Phuntsholing, also spelled as Phuentsholing, is a border town in southern Bhutan and is the administrative seat of Chukha District. The town occupies parts of both Phuentsholing Gewog and Sampheling Gewog.
Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital, occupies a valley in the country’s western interior. In addition to being the government seat, the city is known for its Buddhist sites. Paro is a valley town in Bhutan, west of the capital, Thimphu. It is the site of the country’s only international airport and is also known for the many sacred sites in the area. North of town, the Taktsang Palphug (Tiger’s Nest) monastery clings to cliffs above the forested Paro Valley. Northwest of here are the remains of a defensive fortress, Drukgyel Dzong, dating from the 17th century.
Day 1 : NJP Railway Station/IXB Airport to Phuentsholing - Pick up

Meet & Greet on arrival at NJP Railway Station / IXB Airport and transfer to Phuentsholing (961 ft.) - The Gateway of Bhutan by Road from India. Day 2 : Phuentsholing to Thimphu - Transfer

After breakfast, complete the immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu (7,710 ft.) the capital city of Bhutan. On the way, stop at places to view scenery and for Photography. Day 3 : Thimphu - Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit the Kuenselphodrang (Buddha Dordenma). Located at a short drive from Thimphu City Centre, Kuenselphodrang offers a good overview of the Thimphu valley. The largest statue of Buddha in the country sits here, which houses over one hundred thousand smaller Buddha statues. Then visit the National Memorial Chorten built in the memory of the Third King of Bhutan and visit the Folk Heritage Museum. Afternoon visit Sangaygang View Point. The Lookout point offers a stunning panoramic view of the entire Thimphu. On the way back, visit the Takin Preserve Centre. Takin is the National animal of Bhutan. Then visit the Changangkha Lhakhang. This is a popular Buddhist temple and is especially visited by parents to receive blessings for their newborn. Its interiors are full of murals that depict different stories. In the evening, visit the Tashichho Dzong, first built in 1216 A.D. by Lama Gyalwa Lhanangpa. The Dzong is the seat of the National Government and the Central Monastic Body, including the summer residence of the Je Khenpo (Chief Abbot of Bhutan). Overnight stay at Thimphu.
Day 4 : Thimphu to Punakha/Wangdue - Transfer and Sightseeing
Approx Distance: 78 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours
After breakfast drive to Punakha/Wangdue (4298 ft.), on the way Stop at Dochu-La-Pass (10334 ft.) to view the higher Himalayas. The pass is approximately 25 kms away from Thimphu and is the highest point between the Thimphu and Punakha/Wangdue Valley. Another attraction is the 108 chorten/stupas (Druk Wangyel Chortens) built close to each other surrounded by numerous colorful prayer flags. On arrival at Punakha, check in at the hotel. Afternoon, visit Punakha Dzong - built in 1637 by Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal. For many years until the time of the second king, it served as the seat of the Government. The Dzong was named Druk Pungthang Dechen Phodrang (Palace of Great Happiness). Punakha is still the winter residence of Je-Khenpo and King Jigme Dorji Wangchuck convened the first National Assembly here in 1952. After that take a short and easy hike to visit the Chhimi Lhakhang - The Temple, also known as “The Temple of Fertility” was built by Lama Drukpa Kuenley, “The Devine Mad Man”. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.
Day 5 : Gangtey/Phobjikha Excursion or Punakha Sightseeing
Approx Distance: 78 Km • Est. Travel Time: 3 hours
After breakfast, start for full day excursion trip to Gangtey Valley (9,842 ft.). On the way you shall come across different flora and fauna, monuments, villages and people. Stop at places for sightseeing and photography. While in Gangtey visit the Gangtey Goemba the only Nyingmapa monastery in western Bhutan, which was established in the 17th century. Then explore the Phobjikha valley, one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in the Himalayas and the winter roosting place for the endangered Black
necked Cranes which migrates from the arid plains of Tibet in the north. You may choose to hike around the Valley. After visiting the valley drive back to Punakha. Overnight stay at Punakha / Wangdue.

Alternatively, instead of going to Gangtey / Phobjikha, you also have an option of spending the day in Punakha Valley itself. After breakfast hike to Khamsum Yuelley Namgyal Chorten which is about 45 Mins easy hike to the top of the hill. It offers a breath-taking view of the Punakha Valley. After that visit Punakha Suspension Bridge which is one of the longest in Bhutan. Later visit The Sangchhen Dorji Lhuendrup Nunnery, a temple plus nunnery perched on a ridge overlooking Toebesa village, Punakha and Wangduephodrang valleys. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay in Punakha / Wangdue.
