From the entwined mountains peeps the dazzling sunshine, which defines the aura of Northeastern India. Day 1 : Arrive Phuentsholing
Pick up from Hasimara Rly. station drive to Phuentsholing, for immigration formalities. & after taking permit drive to Thimphu city Overnight stay at the hotel. (200 km) 05 hrs journey.
Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing.
Thimphu the capital of Bhutan, where most of the modern facilities has still not reached, some say that Thimphu is the only capital in the world without the computerized traffic lighting system. Morning visit memorial Chorten built in the memory of Late His Majesty the King by Royal Queen Mother; visit ChangangkhaLhakhang, Motithang mini Zoo to see the National animal the Takin. Drive down to viewpoint from where you have magnificent view of Thimphu valley; visit National Library to see the large collection of traditional books, Folk Heritage museum where you can see the typical Bhutanese house and their lifestyle. Afternoon if time permits you may visit Tashichodzong, the parliament house of the country, handmade paper factory and some of the local Handicraft centre. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3 : Thimphu- Punakha
Morning transfer to Punakha, visitDochula pass,Dzong. After lunch drive to Punakha, visit dzong which is the summer residence of Central Monastic body; stroll in & around Punakha, & Night stay at the hotel .
Day 4 : Thimphu – Paro.
Morning after breakfast transfer to Paro, check in the hotel and after lunch sightseeing.
Visit Ta Dzong, the National Museum housed in an ancient watchtower, which has a fine collection of ancient Thangka painting, textiles, weapons and artifacts. Walk to the traditional wooden bridge. Night stay at Paro.
Day 5 : Paro- Chellea.
Morning drive back to chellea pass & night satay at hotel.
Day 6 : Paro to Phuentsholing
Morning drive to phuntsholing for your onward itinerary.
Day 7 : Phuentsholing to Gangtok
After breakfast drive to Gangtok over night stay at Hotel.
Day 8 : Gangtok to North Sikkim Lachen
Pick from Gangtok Hotel and transfer to Lachen (9500 Ft / 2896 Mts / 130 Kms / 06 to 07 Hrs). On the way visit Tashi view point, KabiLongtsok, Seven sister’s water fall Singhik view point, Lunch on route and Overnight at Hotel. (Breakfast at Gangtok, En-route Lunch & Dinner at Lachung
Day 9 : Lachen - Lachung
Today excursion to Chopta valley &Gorudongmar (17800 Ft / 5427 Mts) then transfer to Lachung(8000 Ft / 2439 Mts ,60 kms / 03 to 04 Hrs). Overnight at Hotel.(Breakfast & Lunch at Lachen, Dinner at Lachung Hotel)
Day 10 : Lachung - Yumthang – Gangtok
Early morning proceed on a half day excursion to Yumthang Valley (11800 Ft / 3598 Mts / 25 Kms / 1 ½ hours one way). On the way visit the Hot Spring and Singba Rhododendron Sanctuary. Back to Gangtok overnight stay at hotel. (Breakfast, Lunch at Lachung Hotel)
Day 11.Leave Gangtok - Njp Railway Station / (Ixb) Bagdogra Airport
Transfer to NJP Railway Station / (IXB) Bagdogra Airport.
