Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival & Lumbini

  Arrive Kathmandu. Meet & transfer to fly to Gautama Buddha Airport, Bhairahawa, visit to Lumbini Sacred Garden the Birthplace of the Buddha.

• Day 2 : Lumbini

  After Breakfast Sightseeing Tour of Ancient Kapilavastu (30 km): Tilaurakot (the capital of the Sakya kingdom of Kapilavastu) Kudan (the ancient Nyagrodha monastery built by King Suddhodana for the Buddha and his community who visited Kapilavastu for the first time after enlightenment) Gotihawa (nirvana stupa of the Krakuchhanda Buddha where Emperor Asoka erected a pillar and built a stupa) Niglihawa (the birthplace of the kanakamuni Buddha, here emperor Asoka visited and erected a pillar with inscription).
  After Lunch Visit to Ramagrama (50 km), the sacred relic stupa, which contains the relic of the Buddha.

• Day 3 : Vaishali

  Drive to Vaishali (406 km) visiting enroute Kesharia Kesharia is the place where the Buddha gave his Alms Bowl to the Lichchhivis of Vaishali).
  In Vaishali visit to Kutagarasala Monastery Asoka Pillar, Monkey Tank & other Ruins.

• Day 4 : Rajgir

  Drive to Rajgir (113 km) from Vaishali via Patna (ancient capital of emperor Asoka) Nalanda (The Ancient famous University).
  Rajgir (the capital city of Magada, the most favorite spot of the Buddha).

• Day 5 : Bodhgaya

  Drive to Bodhgaya (81 km) via Mahakala cave (the Buddha meditated for six months before he was enlightened), Sujata Kuti (who offered milk & pudding rice to the Buddha before enlightened)
  Bodhgaya Where the Buddha was enlightened.

• Day 6 : Vanarasi

  Morning tour of Bodhgaya & Drive to Varanasi (255 km) (visit to sacred Ganga River & observed the Aarti)

• Day 7 : Saranath/Kushinagar

  Morning visit to Sarnath archaeological site. Observe to Dhammeka Stupa, Asoka Pillar, Gandha Kuti & other Ruins. Afternoon drive to Kushinagar (260 km) for the overnight.

• Day 8 : Cross Border to Bhairahawa/Kathmandu

  After breakfast visit to Mahaparinirvana Temple & Cremation Stupa & Rambhar at Kushinagar.
  Drive to Sunauli Border (154 km) with Picnic Lunch to have it in a suitable place on the way. Cross Nepal Border to reach Bhairahawa to fly to Kathmandu from Gautama Buddha Airport between 3-4 PM. Late afternoon, tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square. O/N in Kathmandu.

• Day 9 : Kathmandu

  Full day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city; visiting Monkey Temple (Swoyambhunath), Durbar Square, Ancient Capital city of Kathmandu & Pashupatinath Temple. Evening for walking around Thamel; an old tourist market. O/N Hotel.

• Day 10 : Kathmandu

  Morning Tour of Bouddhanath on the way to Kathmandu International Airport (TIA) for departure HOME
