Day 1 : Chennai/bangalore – Kolkata
Assemble at Hotel Viceroy Lobby near to kolkata airport by 6 pm Dinner and Stay.
Day 2 : Kolkata – Paro – Thimphu
Transfer to Airport by morning 7am for flight to Bhutan takes you the great Himalayas, offering you the most scintillating scenery of the world’s highest glacial peaks. As you enter Paro valley, you will see the silvery Pa-chu (Paro river), the Paro Dzong (fortress) and the Ta Dzong. Arrive at Paro airport and drive to Thimphu. Check-in at hotel for 2 Nights stay.
Day 3 : Thimphu
Full day Thimphu Tour includes Memorable Chorten. Visit Dordenma Buddha (169 Ft) Largest Buddha of the World, The Textile Museum & Folk Heritage Museum that provides a fascinating insight into the Bhutanese material culture and way of life. The Takin Sanctuary will give chance to glance at the National animal of Bhutan, Takin. Also visit Buddha Point to have a wonderful view of Thimphu Valley. Evening proceed for Tashichho Dzong; the main secretarial building which houses the throne room of His Majesty the King of Bhutan.
Day 4 : Thimphu – Punakha
Check-out and depart for Punakha. The view over the Himalayan panoply at Dorchula Pass at 10,500 feet is one of the most spectacular sights in all Bhutan. Added is the 108 chortens (small stupas) making it a visual delight. Check-in at the Hotel for 1 night stay. Evening visit Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of the Devine Mad Man, Drukpa Kuenley.
Day 5 : Punakha – Paro
Check-out and transfer to Paro. Visit the most beautiful Punakha Dzongin Bhutan built in 1637 by Shabdrung. It is an old capital, which still serves as the winter residence of the monk body. It is now the winter residence of the Central Monastic Community and administrative headquarters of Punakha district. En-route visit Iron Chain Bridge. Drive to Paro via Thimbu. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel for 2 Nights stay. Evening visit the traditional Bhutanese house where we will be able to experience the Bhutanese hospitality in hand.
Day 6 : Paro
Drive to Drugyel Dzong where you will have a majestic view of the Jhomolhari Mountain on a clear day. Photo stop at accosting View point. Visit the Kitchu Lhakhang. Visit the National Museum which houses and impressive collection of fine arts, paintings, bronzes, textiles, jewellery and handicrafts sections as well as galleries of stamps for which the Country is very popular. Also visit the Rinpung Dzong, the Fortress of the Heap of Jewels, built in 1645 by Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyel. It is an imposing square fortress, representative of typical Dzong architecture, with a central tower and courtyards housing the administrative (Dzongkhag) and has a community of about 200 monks. Visit to the Foothills ofTaktsang Monastery the tiger’s nest to have a grand look. Rest of the day free for shopping.
Day 7 : Paro – Kolkata – Chennai
Check-out and Transfer to Airport to board a flight to Kolkata. Upon arrival at Kolkata Airport. Transfer to Kolkata Airport to board flight to Chennai./Bangalore
