Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Saigon

  Xin Chào! Welcome to Vietnam. Our Vietnam adventure tour guide picks you up at Tan Son Nhat airport in Saigon. Then we will take 30 minutes transfer to our hotel in the center. During the transfer, the tour guide will brief about the program as well as the biking road, traffic conditions of Vietnam. Check in your room then enjoy welcome dinner in a fine restaurant with Vietnamese cuisine in this first evening. Overnight in Saigon
• Day 2 : Sai Gon - Cu Chi Tunnel 25km/15miles

  Wake up on the first morning in Vietnam in the most bustling city then enjoy the breakfast in the hotel. We start up our tour with an orientation city tour to know about this city and get along to the traffic in Vietnam. Then we drive 1 hour to the famous Cu Chi underground tunnel system to experience how the Viet Cong lived and fought during the Vietnam War. Take startup biking for about 25km to explore the rubber plantation and backroad. Then we get down to the tunnel to reveal the complexity of the whole system for about 2.5 hours next. Admire the incredible survival ability of human beings under violent armed attacks. We are back to Saigon in afternoon. If time permits, we will have a short visit to the most highlights of the city. Overnight in Saigon.
• Day 3 : Sai Gon – Cai Lay - Cai Be 40km/25miles Biking

  Today we really kick-start our biking activity. In order to avoid heavy traffic in the city center, we will leave the hotel for Cai Lay at 8:30 am. We then start paddling on the countryside road around the beautiful villages. We will break for lunch at a local restaurant.
  Following lunch, we enjoy a leisurely, two-hour afternoon bicycle ride along a narrow dirt road during which we traverse bridges and pass through local farms. Arriving in Cai Be, we board a boat to the floating market and then cruise over 1.5km-wide Mekong River. You can expect spectacular sunsets along the Mekong biking route. We have dinner at and stay overnight in Mekong Rustic Caibe.
• Day 4 : Cai Be – Vinh Long - Cycling to Can Tho 60km/37miles Biking

  After breakfast, we say goodbye to the family and cross the Mekong River. Under the cool shelter of the green canopy, we take the boat crossing for Vinh Long. We then have an extended ride from Vinh Long to Can Tho. This is a long day, going through immense rice fields and countryside villages.
  Lunch in a local restaurant, after lunch we continue cycling to our hotel in Can Tho. Overnight in Can Tho
• Day 5 : Floating Market - Cycle to Long Xuyen - Drive to Chau Doc 75km/47miles Biking

  Early get up for a great boat trip to one of the busiest floating market in Southeast Viet Nam - Cai Rang floating market. You need to wake up early this morning at around 5 am. Cai Rang is a wholesale market then it will finish at around 7 am so that retail traders who bought commodity can move back to retail markets. We will see a lively and colorful market on a large bend of the river. Boat trip back to town for breakfast in the hotel then check out.
  Turning up a quiet canal and mounting our bikes for a ride 2 hours on single trails along small canals and on a countryside road, enjoying the beautiful Delta scenery and meeting the locals. We have lunch on the way at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we continue and finish cycling in Long Xuyen. The private van will transfer you from Long Xuyen to Chau Doc.
  Relaxing and have your dinner.
• Day 6 : Chau Doc – Xeo Quyt Eco-tourism - Saigon 25km/15miles Biking

  After breakfast at the hotel, you are welcomed by Mekong cruise to visiting floating fish farm; you can watch fish while they are feeding, and see how about the local people life on Floating House. After visiting the fish farm we keep cruise on the Mekong to Cham village (Islam people in Vietnam) take the walk through their village and visiting the Mosque before getting on the boat back to Chau Doc pier.
  Our van will transfer you back to Saigon with a stop for lunch at Xeo Quyt Eco-Tourism. Afternoon you will enjoy the last cycling on Mekong Delta about 1.5 hours more. After the van will transfer you to Saigon in the late afternoon, you will free at leisure for the rest of the day after a long biking day in Mekong Delta.
• Day 7 : Saigon – Fly to Dalat

  We have a day off this day for a fly transfer to Dalat - that is called "the city of love". Breakfast in hotel and transfer to the airport for the flight to Dalat in 1 hour. Dalat is the small town in Central Highland with cool weather all year round. Upon arrival in Dalat, we take a bus ride to our hotel in Dalat.
  Check in hotel and enjoy a city tour to explore Dalat in the afternoon. The visit of today includes Center Flower garden, King Bao Dai Palace - the last King of Nguyen Dynasty and XQ embroidery factory to admire skillful workers here. Get the last hours of the day free to wander around the town, enjoy a cup of coffee - the most famous specialty in Highland is our suggestion. Overnight in Dalat.
• Day 8 : Dalat – Cycling to Di Linh 80km/50miles Biking

  Let's get a hot and delicious breakfast in the hotel before we jump on our bike. Gradually speed up to warm up our body, the cycle east through rose farms with stunning views of Langbian Mountain and drop through a jungle forested valley. We stop at Elephant Waterfall for a quick break before continuing the ride through a spectacular section of pine-forested hills, rice paddies and small fruit orchards and vegetable farms. Lunch in local restaurant. We reach Di Linh in the late afternoon. Overnight in a clean and comfortable guest house in Di Linh.
• Day 9 : Di Linh – Cycling Down to Mui Ne 80km/50miles Biking

  Today we ride through small villages of minority people and valleys to the Mui Ne beautiful beach. The first section of riding is through coffee plantations and forest 5 kilometers uphill. This is followed by plenty of downhill and rolling sections. A final long downhill pass is completed before the road flattens out with a long cruise to Highway 1, where the ride ends and our vehicle transports us the rest of the way to Mui Ne. Upon arrival in Mui Ne, we check in a resort in Mui Ne.
  (This is time to say goodbye to your fellow bikers and tour guide to get back to your own privacy.)
  Overnight in Mui Ne.
• Day 10 : Mui Ne Beach Stay - Day Off

  Mui Ne is a beautiful but very special beach in Vietnam. The weather is semi-safari then it creates a huge area with sand dunes. The sand dunes have several natural colors and they keep changing when it is windy. Today is just free time for you to enjoy rolling on those smooth sand dunes or swimming at the emerald water of Mui Ne Beach.
• Day 11 : Mui Ne – Saigon Departure

  After check out, our driver will pick you up and transfer to your Hotel in Saigon or transfer directly to the airport for your flight home or connect to other adventures in Cambodia, Laos or Myanmar with Active Travel Asia.
