
  ■ It’s entry way to the country for travelers arriving from Indian and the town is primarily a commercial establishment where Bhutanese and Indian’s do business.
  ■ On arrival check into your Phuentsholing Hotel and relax.
  ■ Evening free for leisure.
  ■ Overnight stay at Phuentsholing.

• Day 2 : PHUENTSHOLING –THIMPU

  ■ Proceed towards Thimpu via the wonderful mystic town Gedu, which is about 9000feet above the sea level and Chukha Dam. On the way, halt at Chojum to take photographs of the confluence of two rivers of Bhutan, Thimpu chu and Paro Chu.
  ■ Reach Thimpu in the evening. On arrival check into your hotel and relax.
  ■ In the evening if time permit then visit the Taschichho Dzong (Fortress of the Glorious Religion).
  ■ Overnight stay at Thimpu.

  ■ En-route visit Dochula Pass. In Punakha sightseeing covering Punakha Dzong –built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang –the temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine MadMan”, visit Punakha Suspension Bridge.
  ■ Evening back to Thimpu Hotel and relax.
  ■ Overnight stay at Thimpu.
