Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu

    Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, meet our expedition team leader and then transfer you to hotel. Later in the evening you will be given briefing by our team leader / road captain. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 2 : Kathmandu – Bhaktapur – Bardibas (198KM /5hrs)

    Early morning, wake up early and start the bike’s engine and ride to Bardibas, south-eastern Nepal. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 3 : : Bardibas – Mechinagar (Kakarbhitta / Indo Nepal Border) (274KM/5hrs)

    Morning we will ride all the way to Mechinagar(Kakarviatta) the nearest border with India and other side of the Nepal is called Panitanki. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 4 : Kakarbhitta / Mechinagar (Panitanki) – Phuntsholing, Bhutan (200KM/5-6hrs)

    Today we will ride to Phuntsholing, Bhutan through hustle and bustle city of Siliguri. After one hour from Panitanki(India Nepal border) we will reach Siliguri. Before, we check into Bhutan border, clear immigration formalities at indo Bhutan border. Later we then enter into Bhutan, the land of Thunder Dragon. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 5 : Phuntsholing – Paro (175Km/5hrs)

    Moring after breakfast, we will make our biking permit / route permit from Road Safety Department of Bhutan. You must have all biking papers up to date. After that, we will start our Motorcycle Expedition towards Paro valley via Gedu,Chukha & Chimakoti. The roads climb uphill till we reach Gedu. After,crossing Gedu town, we then descent down till we reach Chukha bridge. Once we cross the bridge, we will again climb uphill till we reach Chimakoti town and Tanalum check point. We will show our biking permits here at check point and also we will clear Bhutan Visa here. After we cross, Tanalum check point, we will gradually climb uphill till we reach highest Motorable road point in Chapcha and then descent down touching the stretch of Damchu. The roads in Bhutan are not very curve enough. Once we reach to Chuzomsa(Confluence of Thimphu & Paro river) we will take a left turn for Paro town. Visit to Ta Dzong(museum) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 6 : Paro – Thimphu (Tiger’s Nest) (65KM/1hr)

    Before, we ride to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan, we will enjoy a beautiful hike to Taktshang(Tiger’s Nest) which clings on a hilltop at 3120M, overlooking Paro valley. It will take about 3 hours hike uphill and 1hr downhill. Later we will ride to Thimphu. Evening visit to Tashichho Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 7 : Thimphu – Punakha (77KM/3hr)

    Morning do riding within Thimphu valley including visit to Giant Buddha, Memorial Stupa and Painting school. After lunch ride for Punakha valley via Dochu La Pass (3100M) overlooking Punakha valley. Stop for a picturesque view of Himalayan range from Dochu La Pass. Later descent down to Punakha valley, crossing Lobesa valley. Visit to Punakha Dzong(fortress) Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 8 : Punakha – Bumthang (212KM/8hrs)

    After breakfast, we will start early for Bumthang. Enroute to Trongsa Dzong(fortress) After sightseeing, continue our ride till we reach Bumthang and it takes about 2 hours journey from Trongsa – Bumthang. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 9 : Bumthang – Mongar (198KM/6-7hrs)

    The journey to Mongar takes about 6-7 hours with spectacular views through beautiful Ura village before climbing sharply to the highest point on Bhutan’s road network, Thrumsing-La Pass (4,000m) From here, the road gradually passes through picturesque alpine valleys, pine forests, maize fields and hamlets to reach Mongar town. Visit Mongar Dzong, built in the 1930’s using the traditional process without either plans or the use of nails. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 10 : Mongar – Trashigang (91KM/3-4hrs)

    We will drive to Trashigang (3 hrs) through leafy forests filled with ferns and over Kori-La Pass (2,450m) before descending through cornfields and banana groves to reach the famous road zigzag just below Yadi. Trashigang is the main township of the largest district in the country. After lunch visit Trashigang Dzong. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 11 : Trashigang – Trashiyangtse(Day Excursion)(55KM/2hrs)

    This morning, we will a day trip to Trashiyangtse. En-route to Gomkora. Visit Chorten Kora Stupa and Trashiyangtse Dzong(fortress) Later, ride back for overnight stay. Dinner and overnigh stay at hotel.

