Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Dharamshala-Gopalpur

  : Arrive at Gaggal Airport/Pathankot Railway Station. Transfer to Resort, Check-in to Nature Bloom Hotel & Resort (Gopalpur), a small place which is famous for Tea Estate Garden and Zoo. The Resort spread more than 6 acres surrounded with greenery nestled amidst the snowy Dhauladhar Range of the Himalayas allures everyone. Covered by the dense forests of Deodar, Kail, Horse chestnut, Walnut and Maple add to the beauty of the green Nature near Gopalpur. The Alpine Forests etched on the slopes of Himalayas makes it a dream destination for the tourists. We will later go for local sightseeing (04km) of Gopalpur where you can visit Dhauladhar Zoo Park and you can come across a rich variety of flora and fauna. One can get a glimpse of the Musk deer, Monal and Black bear in Gopalpur Zoo. The Park at Gopalpur generates awareness about wildlife amongst the tourist. One of the most beautiful Himalayan Nature Parks, the Gopalpur Nature Park educates the visitors and refreshes their senses amidst the green mountain valleys. Thereafter, visit Dorzong Buddhist Monastic Institute and Zia power Project. Drive back to resort approx. 30 minutes drive by car and enjoy bone fire with Dinner. Overnight stay in Resort.

• Day 2 : Palampur

  After breakfast check-out from resort and processed (12km) for the Palampur a green hill station situated in Kangra Valley surrounded on all sides by tea gardens and pine forests before they merge with the Dhauladhar ranges. Palampur is the tea capital of northwest India but tea is just one aspect that makes Palampur a special interest place. Palampur, also known as the 'Tea Capital of North India', is a popular hill station because it is not only known for its scenic beauty but also for the beautiful temples and buildings built in the Colonial period. Other famous tourist destination nearby :- Bir This village is famous for its Buddhist monasteries. Hang gliding pilots use it as their landing site. Bir, surrounded by tea gardens and an amphitheater of low hills, is an ideal landing around for para-gliders. Baijnath (16 km. from town.) The Shiva temple at Baijnath is one of the most remarkable monuments of the Kangra valley. Saurabh Van vihar : (4 km from town) The Vihar sprawls on an area of 35 acres and there is a green park located here. The area is surrounded by the Dhauladhar mountains and offers scenic views of the surrounding. Mahakal Temple, Jakhni temple and Bhattu Monesty. Drive back to resort approx. 1 hr and overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Dharamshala-Mcleodganj

  After breakfast check-out from resort and processed (6km) for Chamunda Devi, the temple is rightly situated on the bank of river Ban Ganga. Before reaching Dharmshala you can also cover Tapovan. Dharamshala is a city in the upper reaches of the Kangra Valley and is surrounded by dense coniferous forest consisting mainly of stately Deodar cedar trees. The city is divided into two distinct sections. Kotwali Bazaar and the surrounding markets are referred to as "Lower Dharamshala" or just "Dharamshala." You can take lunch at Dharmshala and proceed to Macleodganj. Other tourist places to covered here are Bhagsunath is an attractive tourist spot, well known waterfall and a small shrine that lies at the end of an easy walk from Macleodganj bazaar. Triund is a popular picnic spot at an height of 2925 m. The area is on the feet of the perpetually snow clad foothills of Dhauladhar range. The breathtaking views of the mountains and the valleys makes Triund an ideal picnic spot and trekking spot or Perfect word would be "Trekkers Paradise". Triund is 9km from McLeodganj and Illaqa is about four km further up from Triund. Dal Lake 2km distance from MacleodGanj. Drive back to resort approx. 1:30hrs drive and overnight stay.

  After breakfast check-out from resort and explore (12km) by road & (5km) by foot for Garh Temple, if you are looking for Trekking. Thereafter, explore Brijeshwari Devi temple, Kangra Fort in the way and reach back to the destination.