Day 6 : Punakha/Wangdue to Paro - Transfer and Sightseeing

After breakfast drive to Paro (7,483 ft.). On the way stop at Lamperi to visit Royal Botanical Park. This park is a treat for nature lovers as the 36 species of exotic rhododendron and approximately 220 types of charming birds will make your day unforgettable. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Ta Dzong - National Museum with an excellent collection of arts, relics, religious thangkha, etc. Then visit the Rinpung Dzong - Meaning "fortress of the heap of jewels". The dzong now serves as the administrative and judicial seat of Paro. Rest of the evening at leisure. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 7 : Paro - Taktshang Monastery Excursion
Approx Distance: 40 Km • Est. Travel Time: 1 hour 30 minutes
After breakfast, drive to the base of the abode of gods and monks, the Taktshang Monastery. The monastery is a 2 -3 hours hike uphill from here. One feels truly blessed reaching the monastery. The primary Lhakhang was built surrounding Guru Rinpoche’s Meditation cave in 1684 which clings to the edge of a sheer Rock cliff that plunges 900 meters into the valley below. Legend has it that Guru Rinpoche flew here on the back of a tigress which gives its name “Taktshang” meaning Tiger’s nest. Afternoon (If time permits), visit the Drukgyel Dzong. Built in 1647, the dzong was destroyed by accidental fire and left in ruins as an evocative reminder of the great victories it was built to commemorate. Explore the ramparts and experience an unforgettable view of Mt. Jhomolhari (7,314 m). On the way back, visit Kichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in Bhutan. Overnight stay at Paro.
Day 8 : Paro to Phuentsholing - Transfer

SCOPE OF ACTIVITY:
This company is basically a travel & holiday organiser/facilitator company only. The company does not control or operate any airline or any other mode of transport like shipping, railway, motor, buses, coaches, etc. nor does the company control any hotels or restaurants, other facility or services mentioned in the booking confirmation. The company also does not own or control any Hotel, Restaurant, Transport or other facility or the services mentioned in this booking confirmation. The company takes utmost care in selecting all the components for making your holiday a comfortable one. The company only selects/facilitates but does not have any control in running the selected services. Thus, the company is not responsible for any injury, loss, personal harm, death or damage that may be caused to any person or property which may be caused by the act or default of the management or employees of any independent contractor and arising outside our normal selection and inspection process of the services. It is imperative that all the passengers who are joining any of our tours, shall abide by and strictly comply and observe all the terms and conditions laid down herein.
JURISDICTION:
All disputes pertaining to the tour and travel, travel related services conducted by the company and any claim arising there-under shall be subjected to Rajkot Jurisdiction only.
MEALS:
There is a pre-set menu for meals as per the tour program. Packed meals would be served at some places. Unlike an airline, the company cannot process a special meal, nor can it guarantee a special diet for any particular guest, except for the extent mentioned in the brochure and preferred by the customer. The company, however, reserves the right to change the meal arrangements if circumstances make it necessary for it to do so. In the event of the tour participant missing any meal due to any reason, no claim can be made by the participant thereafter, for the meal he/she has missed and not utilised. The company does not guarantee Gujarati food, butter milk, papad, pickle, etc. and also does not guarantee pure vegetarian restaurants in International or Domestic Tours.
HOTELS:
Hotel Rooms Air-Conditioning, central heating and other facilities are solely at the hoteliers&rsquo discretion, depending upon factors such as weather conditions, local systems, tour type, room category etc. Accommodation is generally provided on Twin Sharing basis King beds are requested for couples however, they are not guaranteed depending upon the inventory of the hotel upon check in time. Triple Rooms are not larger than twin rooms and the third bed is often a roll-away mattress put in a twin-bedded room. Single people will have to pay single occupancy charges. If a single person seeks for a partner and the partner is available, twin sharing charges will be applicable. In case the partner gets cancelled the other partner will have to pay single occupancy charges. Single person not willing to pay single occupancy charges will have to share a room with two or three co- passengers, subject to availability or has to wait till the willing person books the tour or bear the cancellation charges. For all tours, accommodations in the hotels are made on the most basic/standard rooms only (as per the tour itinerary), any upgradations will be solely at the customers&rsquo expenditure. Guests will have to abide by the check-in and check-out times of the respective hotels. Early arrivals and late departures should be adjusted by the guests themselves as per the respective check-in and check-out timings for which additional cost may be applicable. All baggage and personal effects shall be at all times and in all circumstances, the responsibility of passengers. The company will not be responsible for or liable for any loss of such baggage and personal belongings during the tour. Laundry, telephone, mini bar, alcohol, beverages and food not on the menu, optional excursions, excess baggage fees, shopping, paid toilets are all items of a personal nature. These additional items will be charged separately to the Guest before leaving the hotel, ship/cruise or restaurant by the concerned authority. Such charges for additional items are payable by passengers alone and the company will not be liable for the same. Any damages called by the passengers to the hotel during the stay is to be settled directly. The company does not take responsibility to interfere in such charges, the same has to be settled by the passengers. No portage is offered during any package tours/hotel bookings. Any charges for the portage service availed have to be paid by the passengers.