  • Day 12 : Trashigang – Samdrup Jongkhar (180KM/7hrs)

    After breakfast, we will ride to Samdrup Jongkhar, the nearest border town in India. En-route to Khaling handloom. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 13 : Samdrup Jongkhar – Guwahati (114KM/3hrs)

    After early breakfast, we will ride to Guwahati, the Indian state of Assam in North East India. Later, enjoy one hour Brahmaputra river cruise. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 14 : Guwahati – Nameri (200Km / 3-4 hrs)

    Today we will proceed for Nameri National Park crossing Koliabhumura Bridge over the mighty Brahmaputra River, one of the wildest rivers in India. The Koliabhumura Bridge also connects two states of middle Assam, Nagaon and Shontipur. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 15 : Nameri – Dirang (165 Km / 5-6 hrs)

    Before we ride towards Dirang, early in the morning after early breakfast enjoy a pleasant morning walk along the sandy bank of River Jia Bharali with the beauty of Himalayan mountain range. Later depart for Dirang, a small hill station surrounded by a snow capped mountains in west Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh and ancient civilization of Monpas tribe. Enroute to Bhalukpong. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 16 : Dirang – Tawang (140KM / 5-6 hr)

    Before we depart for Tawang, visit to Yak breeding farm, Sangti valley and Apple orchard. Enroute drive pass Sela Pass (13,700ft) which is one of the second highest motorable road in India and enjoy the glimpses of Paradise Lake which makes your visit worth and year round the lake is been covered with thick blanket of snow. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 17 : Tawang

    Today after breakfast, we will spend our time exploring Tawang. Visit to Tawang Monastery (also known as Golden Namgyal Lhatse) which was founded by Merak Lama Lodre Gyamtso in 1860 – 81 and it is over 350 - 400 year old and one of largest monastery in India and second largest in Asia, visit to PT Tso Lake(Pangang Teng Tso Lake) one of the most popular lakes in Arunachal Pradesh located at distacnce of 18Km away from Tawang and during winter time the lake remains completely frozen.
    Later we ride to visit Bum La pass (16,500ft) which is located 37Km away from Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh at the Indo – China border. The pass is often remains covered with thick snow throughout the year and also it is believed to be that, where Dalai Lama entered India from here while escaping from Tibet. Evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 18 : Tawang – Bomdila (190Km / 6-7 hrs)

    After breakfast we ride back to Bombila, again crossing Sele Pass. While in Bomdila, visit to Bomdila Monastery which was established in 1965 and it is situated close to Tipi Orchid Research Centre in West Kemeng district and explore around local market. Dinner and overnight stay.

  • Day 19 : Bomdila – Guwahati (335Km / 8-9 hrs)

    Once we complete breakfast at hotel, ride to Guwahati which will be tiring ride. Check into hotel. Towards in the late afternoon, enjoy Brahmaputra River Cruise. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 20 : Guwahati – Jaigaon(358Km / 6-7 hrs)

    After early morning breakfast, depart for Jaigoan, the nearest border town with Phuntsholing, Bhutan along the NH31 national highway on fine paved road. Jaigoan is a main business hub for many Bhutanese peoples. Dinner and overnight stay at hote

  • Day 21 : Jaigaon – Kakarbhitta(196Km / 5-6 hrs)

    After early breakfast, ride to Kakarbhitta via Siliguri crossing coronation bridge. Kakarbhitta is a Nepal border located in easternmost crossing border between Nepal & West Bengal, India. You may clear your visa formalities here to enter Nepal. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 22 : Kakarvitta – Dharan(109Km / 2 hrs)

    Morning leave for Dharan. Upon reaching in Dharan, take a 15-20 minutes ride to visit the famous Charles Tower in Bhedetar. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 23 : Dharan – Kathmandu (386Km / 7-8 hr)

    Very early morning we will ride to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal and ride is going to more adventure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 24 : Kathmandu

    Today we have whole day to spend within Kathmandu valley with visit to Pasupati Nath Temple, Boudhanath Temple, Syambhu Nath Tempel and evening stroll around Thamel area. Your beautiful road expedition ends here and enjoy our last night Farewell dinner in Kathmandu in typical Nepali style. Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 25 : Departure / Exit

    Our team will transfer you to the airport for your onward destinations. Looking forward ride with you again in future in different destination.
