Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Delhi

  On arrival at Delhi Airport (DEL) meet & assist by our representative and transfer to your Hotel. Rest of the time is for leisure.

• Day 2 : Delhi – Lucknow (Day Train)– Sravasti

  Today early morning after having breakfast at the Hotel and Check-out transfer to the Railway Station for train to Lucknow. On arrival in Lucknow pick-up & drive to Sravasti.

• Day 3 : Sravasti – Lumbini

  Today morning after breakfast, go for sightseeing around at Sah Mahet which is known as the Capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala, Jetawana Gardens and Buddhist temples. Later drive to Lumbini. Reach Lumbini & Check-in to the Hotel.

• Day 4 : Lumbini - Kushinagar

  Today morning after breakfast visit Lumbini Park where the Ashok Pillar carries the inscription - where the Buddha was born. Also visit the temples of many respective countries like Thai Temple, China Temple, Korian Temple, Japanies Temple, Srilankan Temple etc.. Later drive to Kushinagar.

• Day 5 : Kushinagar – Vaishali - Patna

  Post breakfast at the hotel, explore Kushinagar. visit,Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breath) , the ruins of the Mukutbandhan Stupa, Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of lord Buddha) and a beautiful statue of the reclining Buddha,. Later drive to Patna via Vaishali, the ancient city where Lord Buddha preached his last sermon. In Vaishali, you can see Buddha Stupa 1 and 11 (14th century B.C) built in brick with a casket containing part of ashes of Buddha and Ashok Pillar. Also enroute to Kushinagar take a stop in Kesaria for visiting Kesaria Stupa. After a small stopover, drive to Patna.

• Day 6 : Patna – Nalanda – Rajgir - Bodhgaya

  After breakfast in the morning, drive to Bodhgaya. En-route, visit Nalanda University, founded in the 5th century B.C. Also, pay a visit to the archeological museum that exhibits the Nalanda University seal, sculptures and other remains found on the site. Later take a 20 km drive to Rajgir. Further, visit Griddhkuta 'Hill of Vultures', where Buddha delivered some of his most famous sermons. After that, visit Saptparni caves where first Buddha Council was held which is also the source of Rajgir's hot springs. Later continue drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival at Bodhgaya,

• Day 7 : Bodhgaya

  Today morning after breakfast at the Hotel & visit Mahabodhi Temple, which includes tall stone lotuses, figures of Buddha sitting in different postures on the walls, Buddha footprints on the stones, a colossal golden Buddha in the sanctum sanctorum and the Bodhi Tree, under which Prince Siddhartha, the founder of Buddhism, achieved enlightenment. Also vist Dungeshwari cave temples are also known as the Mahakala caves located 12 kms northeast of Bodhgaya. Lord Budha underwent years of penance here before he descended to Bodhgaya. A path across the river and up to the temples is 9km from Bodhgaya on the road to Gaya. There are three main caves containing Hindu and Buddhist shrines. Latter drive back to Bodhgaya. Later visit Budha Statue, Japanese Temple, Chinese Temple, TibetianTemple.After visiting come back to the Hotel, Dinner.

• Day 8 : Bodhgaya – Varanasi

  After breakfast & check-out from the Hotel, drive to Varanasi. At evening attend the very holy Ganga Aarti into the Ghats of Varanasi. Comeback to the Hotel,

• Day 9 : Varanasi – Sarnath - Varanasi

  The morning begin this day with a boat ride on the river Ganges. Enjoy the sunrise and later, you can spend some time at the bathing Ghats of this city. Do visit attractions such as Bharat Mata Temple, Banaras Hindu University and Kasi Vishwanath Temple. Stay overnight at the hotel. Later go for excursion to Sarnath. Sarnath is the place where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon to his disciples. The attractions at Sarnath are the Buddha temples, the Dhamekha stupa, Chaukhandi stupa and the archaeological museum. After sightseeing drive back to Varanasi. At evening spend some time for shopping into local market.

• Day 10 : Varanasi – Delhi (Flight) Departure

  Today after breakfast & check-out from the Hotel transfer to the Varanasi Airport for flight to Delhi. On arrival in Delhi Airport take another flight to onward destination.