COACHES:
All the baggage and personal effects of the passengers are at all times and in all circumstances their own responsibility. The company will not be responsible or liable in case of loss of any items from the coach. Any damages caused by the passenger to the coach during the travel shall be payable by them and the company will not be liable for the same. The company uses air-conditioned/air-cool luxury coaches. The coaches may be equipped with an emergency washroom however, this facility is not to be used as they leave a pale smell for the rest of the journey. For the use of rest rooms there will be frequent comfort stops. In case of emergency to use the onboard facility, the passenger needs to pay cleaning tips to the driver directly. For Kenya the company uses Non-Ac Combi (Itinerary changes and unavailability of sights). The company may often operate more than one coach per departure date. Incase of vehicle failure/traffic jam passenger&rsquos will have to wait for alternate arrangements and if any sightseeing is missed or flight/train is missed, passenger&rsquos are not entitled for any compensation nor can claim any refunds. However, the company always does its best during calamities. ITENARY CHANGES AND UNAVAILABILITY OF SIGHTS: The company may often operate more than one coach per departure date. For the comfort and convenience of passengers, or due to emergency situations the company may sometimes change or amend the itinerary, including flight/train/coach routing for the comfort and convenience of the passengers or due to any other disaster/calamities. Under these circumstances when amendments in itinerary are made by the company and any sightseeing/city mentioned in the original booked itinerary is missed, passengers are not entitled for any claims or refunds. Incase if any passenger fails to abide by the pickup/drop off time given by tour managers/tour guide during itinerary, he/she may have to reach to the next point on their own and will not be entitled for any claim for such expenditure During local or national holidays certain facilities such as museums and restaurants, sightseeing tours and shopping may be limited or not available for which there shall be no complaints/ or claiming of refund. All itineraries are well planned. Airline companies may change their flight schedule depending on varying economic conditions and demand. Such changes in the airline schedules may indirectly impact our tour itineraries, accordingly the company reserves the right to change its schedule due to circumstances beyond its control. Such changes shall also cause variation by the way of alterations/ additions/ reductions in the tour program which shall not be compensated.
PAYMENTS:
The registration amount paid at the time of booking, is a non- refundable and interest free amount. All the payments shall be paid in accordance with the procedure laid down in the booking confirmation. If the passengers fail to pay the final payment as per the instructions the company reserves the right to cancel the reservation. In case of billing errors, the company has the right to re-invoice with correct pricing. In case of dishonoured cheques, passengers will have to pay INR 1000/- for every such dishonour. A cheque dishonoured is an offence under the Negotiable instruments act and the company reserves all rights to take necessary legal actions as may be advised. The bookings will be processed only after the registration amount is paid in full.
TOUR PRICE:
The tour package prices quoted in our proposal or company&rsquos brochure/booking confirmation have been calculated as per the rates prevailing at the time of printing of such proposal/brochures/ booking confirmation. The company reserves the rights to amend/alter the price published in such a proposal or brochure in case of supplier rate fluctuations, currency fluctuations due to changes in the various cross rates of exchange, changes in various taxes, visa fees and /or fuel cost, before the date of departure. Any increase in price must be paid for in full before tour departure by the passengers. In exceptional cases any increases in price during the tour must be paid in full by the passengers during the tour.
DEVIATIONS:
If the passenger wishes to deviate from the tour itinerary, the changes will be made subject to availability. For such deviation, the passenger has to pay the additional supplementary cost in full before the tour departure, which may affect the passenger&rsquos tour price.
VISA:
All passengers travelling with Best Tours Forex and Pvt. Ltd. must be in possession of a valid visa. It is at the sole discretion of the Consulate/Authorities to ask for the original s/ personal interview of the passengers at any time. However, as granting or rejecting a visa is the sole prerogative of the concerned Consulate/Authorities even after submitting all the relevant s, the company will not be held responsible for denial of visa. In case the visa application is rejected by the concerned embassy/consulate/authorities, due to incomplete/ delayed s furnished by the passengers or due to any other reason whatsoever, or there are errors in the date of visa granted or scanned photographs on the visa, the company shall not be liable or responsible for the same. All costs and charges in respect of the said application for the visa shall be borne by the passenger. If the passenger needs to cancel a tour due to rejection of visa or rejection of entry into the country, the cancellation charges of the company will be applicable and shall be payable by the passenger. There will be no refund if the passenger or any member of his party is unable to travel due to any reasons. Any fines, penalties or any such payments arising due to not meeting with the requirements of any airport or government authority in respect of Passport or Visa s, then it will be sole responsibility of the passengers. In the events of deportation of passengers for any reasons by the foreign authorities, the passengers are not entitled for any claim/refunds.
