Whilst being able to immerse yourself in all this culture and sights along the way, there is also plenty of time for you to relax. Whether you want to get involved in every water sport activity ever invented or you would prefer to lie in the sun with a book, you will be able to do both on this magnificent voyage.
Although you are cruising on a standard Turkish gulet you will afford the luxury of A/C in your cabins on this blue cruise holiday. Your Turkish gulet will take you out into the Gokova region that is one of the highlights in this coastline of Turkey. Bodrum is capital for Blue cruises in Turkey and very popular port to start your gulet cruise holiday.
Day 1 :
You will board your yacht in Bodrum harbour late in the afternoon. Here you will enjoy a welcome drink and a short briefing from the captain before settling in to have dinner on your gulet and getting to know the other guests. The night and afternoon is then yours. So you will have time to visit the highlights of Bodrum including the Bodrum Castle and Bodrum Mausoleum. Later on in the evening, after dinner, you may like to go and enjoy some of Turkey's best night bars and clubs that are found in Bodrum.
Day 2 :
After breakfast it's time to cruise out of Bodrum Harbour and onto Orak Island. On arrival it's time to swim, relax and have the opportunity to visit the ruins of Byzantine village. We will have lunch here and then cruise onto Cokertme Bay. This is the perfect location to spend the evening as the waters of Cokertme Bay are undisturbed waters, which makes it a beautiful location to take a dip or try a spot of snorkelling.
Day 3 :
After breakfast, it's time to depart for the Seven Islands area in the Gulf of Gokova. Later on in the afternoon, we cruise to our overnight stop on the eastern side of English Port. This spot is also commonly known as English Harbor. It gets its name from back in World War II when the British torpedo boats hid here throughout the war. You will have the afternoon and early evening to spend your time swimming, snorkelling and windsurfing. It's a great place to snorkel as there are English War ships that lay below the sapphire blue waters.
Day 4 :
In the morning it's time to cruise onto Sedir Island (Cleopatra island), the site of ancient Cedrae. If you are feeling active you can head off to explore the ruins ashore and take a swim at Cleopatra beach. This beach has the legend that the golden sands here were bought all the way from Africa, especially for Cleopatra. After sometime here you will then cruise onto Karacasogut Village, which is a small village only 25 minutes from Marmaris. This is where we will stay overnight so for those who wish to spend a night out in Marmaris, a minibus service departs from the town centre and can be arranged for you. Marmaris is famous for its bars and nightclubs.
Day 5 :
There will be time for a morning swim to wake yourselves up before we cruise mid-morning to Longoz Bay. Here you will find a pine-forested bay which is a beautiful spot to stop for lunch. The next stop will be Tuzla Bay, a charming fisherman’s village known for its restaurants and speciality fresh sea dishes. This is where we will spend the evening, so you have time to go wander through the village or take a walk through the shore by the pine forest, which attracts lots of wading birds and other wildlife.
Day 6 :
This morning we will cruise onto the northern side of the gulf where we will stop for lunch and a swim at Kargili, a small bay set at the foot of a huge mountain. We will then continue on our journey to anchor down in the afternoon at our last stop Kisekbuku.
Day 7 :
Day seven is a lazy start to the day. Guests can relax, enjoy their breakfast and take a swim before we sail through to Pabuc and Yaliciftlik. There will be plenty of swimming stops in small hidden bays with crystal clear waters. This afternoon we will cruise back into Bodrum Harbour where we will enjoy a farewell dinner in harbour. You again have the chance to hit the town and enjoy the vibrant nightlife in Bodrum, after dinner is finished.
