Day 1 : Hasimara to Puentsholing
Upon your arrival at Bagdogra Airport, meet our representative • Proceed towards Phuentsholing (4 hours) • Explore the local market of Bhutan and have a delicious dinner at hotel • Overnight stay in Phuentsholing
Day 2 : Puentsholing to Thimphu
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, complete the immigration formalities and then checkout • Proceed towards Thimphu • We will stop our journey on the way to see and feel the Bhutan Himalayan scenery • On the way, we will reach the highest point of about 2800m/9,185ft • Leisure time in the evening for shopping • Overnight stay in Thimphu
Day 3 : Thimphu to Punakha
After breakfast, proceed for local sightseeing • Witness the Buddha Dordenma Statue, a place for refreshing with a huge statue of Buddha on the top of the Kuensel Phodrang • Then, head towards the National Memorial Chorten Stupas: The chorten or stupa was built in the memory of the third king • Next, visit Takin Zoo: the national animal of Bhutan can be seen here • Move on to explore Changangkha Lhakhang: This structure dates back to the 15th century and is one of the oldest in the region • After that, visit Simply Bhutan Museum: Projects is a living museum and a photo studio • You get to experience the traditions and household rituals of Bhutan in this museum • Overnight stay in Punakha
Day 4 : Punakha to Paro
After breakfast, drive from Punakha • On the way, stop at Dochula-Pass (3150 mt) a beautiful mountain pass • Visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal • Then, head to see the Punakha Suspension Bridge - one of the longest and oldest suspension bridges of the scenically blessed kingdom • Proceed towards Paro and overnight stay in Paro
Day 5 : Paro (Taksang)
Hiking to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, which clings to a cliff 3,000 feet above the valley floor • Legend has it that Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) flew to this location on the back of a tiger in the 8th century • Guru Rinpoche introduced Buddhism to their country, and the Taktsang Monastery is one of the principal pilgrimage destinations in Bhutan • Spend time with the monks as they pray • Overnight stay in P/ling.
Day 6 : Departure
Paro to Hasimara, via road sightseeing. • Tour concludes with happy memories