TRANSFER OF TOUR:
A transfer from the originally booked tour to another tour will be treated as cancellation of earlier tour and a fresh booking of another tour. Transfer is applicable within Indian/World Tours only. All cancellation charges stated in the booking terms will be applied. Cancellation charges will be charged as per actual tour cost & not on a discounted tour price. Tour price and/or discounts available on the date of fresh booking will be applicable.
DISCOUNTS/BENEFITS:
The company reserves the right to amend, alter, vary or withdraw any of the discounts/benefits without prior intimation. The discount/benefits are valid for limited number of seats and limited period for limited dates only. The discounts/benefits given to the guests will be at the sole discretion of the company and may vary from passenger to passenger. The passengers booking the same tour on a later date will not be entitled for any claim of different price offered to other passengers.
Cancellation & Refund Policy :
Arrival All bookings for airlines/hotel accommodation/ ground transportation are pre-blocked well in advance. The company is liable to pay penalties to all their suppliers/vendors if these services are not released within the mentioned time frame. If the passengers desire to cancel the tour due to any reason, they shall make an application in writing to that effect, along with the original receipt issued by the company. Such cancellation will attract the cancellation charges given below. The company reserves the right to cancel any tour prior to its departure without assigning any reason. The tour price paid by the prospective passengers shall be returned by the company by &lsquoA/C payee&rsquo cheque against receipt only, and no compensation and/or interest shall be paid in any case. Cancellation charges for any ticket/ Air reservation are applicable as per the rules of airlines/railways. Air ticket cancellation charges for special fares if paid by the passengers are NON-REFUNDABLE. Any refund payments will be returned to the Passengers after receipt of the refund from respective airlines/railways in the company&rsquos bank account and only after deducting the processing charges.
Refund:
Refunds if any, for amendments and/or cancellations will be paid directly to the passengers strictly by &lsquoA/C payee&rsquo cheque, in Indian Rupees at the prevailing rate of exchange within 45 days, as per Reserve Bank of Indian Rules and Regulations, irrespective of whether the tour payments were in part in foreign currency. No refund will be payable, for any unused portion of tour, due to whatsoever reason. No refund will be made in cash. Partly utilised tour becomes non-refundable in all circumstances.

OTHER CONDITIONS:
Passenger&rsquos signature on the booking form or payment of the registration amount shall mean acceptance in totality of the &lsquoTerms and Conditions&rsquo contained herein by the passenger(s). In case of one or more, but not all passengers signing the &lsquoBooking Form&rsquo, it shall be deemed that the others have duly authorised the concerned signing passenger/s on their behalf. There is no contract between the company and passengers until the company has received the initial registration deposit in accordance with the procedures in the brochure. The initial deposit just ensures a seat or participation on the tour but does not entitle any services such as air tickets, visas, hotel accommodations, until the full payment has been received. The full payment must be received in accordance with the procedures laid down in this brochure. If full payment is not paid in time, the company reserves the right to cancel the booking with subsequent loss of deposit and apply the cancellation charges as mentioned herein.
The company reserves the right at any time and for any
reason:
To cancel the application of any of the prospective passengers without assigning for any reason after acceptance of the deposit, but prior to commencement of the tour. In the event of the company terminating the contract, the company may refund the deposit without payment of any interest To amend, alter, vary or withdraw any tour, holiday, excursion, flight routing or facility it has advertised or published or, to substitute a hotel or air/rail/bus journey or independent contractor of similar class of dispute regarding the same To amend, alter, vary or withdraw the discounts/benefits or the priority booking of bus seats given, if the minimum registration amount is not paid at the time of booking or cheque is dishonoured.
If there are not enough passengers for any particular tour and the company decides to operate the tour with available participation below the stipulated number or if the passenger(s) are required to travel as &lsquoIndividual Travelers&rsquo, the company reserves the right to collect additional amounts from the passengers. Passenger(s) travelling as individual travellers in such cases will not be provided certain services including that of tour escorts, group activities, meals and the passenger(s) may travel with some amendments, such as seat in coach airport transfers which are fixed times, etc.
