Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : You arrive at Delhi

    Upon your arrival in the Indian capital city of New Delhi, meet & greeted by our representative at the International Airport. Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 2 : Delhi/Varanasi

    Morning breakfast at hotel.Then transfer to airport to catch flight for Varanasi.
    Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Varanasi.
    Depart to Delhi by Indigo flight # 6E 308 at: 08:55 Hours and Arrive to Varanasi at: 10:15 Hours.
    Arrival in Varanasi, Check in at Hotel afternoon visit Sarnath Buddhist Dhamek Stupa & archeological Museum (closed on Friday). At Sarnath where Lord Buddha delivered first sermon after enlightenment, Chaukhadi Stupa.
    Back to Bharat Mata Temple. In evening visit enjoy Arti evening ritual at Dasawamedh Ghat at river “The Ganges”.
    Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 3 : Varanasi/Bodhgaya (260 kms/05 hrs. drive)

    In early morning box breakfast. Early morning go for boating sunrise on boat on River “The Ganges” & walking true old city.

    Then start drive to Bodhgaya.

    Reaching at Bodhgaya then visit of the Mahabodhi temple here Lord Buddha got enlightenment. Then vist other nation temples and colossal Buddha, Bodhgaya Sujata Stupa, Museum (closed on Friday).

    In evening returned to hotel.

    Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 4 : Bodhgaya/Rajgir/Nalanda/Patna/Kolkata

    In morning enjoy buffet breakfast at hotel. Then proceed to Rajgir where you can visit Stupa on the way Ananda, Old Walls, Wheel tracks, Bimbisar Jail, Japanese Stupa on the hills (through cable car). Then drive to Nalanda (20 minutes drive), reach at Nalanda visit excavation of the Buddhists University and monasteries one of the oldest university & visit Museum (closed on Friday).

    Then proceed to Patna.

    Later on transfer to airport to catch flight to Kolkata.

    Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Kolkata.

    Depart Patna to by Indigo flight # 6E 342 at: 18:35 Hours
    Arrive Kolkata at: 19:35 Hours

    Arrival at Kolkata then transfer to hotel.

    Overnight Stay at Hotel.

  • Day 5 : Kolkata

    Morning breakfast at Hotel then start city tour which includes Mantictolla Temple, Old British Buildings, University quarter, BBD sq., St. John Church, Eden Garden, Howrah Station and Bridge, New Bridge, drive around Fort William, National Library- Kalighat temple (from outside), Victoria Memorial (closed on Monday), St. Paul cathedral, Indian Museum (if open—Closed on Monday), Evening visit local food market.

    Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 6 : Kolkata/ Bhubaneswar

    Morning pack breakfast. Then transfer to airport to catch flight.

    Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Bhubaneswar.

    Depart Kolkata by Indigo flight # 6E-293 at: 0720 Hours
    Arrive Bhubaneswar at: 0820 Hours

    Early morning arrival in Bhubaneswar then move for local city tour.first visit Jain caves in Udayagiri in Western part of the city, sightseeing of important temples like lingraja Temple (from outside). vaital, then Parasurameswar temple, Mukteswar temple, Brahmeswar Temple and Raja rani temple.

    Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 7 : Bhubaneswar/Ratnagiri/Lalitgiri/Bhubaneswar

    Morning breakfast at hotel. Then full day excursion of Buddhist site Monastery at Ratnagiri or the “hill of jewels” situated atop the flat hillock was established in the first half of the sixth century CE, and flourished until the twelfth century CE. The finest relic of Buddhist art at Ratnagiri is a magnificent doorjamb adorning Monastery 1, one of the two monasteries here.

    Then drive to Latitgiri had already been established during the Sunga period of the 2ndcentury BC, making it one of the oldest Buddhist establishment in the world. The excavations revealed theremains of a massive stupa on hilltop with two reliquaries made of khondalite stone.. Then transfer to Hotel.

    Overnight at Hotel.

  • Day 8 : Bhubaneswar/ Puri (60kms/1.5 hrs drive)

    Morning breakfast at hotel. Then drive to Puri enroute visit Dhauli Shanti Stupa or Kalinga War Memorial was constructed on the crested of southern range of the hillock at the Dhauligiri hills in Bhubaneswar.

    It was here at Dhauligiri on the bank of river Daya that Emperor Ashok laid down the weapons of viol (Kalinga War Memorial).

    On arrival at Puri then transfer to hotel. Day free for leisure activity at beach.

    Overnight stay at hotel.

  • Day 9 : Puri/Konark/Bhubaneswar/Delhi

    After buffet breakfast at Hotel. Then morning free for visit beaches of Puri. Puri also situated at Bay of Bengal there is world famous beach; sea, sun, and sand.

    Then drive for Konark surya temple, which is world famous monument specially this temple is famous for erotic sculpture of outside of temple wall. Surya temple is made by purely sand stone which is situated at Bay of Bengal sea side. Visit Archaeological Museum (closed on Friday).

    Late afternoon drive for Bhubaneswar. On arrival at Bhubaneswar.

    Later on depart for Bhuneswar airport to catch flight for Delhi at evening time.

    Later you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Delhi.

    Depart Bhubaneswar by Indigo flight # 6E 258 at: 18:45 Hours
    Arrive Delhi at: 21:00 Hours

    Arrival at Delhi then transfer to hotel.Overnight stay at Hotel.

  • Day 10 : Delhi

    Morning breakfast at hotel. Then day free for sightseeing Old Delhi came into prominence when Shahjahan moved his capital from Agra to Delhi. You visit 300 year old Chandni Chowk market, a maze of lanes crowded with shops selling an extraordinary variety of items and food, the noise and crowds are a quintessential part of any Indian market.

    From here you continue to the Jama Masjid or Friday Mosque. This is India’s largest mosque designed by Shahjahan and was his last architectural legacy. Originally it was called Masjid-I-Jahanuma, which means “mosque commanding a view of the world”. Later we enjoy the daily activities of the colorful markets of old Delhi, riding in a rickshaw, Taxi bike, pulled by man. In complete contrast to the noise and crowds of Old Delhi, is Raj Ghat, a simple and stunning memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, the main architect of India’s independence. You pass through the Red Fort that dominates this area is the landmark. Built in the mid-17th century by Shahjahan, it was plundered by the marauding armies of Nadir Shah and later by British soldiers.

    Afternoon, we take our tour of New Delhi; visit Qutub Minar, the tapering monument begun in 1199 was built to symbolize the supremacy of Islam. This structure was eventually the prototype of all minars or towers in India. We drive pass the India Gate, Presidential Palace and Parliament House.

    Then transfer to International airport to catch flight for onward journey.
