Dwarka, a city that was known as Dwarawati in Sanskrit literature is one of the seven most ancient cities of India. This city was the abode of Lord Sri Krishna. It is the only place considered both as one of the "char dham" (four principal holy places), as well as one of the "sapta puris" (seven holy cities) in our religious texts. The name Dwarka is derived from the word 'Dvar' that means Door in Sanskrit and the significance of this word is the door to Brahma. The city has special significance to the Vaishnavas. The Jagatmandir temple here has the idol of Dwarkadhish, a form of Lord Krishna.
Nageshvara Jyotirlinga, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva, is also located near Dwaraka. There are numerous holy shrines in and around Dwarka and Beyt Dwarka attracts tourists every year. The Dwarakadhish Temple, Nageshvara Jyotirlinga Temple, Shrine of Meerabai, Shri Krishna Temple, the Hanuman Temple and Kachoriyu in Beyt Dwarka are some of the important religious places of Dwarka. With all the religious backgrounds, Dwarka has always remained and continues to remain one of the most visited places of Gujarat.
Somnath :- Somnath temple stands at the shore of the Arabian ocean on the western corner of Indian subcontinent in Gujarat State. This pilgrimage is one of the oldest and finds its reference in the ancient texts like Skandpuran, Shreemad Bhagavat, Shivpuran etc. The chant from Rig-Veda quoted below mention the Bhagvan Someshwar along with the great pilgrimage like Gangaji, Yamunaji and Eastward Saraswati. This signifies the ancient value of this Tirthdham. Somnath is in Prabhas Patan very near to Veraval.
The Moon God is said to have been relieved from the curse of his father-in-law Daksha Prajapati by the blessings of Bhagvan Somnath. In the Shiva Purana and Nandi Upapurana, Shiva said, `I am always present everywhere but specially in 12 forms and places as the Jyotirlingas`. Somnath is one of these 12 holy places. This is the first among the twelve holy Shiva Jyotirlings.
The shore temple of Somnath is believed to have been built in 4 phases-in gold by Lord Soma, in silver by Ravi, in wood by lord Krishna and in stone by King Bhimadeva. The temple is consisting of Garbhgruh, Sabhamandap and Nrityamandap with a 150 feet high Shikhar. The Kalash at the top of the Shikhar weighs 10 tons and the Dhwajdand is 27 feet tall and 1 foot in circumference.
Diu :- Diu is a vibrant city where you find people from different castes and religions. Diu is a major tourist center has many attractions and sightseeing like Bunder Chowk, Fort, Panikota, St. Paul’s Church, INS Kukri. Diu is more popular as a tourist place because of the natural beaches available very near to Diu like nagoa beach, Jalandhar beach, ghoghla beach and Diu city area itself located on beach. As Diu is a famous tourist place approximately 5000 tourist visitors visit Diu per month. Tourist and people of Diu celebrating all the festivals with colors and joy.
Diu Tourism department arranging Diu Festival every year in December to encourage tourism. Diu city is best known as a place that mixes tradition with modernity. This perfect blend is evident in its architecture, with number of historical monuments and structures. Night life in Diu is quite enjoyable and safe. Various tourist attractions in Diu are the Diu Fort, Fortress of Panikota, Nagoa Beach, St. Paul's Church, Jallandhar Shrine, Gangeshwar Temple, Diu Museum, Ghoghla Beach and Gomtimata Beach.

Day 1 : Pick Up From Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station Drive To Dwarka And Hotel Check-in
In the morning, pick up from the airport. Our representative will meet you at the airport. Then we will depart for Dwarka. Dwarka is situated on the Saurashtra coast, where the River Gomti meets the Arabian Sea. According to the legends, Dwarka was once the capital of the Lord Krishna's empire. It is also believed that the original Dwarka, which was an island, was submerged in the sea. Dwarka is also one of the four holy places of the Hindus. Dwarka is known all over the world for the temple of Dwarkadhish, the 'Lord of Dwarka', also known as the Jagat Mandir or temple of the world. In the evening arrive Dwarka, check-in to the hotel and rest day at leisure. OVER NIGHT AT HOTEL
Day 2 : Visit Dwarkadhish Temple Nageshwar Jyotirlinga And Other Temples
In the morning after breakfast we visit the Dwarkadhish temple. Later we will visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga Temple which is Located on the route between Dwarka city and Bet Dwarka Island on the coast of Saurashtra in Gujarat is this important Lord Shiva Temple. It is enshrined by one of the 12 swayambhu (self-existent) Jyotirlinga in the world, in an underground sanctum. A 25 m tall statue of a sitting Lord Shiva and a large garden with a pond are major attractions of this rather serene place. Some archaeological excavations claim five earlier cities at the site. Nageshwar was believed to be known as 'Darukavana', which is an ancient epic name of a forest in India. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Hotel Check-out And Drive To Somnath Visit Somnath And Stay At Somnath
In the morning after breakfast we drive to visit the Somnath. Check-in to the hotel. Later we will visit the Somnath Temple. This temple is one of the twelve most sacred shrines dedicated to the Lord Shiva and a Jyotirlinga. According to the legend, Somnath temple was built originally in gold by Somraj, the moon god. This Somnath temple was rebuilt and destroyed seven times till 1706 A.D when it was raided by the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. After that it was finally rebuilt in 1950 with the support of Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 4 : Hotel Check-out Drive To Diu Local Sightseeing And Enjoy At Beach Stay At Diu
Today, morning after breakfast, transfer to beach town Diu. Diu Island, and is known for its fortress and old Portuguese Cathedral. On arrival check in to the hotel. Take leisure to enjoy the wide variety of water sports facilities available at Nagoa Beach. Later, visit St. Pauls Church, Diu Museum and Diu Fort. Overnight stay at the hotel. Balance day at leisure to laze and relax on the beach. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Check-out From Hotel Drive To Ahmedabad Local Sightseeing And Visit Gandhi Ahsram
In the morning after breakfast, drive to Ahmedabad. Ahmedabad is the second largest cosmopolitan city of Gujarat. This city nurtures in its fold pages of history, a breath of harmony and a show-case of exquisite architecture. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to the hotel in Ahmedabad. In the afternoon we visit the Gandhi ashram. Gandhi ashram is situated in Sabarmati. This ashram is one of the beautiful ashram and the important tourist attraction in Ahmedabad. This ashram was the Mahatma Gandhi's headquarters during their struggle for India's independence and now houses some of the records of the major events in his life, a memorial center and a library, OVER NIGHT AT HOTEL.
Day 6 : Hotel Check-out Visit Jain Temple And Drop At Ahmedabad Airport/Railway Station
In the morning after breakfast, check-out from the hotel. Later, we visit the Hathee Singh Jain Temple. Built outside the Delhi Gate in 1850 by a rich Jain merchant, the temple is dedicated to Dharamanath, the 15th Jina or Jain apposite. This temple is one of the best ornated Jain temples in Ahmedabad and is built of pure white marble and decorated with rich carvings. Later we visit the Jama Masjid. Jama Masjid was built in 1423 AD by Ahmad Shah and described by some as the most beautiful mosque in India. This mosque is believed to have been constructed from the items salvaged from the demolished Hindu and Jain temples. After visiting the mosque we visit the Sidi Saiyad mosque. At Noon drop to the railway station, return Home with Happy Memories of Gujarat.