LIABILITY:
The liability of the company is restricted to the making of reservation/facilitation in accordance with the passenger&rsquos requirements. The liability of the company will cease on the issue of a ticket, reservation and travel to the passenger. Company is not liable for any loss of person or property caused or damaged or suffered by the passenger on account of deficiency in services by any independentcontractor may it be any
airline/hotel/transporter/restaurant/sightseeing. Any gesture of courtesy extended by the company to the passenger to minimise such loss or damage will not constitute to admission of such liability or a waiver. The company shall in no circumstances whatsoever be liable to the passenger or any other person travelling for any loss or expense incurred due to:LOSS OF PRIORITY OR LIFE:
Any death, personal injury, sickness, accident, loss, delay, discomfort, increased expenses, consequential loss and/or damage to baggage or personal effects however caused. In case of injury/damage/death of any passenger due to accident of coach/vehicle/public transport or due to any calamities whatsoever during the tour, company shall not be held responsible and passenger shall have no right to any claim or demand any compensation.Train/Flight delays, rescheduling/cancellation of train/flights, inter-connection occurring due to airline problems and/or any change in train/flight schedule or meals not being served Best Tours and Forex Private Limited is also not responsible for any alternate arrangements and the passengers have no right to claim any loss or consequences arising due to the same. Any overstay expenses due to delay/changes/cancellations in air, bus, ship, train or cancellation of special bogie or other services due to sickness, weather conditions, strike, war, quarantine, or any other cause whatsoever. Sightseeing missed and/or the program being curtailed after commencement of the tour and/or before the due period due to any unavoidable circumstances and any reason beyond the company&rsquos control such as political, natural calamity, monument under renovation, heavy rush at sightseeing places, road traffic congestion etc All the loss or expenses will have to be borne by the passengers. Arising in any way out of this contract in respect of any tour, holiday, excursion facility which exceeds the total amount paid or agreed to be paid for the tour, and shall in no case include any consequential loss or additional expense whatsoever. If in the event of the passenger(s) is booked on a particular train/airline on a particular date due to certain reasons beyond the control of the company the passenger(s) are not allowed to board the train/flight, the passenger(s) shall not hold the company responsible for the same and no claim whatsoever can be made by tour participant against the company. The company shall not be responsible and/or liable for any damage or loss caused to the passenger(s) due to reasons beyond the control of the company. The company is not liable for any loss due to negligence or technical fault or any other reason whatsoever due to change, amendment or cancellation by Airline.
COMPLAINTS OR GRIEVANCES:
If any passenger has any complaint in respect of services provided by any of the independent contractors, the passenger shall immediately notify the same to the independent contractor in writing, and a copy thereof shall be handed over to the tour manager, to enable the company to take up the matter with the independent contractor. Any claim or complaint by the passenger must be notified to the company in writing within 7 days after the tour completion date. No claim notified to the company beyond this period will be entertained and the company shall incur no liability in respect of thereof. The company reserves the unconditional right to refuse a booking/terminate a passenger on tour in event of unreasonable behaviour at any time. Best Tours and Forex Private Limited will not be responsible if any celebrity does not turn up on the tour due to the reasons beyond the control of the company.
SINGLE GUEST:
Guest travelling alone must pay single supplement charges if a suitable partner for double/triple sharing is not available or the earlier partner cancels the tour before the departure. For international tours passengers who join the tour directly must possess airline tickets (including internal travel) and visas as per itinerary.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS:
It shall be the sole responsibility of the passenger(s) to hold valid travel s and statutory clearances, such as passports, visas, confirmed air/rail tickets, insurance and medical insurance certificates, any other used to confirm an arrangement with the service provider and other statutory certificates, to enable passengers to travel on tour. All s are non-transferable. All airline tickets must be issued in the name of the passport/photo identity holder, some carriers will deny carriage if the name varies and the booking may be cancelled. Your passport must be valid for at least nine months subsequent to the scheduled departure date of the tour with sufficient number of blank pages for visa purposes. It is the passenger&rsquos responsibility to collect in time, the necessary travel s or other s from the booking office. Prior to the travel it is the responsibility of the passengers to check the scheduled departure time of the airline or rail. The coach drivers, mostly on international routes, are bound by specific rules. Any sightseeing missed due to delay by any passenger is non-refundable. The company solely reserves the right to publish the passenger&rsquos photograph or group photograph taken during the tour. The distances, temperatures and pre/post tour accommodation prices given in the brochure are approximate and subject to change.

Each of these conditions shall be severable from others if any provision declared invalid, illegal or unenforceable, then remaining provisions nevertheless have full force and effect. Cancellation will be collected according to the service that has been booked.
