Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Jordan

  Meet and Assist at Queen Alia International Airport, Amman and transfer to Hotel in Amman
• Day 2 : Pella - Umm Qais - Anjara

  After breakfast, meet with your driver for a day trip to Pella and Umm Qais, once important cultural centres of the Roman world. It is believed that Jesus visited these cities and performed some of His miracles. On the return journey stop at the shrine of Our Lady on the Mountain at Anjara. Believed to be the place where Jesus and his mother Mary stopped to rest on their journey from Jerusalem to Galilee. Back to your hotel in Amman
• Day 3 : King’s Highway (Madaba - Mount Nebo - Mukawir - Umm Al - Rasas)

  Take the scenic route south along the King’s Highway. Along the way make stops at the city of Madaba to visit the 6th century mosaic map of the Holy Land in Saint George Greek Orthodox church and Mount Nebo – the place where Moses first looked on the Holy Land. Continue south to the ruins of King Herods Palace at Mukawir and then see the magnificent mosaics and ruins of Umm Al Rasas. Finish the day arriving at your hotel in Petra.
• Day 4 : Petra

  Enjoy a guided tour of the ancient city of Petra. The city was once the heart of the Nabatean world, and later the Romans – who left their influences with a Amphitheatre and colonnade streets. Petra is thought to have been the last stopping place for the 3 King’s on their way to visit the new born Jesus in Bethlehem. In the early evening drive south to your hotel in Aqaba.
• Day 5 : Aqaba

  In the morning take a city tour of Aqaba. Visit the ruins of a 4th Century church as well as the modern day churches for Roman catholic and Greek orthodox Christians. Also to see is the many Mosques in the city – a beautiful place to discover the people of 2 faiths living in harmony. In the afternoon, take some time to relax by the Red Sea with a snorkel or dive on the coral reefs. Stay over night in Aqaba.
• Day 6 : Lot’s Cave - Bethany - Dead Sea

  After breakfast take the Dead Sea road back to the north. Close to the Dead Sea you will stop at a panoramic view point for a chance of some amazing photos, if you turn to look at the top of the cliff behind you, you will see the pillar of salt believed to be Lot’s wife. Continue along the road to visit Lot’s cave and then Bethany-Beyond -the- Jordan – the site on the River Jordan where John Baptised Jesus. After an afternoon of relaxing by the Dead Sea continue to your hotel in Amman.
• Day 7 : City Tour Amman

  Spend the day exploring Amman - Jordan’s vibrant capital city. Visit the citadel, the churches and mosques. Overnight Amman.
• Day 8 : Departure from Jordan

  Transfer from your hotel to Queen Alia International Airport for departure.
