Songdo cable car - Yonggung Cloud bridge - Gamcheon cultural village - BIFF square - Gukje Market
gdo Cable Car
Busan Air Cruise was built to revive the reputation of Songdo Beach, the first public beach in Korea opened nearly 30 years ago. Thirty-nine cabins, including crystal cabins with transparent floors, travel over the ocean between Songnim Park on the east and Amnam Park on the west. Visitors can also enjoy the first cable car museum in the nation at Songdo Doppelmayr World, Asia's first midair swing Sky Swing, theme park photo services and more.
Yonggung Cloud bridge
Sondo Yonggung Suspension Bridge connects the renovated Songdo Cloud Bridge from Songdo Beach to Geobukseom Island and extended from Amnam Park to Dongseom Island. Visitors can enjoy the thrill of walking above the waters while enjoying the beautiful view in this 127 meters long bridge.
Busan Gamcheon Culture Village
Gamcheon Culture Villiage is formed by houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, earning this village the nickname "Machu Picchu of Busan." Many alleys that cut through this community are vibrantly decorated with murals and sculptures created by the residents.
BIFF Square
Busan’s modern movie district was originally little more than a pair of cinemas that were built following Korea’s liberation from Japanese colonial rule over half a century ago. However, major renovations took place ahead of the first Busan International Film Festival (BIFF), and the newly transformed district was named BIFF Square on August 14, 1996.
Gukje Market
Following the Korean War, refugees who fled to Busan set up stalls in order to make a living, and this was the beginning of the Gukje Market (Gukje meaning "international" in Korean). The Gukje Market is one of Korea’s largest markets; each alleyway is crowded with stalls, and it connects to Bupyeong Market, Kkangtong Market, and other smaller markets.

Seokguram Grotto - Bulguksa Temple - Daereungwon Tomb Complex - Cheomseongdae Observatory
Seokguram Grotto
Seokguram Grotto was constructed by Kim Dae-Seong during the reign of King Gyeong-Deok (742- 765) of the Silla Kingdom. Located 3 kilometers away by hiking trail and 9 kilometers by car from Bulguksa Temple, the grotto was designed very harmoniously with the seated Buddha facing the East Sea. It is a valuable cultural heritage that is preserved and registered as a UNESCO World Heritage on December 6, 1995.
Bulguksa Temple
Bulguksa Temple is a representative relic of Buddhist culture from the Silla kingdom. The temple was built during the 15th year of King Beopheung's reign (514-540) to wish for peace and prosperity for all. It was later rebuilt in 751 by Kim Dae-seong. Unfortunately, the temple caught fire during the Imjin War (1592-1598). After the war, the temple suffered serious damage and was often the target of theft.
Daereungwon Tombs / Tumuli Park
Within Daereungwon Tomb Complex is Cheonmachong Tomb (Ancient Tomb No. 155), which was excavated in 1973. Cheonmachong Tomb consists of a wooden coffin placed inside an underground chamber mounded with boulders and earth, characterized as a typical upper class tomb of the Silla period. The mound has a height of 12.7 m with a diameter of 50 m, and consists of a layer of rocks collected from streams. Below the rock layer is a wooden chamber that is 6.5 m long and 2.1 m wide, reaching 2.1 m in height, with the wooden coffin at its center. A total of 11,526 artifacts were discovered within the tomb, including Cheonmado, an artwork considered highly valuable as it is Korea's first artwork to be excavated frosm an ancient tomb.
