Day 1 : Arrive Paro – Thimphu Ride (65 KM/1hr)
The flight to Bhutan takes you over the great Himalayas, offering the most scintillating scenery of the world’s highest glacial peaks. The green walls of the hills known as gateways into Bhutan from the plains of India rise ever higher as the plane flies north towards the Tibetan border. Silvery rivers rush along the valleys; waterfalls plunge down the forested mountainsides, and to the north, the great snowcapped peaks of the inner Himalayas rise up to the heavens. Farmhouses dot the hillsides on either side of the plane. As the aircraft enters the Paro valley, look down and you will see the Paro Dzong(fortress) on the hillside overlooking Paro Chu (river) with Ta Dzong, formerly a watchtower and now the National Museum, above it.
Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, our guide and driver will meet you. After a short introduction along with short briefing on Motorcycle and the road condition, pickup your Motorcycle and start hitting the Bhutan’s road. Before we head towards Thimphu, we will spend sometimes at Paro valley, visiting Ta Dzong (watch tower), Rinpung Dzong (fortress) and Kichu Temple, which is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan Himalayas.
Optional: You may also make a hike to world famous temple, the” Tiger’s Nest”, which is about 3 hour hike uphill and 1 hour downhill depeding upon your walking stamina.
Later, completing sightseeing, we will then ride for Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. Usually, it takes about 1 hour to reach capital Thimphu on fine paved road. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Thimphu Sightseeing (Halt)
After breakfast, we will spend our whole day at Thimphu, visiting Memorial Stupas(built in memory of 3rd King), Giant Buddha Dordena(Buddha Statue), Takin Zoo(Natioanal Animal is preserved), National Library(World Largest Book is preserved), Painting School(student undergo 6 years training on Bhutanese Arts & Crafts), Jungshi handmade paper factory(Paper made out of Daphne plant) and Weekend Market(Where organic vegetable sold here) Evening, visit to Trashichho Dzong(fortress) (Office of the His Majesty the King of Bhutan and Chief Abbot) If time permits, stroll around Thimphu town. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Thimphu - Punakha Ride (77 KM/2hr)
After packing the luggage, set for a Punakha valley from Thimphu, up onto the western slopes of Dochu La Pass (108 stupas) the first of a series of high altitude road passes through. Stop for a breath taking Panoramic of great Himalayan range, weather permits. Later descen down unless we reach Lobesa village. Visit to Chimi Lhakhang temple (Dedicated to Divine Madman) and followed by a visit to Punakha Dzong (fortress) majestically overlooking Po Chu and Mo Chu(river) Evening at leisure or stroll around. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 : Punakha - Gelephu Ride (195 KM/ 5hr)
Today we will start early for a Gelephu, nearest Indian bordering town of Southern Bhutan. Enroute to Tsirang district. We will stop for a packed picnic lunch somewhere at good spot. After lunch we continue our journey until we cross Tsirang district. After crossing Tsirang district, we descend down until we reach stretch of Sarpang checkpoint. We will produce our documents and exit for Gelephu. Evening stroll around. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 : Gelephu - Tingtibi - Panbang (167 KM/5-6hr)
After breakfast, we head for Panbang, one of the remote villages in central Bhutan with fewer developments. Before we climb up, we will clear our documents at checkpoint. The road climbs uphill and downhill with so many adventure curves. Today we will be going to have lots of challenging adventure on road and some places the roads are very much challenging enough and your riding skill is required here to compete with your two wheeler. Enroute to Tingtibi village where you will see least settlement. Tingtibi and Panbang is best hot spot for Golden Mahseer Angling (Tor Putitora) and bird watching. Later we will visit to Royal Manas National Park. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 : Panbang - Tingtibi - Trongsa (180 Km /6 ½ hr)
Again, today we will hit the same route until we reach Tingtibi village. From Tingtibi, we will follow another road leading towards Trongsa. Most of the places, the road conditions are very challenging enough with unpaved road. Be prepared to accept the challenge of riding skills. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 : Trongsa - Bumthang(68 KM/1 ½ hr)
Before we head towards Bumthang valley, we will spend our time visiting to Trongsa Dzong (fortress) and Ta Dzong (Watch tower) overlooking Trongsa valley. Later, depart for Bumthang, the heart of Buddhist land. Visit to Jambay Lhakhang monastery, Kurje Lhakhang monastery and Jakar Dzong(fortress) Bumthang is popular for woolen cloths and other woolen products. Evening stroll around Jakar town. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 : Bumthang - Mongar (192 KM / 5-6hr)
Once we finish our breakfast at hotel, we will ride for a Mongar via Ura valley, crossing Thrumshing La Pass (3,750M) on bending road. Visit to Mongar Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 : Mongar - Trashigang(91 KM/2 ½ hr)
After breakfast, gear up for Trashigang, the Easternmost district lies in the east side of the valley above Drangmechhu(river) just south of where it is joined by the Gamri River and one of the eastern terminus of the lateral road. Enroute to Drametsi and Korila Pass along the Yadi loops. Evening visit to Trashigang Dzong(fortress) and stroll around Trashigang town. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Trahigang - Samdrup Jongkhar(180 KM/5-6hr)
Today we will leave for Samdrup Jongkhar, the southeastern part of Bhutan sharing border with Indian State of Assam. Enroute to Khaling, Norphung and Dewathang along the East highway. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Samdrup Jongkhar - Nameri National Park Ride (280 KM/6-7 hr)
Right after breakfast, we will hit the Indian road to Nameri National Park on the foothills of the Himalayas and bordering Arunachal Pradesh through Assam National Highway on fine paved road. If time permits, take an opportunity to enjoy a nature walk towards late afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12 : Nameri National Park - Kaziranga National Park (120 KM/3-4 hr)
Early morning, before breakfast, enjoy pleasant walk inside the park area. Later, after breakfast, gear up for a river rafting (if available) down the sparkling river called JiaBhoroli, which forms a boundary to the park. Afternoon drive to Kaziranga National Park for overnight stay. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel/lodge/camp.
Day 13 : At Kaziranga National Park (Halt)
Wake up early in the morning and get ready to explore the forest on elephant back. Our representative will take you to the Elephant riding point by jeeps. Here you will be moving through the tall grass while the morning mists slowly lift is an experience that one won't forget easily. The Elephant ride is best means for wildlife viewing as the wild animals are not afraid of the elephants and it is possible to observe them from the very close. Later, return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast you will go on a first Jeep safari to the national park for wildlife viewing in the central zone. Later return to the resort for taking some rest and spent the time till lunch. After lunch you will go on a second jeep safari of the day, this time you will visit the Western zone of the national park. One can also spent some time at the Donga viewpoint, situated in western zone. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel/resort/home stay
Day 14 : Kaziranga - Guwahati / Departure (250 KM/5-6hr)
After morning breakfast we will ride back to Guwahati airport for onward flight to Delhi. Your beautiful Bhutan and India Tour ends here!
