Bhutan is a mountainous country with a fascinating history and an abundance of natural resources. Due to its remoteness within the Himalayas and the terrain of its steep territory, which has resulted in more than 60% of the land staying wooded, this region has been safeguarded throughout history. This little nation is surprisingly home to a wide variety of birds and animals due to the vast range of wild areas.
