Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive New Delhi

  Welcome and assistance on arrival at International Airport. Transfer to Domestic airport to connect Flight to Lucknow. On arrival Lucknow local representative will meet you at the airport & drive to Balrampur. On arrival visit Saravasti. SRAVASTI: This is the place where lord Buddha spent many monsoons Meditating and Preaching to his audience, And according to legend he seated himself on a Thousand Pettaled lotus and multiplied himself a million fold, while water and fire emitted from his body Visit Sravasti - Beheth Mahern capital of ancient Kingdom of Kosala, an active Center For Buddhism. Place of interest are Sahet Mahet, Angulimar, s cave, and Sujata House.
• Day 2 : Sravasti - Lumbini (197 Kms 05 Hrs

  BREAKFAST : at HOTEL.
  Late morning drive to Lumbini 197 Kms 5 hrs. Upon arrival Visit the monuments in lumbini and take time for performing sacred ceremonies. Visit The sacred garden with MAYADEVI TEMPLE depicting the birth of Lord Buddha, the ASHOKA PILLAR pinpointing the birth place and the SAKYAN TANK where Mayadevi, The mother of the Buddha is supposed have taken bath before bringing forth the baby. All round this holy sites are remnants of monasteries and chatiyas built over centuries Following the Buddha’s birth in 623 B.C. Overnight in Hotel.
• Day 3 : Lumbini - Kushinagar (230 Kms / 05 Hrs)

  BREAKFAST : at HOTEL.
  Morning drive to Kushinagar 230 Kms / 05 Hrs.On route visit Kapilvasti - The capital of the Sakya clan were One of the earliest republics. Here lord Buddha spent his childhood. Here he saw sorrow and pain, disease & death. This place holds significant pilgrims after that drive to Kushinagar. KUSHINAGAR: The place where Buddha Passed into Parinirvana. Visit Ramabha stupa, which stands, on the spot where the body of the Lord was cremated. Also visit Natha Kumarka Kot enshrining the large recumbent figure of Buddha in the state of Nirvana. Sightseeing tour of Mahaparinirvana Temple and Rambhar Stupa., The place where Lord Buddha passed away into PARINIRVANA, till today its partial explanation has revealed the Remains of at least ten ancient monasteries. Overnight in Hotel.
• Day 4 : Kushinagar - Vaishali - Patna (256 Kms / 07 Hrs)

  BREAKFAST : at Hotel.
  Breakfast & drive to Patna. On route visit Vaishali - believed to be the first republic of the world having an elected body of representatives, hold a significance for Budhist devotes. The excavations carried out in Vaishali have brought to light Buddha stupa 1 & 11 (14 century). On arrival Patna visit Harmindir Temple in marble built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh (19 Century) Golghar & Patna Museum. Overnight in Hotel.

• Day 5 : Patna - Nalanda - Rajgir - Bodhgaya (198 Kms 05 Hrs.)

  BREAKFAST : at Hotel.
  Morning drive to Bodhgaya on route visit Nalanda - the world's oldest university founded in the 5th century. Also visit monasteries and temples with impressive Buddhist & Hindu images. The Institute for Research into Buddhism and Pali literature which houses rare manuscripts, is also worth visiting for the Enthusiasts. Archaeological museum is also not to be missed for the rare collections. Drive to Rajgir - capital of 6th century Magadha Empire. It was revered site of Buddha’s discourses. Buddha spent many years here. Visit Gridhrakula, Sapataparni cave, Ajatsatru fort and Venuvana. On arrival Bodhgaya check inn hotel.

• Day 6 : Bodhgaya

  BREAKFAST : at Hotel.
  Full day sight seeing of Bodhgaya - Bodhgaya is one of the holiest Buddhist pilgrimage centers. It was here that Gautama attained enlightenment and became Buddha under the "Bodhi" tree Satabodhi Temple, Japanese and Tibetan monasteries along with Magadha university museum are also to be visited. Visit Mahabodhi Temple.
• Day 7 : Bodhgaya - Varanasi (275 Kms 07 Hrs.)

  BREAKFAST : at HOTEL.
  Morning drive to Varanasi on arrival visit SARNATH, here Lord Buddha preached his first sermon after enlightenment and revealed the eight-fold path, the Buddhists doctrine. Visit Chaukhandi Stupa, Ashok Pillar, Dhamek Stupa, Dharamika Stupa, Archaeological Museum.
• Day 8 : Varanasi - Delhi

  BREAKFAST : at HOTEL.
  Very Early Morning Boat riding on River Ganges with beautiful panoramic view of Sunrise and visit the Ghats lining its southern bank in the city. Just cruise along the ghats on a country boat to view sunrise and watch the bathing ghats, and people performing daily rights/ pooja. And visit City Tour visit Gyanvapi Mosque, Bharat Mata Temple, Hindu university. Afternoon connect flight to Delhi. On arrival Delhi if time permits go for shopping & farewell dinner, later transfer to International airport to connect flight to onward destination.
