Day 1 : Phnom Penh Arrival
Pick up from the airport and transfer to the hotel check in. Free leisure.Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 2 : Phnom Penh
Breakfast at the hotel. Start your visit to Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda and National Musuem. Afternoon, visiting Genocidal musuem, Toulsleng, also known as S21 and the killing field of Choueng Ek. Today you will complete your tours in Phnom Penh with a last visit to Russian market. Overnight at hotel in Phnom Penh.
Day 3 : Phnom Penh - Kratie
Breakfast at the hotel. Travel by car from Phnom Penh to Kratie. Kratie, a little town at the edge of Mekong. To go from Phnom Penh, the best way is by boat and to leave for a journey from 5 to 6 hours among which a big part on the Mekong river, to arrive in this town at the edge of the river. Very beautiful landscapes crossed during the journey. Kratie is famous for its Dolphins Irrawaddy, whose about sixty specimens there is. The road which follows the river is lined with traditional Khmers houses rather old, and to walk is there very pleasant. Overnight at hotel in Kratie.
Day 4 : Kratie - Rattankiri
Breakfast at the hotel. Leave this morning by car from Kratie and proceed to Banlung. Banlung City is the provincial capital of Ratanakiri Province in Cambodia’s mountainous northeastern corner. Heavily jungled and home to 12 different ‘Khmer Loeu’ ethnic minority groups, Ratanakiri province has a real edge-of-the-world feel to it. Afternoon at leisure to explore the town on your own.Overnight at hotel in Balung.
Day 5 : Rattankiri
Today, proceed to visit the local market at Bar Kaev and continue on for sightseeing around Banlung taking a trip to Andoung Meas (Golden wells) district, continue by boat to Taing Se commune along Sre San river. Visit Charay hill tribe, gem mines and digging wells at Bar Kaev and on the way back, visit rubber and coffee plantations. Overnight at hotel in Banlung.
Day 6 : Rattankiri
Proceed today for an excursion to Ta Vaeng and visit minority villages in the area. The people of these villages are known as Khmer Ioeu (upper Khmer). They number approximately 70,000 and the majority are located in the northeastern provinces such as Rattanakiri, Mondulkiri, Stung Treng, and Kratie. Groups include the Jorai, Tumpoun, Krung, Kra Chok and Kavet. Overnight at hotel in Balung.
Day 7 : Rattankiri
This morning, you will be taken for an excursion to Vuen Sai. Visit Ceal Rumplan (stone field) enroute and continue to Veun Sai district. Take a boat trip on Sre San river and stop at Kachoun village for a close look at the village life. Also visit Tumpoun village, Ou’lalay, Kavet, a minority Chinese village. At Banphang village, get the cotton yarn wish tied and get water spray from elders of the village, visit Norng Kabat forest, turn back to Banlung. Overnight at hotel in Banlung.
Day 8 : Rattankiri - Komppung Cham
Breakfast at the hotel. The same morning, you will be transferred to Kompung Cham following the same route to Phnom Penh. Before approaching Kompung Cham provincial capital, you will stop over and visit Rubber plantation on the way, then continue to the town. Overnight in Kompung Cham.
Day 9 : Komppung Cham - Kompung Thom
Breakfast at hotel. The same morning you will visit Wat Norkor followed by Phnom Prous and Phnom Srei on the way to Kompung Thom. Afternoon, Explore the remote temple of Kompung Thom called Sambo Prey Kub. Overnight at hotel in Kompung Thom.
Day 10 : Kompung Thom - Siem Reap
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to Siem Reap. On the way, stop at accient Naga Bridge for quick visit before proceeding your way to Siem Reap. Upon arrival, check in the hotel. Afternoon, take Tuk Tuk drive to visit the jungle covered temple of Ta Prohm is an incredible sight. There are enormous fig trees and gigantic creepers which embrace themselves in the stone foundations of the structure giving the impression of man’s creation being reclaimed by the powerful forces of nature, Preah Khan temple and other surrounded temples, then to Preah Rup until sunset. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Day 11 : Siem Reap
The sightseeing tour of Angkor area we spend a full day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins with the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century and covers an area of about 210 hectares. We stroll around this massive edifice, seeing the many galleries with colums, libraries, pavilions, courtyards and ponds full of water reflecting the towering temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.
Day 12 : Siem Reap
Morning we will visit the enchanting Banteay Srei. It appears that the temple was designed to leave no space undecorated, and the fine carvings in pink sandstone are unique. We will continue after by car to a little chain of hills. After one hour, we will arrive in a place near Kbal Spien and continue our journey on foot, following a white sand path which heads up into the jungle. This very pleasant walk takes us through the beautiful forest. Please note that there are several narrow and steep passages on the way. After approximately 40 minutes walk, we will hear the sound of a waterfall. We will discover that the riverbed and the rocks around us are covered with carvings representing the gods of the Brahma religion dating back as far as the 11th century, its the “thousand Lingas Rivers”. The water runs over the sculptures of Vishnu, Lakshmi, Hanuman, Rama and many Lingas, which were carved in stone in the past to sanctify the water and to thank the gods for their gift. After this visit, we will go to Banteay Samre, with elaborate architecture and exceptional carvings, and we will visit of a local village. and visit of Baray Oriental sites, built by Rajendravarman : Banteay Kdey, Pré Rup, Preasat Khleang, Mébon Oriental. When we return , visit of an actual Pagodae-Monastry, where young Monks are studying.
Day 13 : Siem Reap - Departure
Breakfast at the hotel.drive to Choueng Kneas village, where you will take the boat to visit the way of life Cambodian poor people along with schools, restaurants, hospitals and much more floating on the great lake of Tonle sap. Transfer to the airport for flight departure.
