Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive

  On arrival at Cape Town International Airport, you will be met by a representative of Private Safaris who will hand you your vouchers for your accommodation and tours. You will be transferred to the 5 star Hilton Hotel or Winchester Mansions (depending on package purchase). Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

• Day 2 : You will be transferred to Franschoek for the Wine Tram Excursion

  A combination of tram and tram - bus will transport you around a loop of seven stops to hop off at each stop and experience the activities on offer, be it wine tasting, a cellar tour, lunch or simply stroll through the vineyards.You will be transferred back to your hotel later the afternoon.

• Day 3 : Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour

  After breakfast, depart on a scheduled Full Day Cape Peninsula Tour.
  
  
  
  Bring your camera - we're heading for Cape Point at the south western tip of the Cape Peninsula with the most spectacular views in the world. The drive is just as inspiring, passing steep mountains, secluded coves and sweeping beaches.The Cape Nature Reserve, comprising over 17,300 acres of indigenous fauna and flora. Here you will see a variety of wildlife that includes baboons, rhebok, Cape Mountain zebra and the elusive eland.
  
  
  
  The majestic coastline offers drama worthy of being called "Nature's Greatest Show". Witness the union of the Indian and Atlantic Oceans.
  
  
  
  Following the coastline, you will return via the Penguin Colony at the Boulders beach (entry for your own account) and Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens for a short walking tour of the beautiful gardens.You will be transferred back to your hotel and spend the evening at your leisure.

• Day 4 : Afrogem

  After your breakfast, you will be collected at the hotel for a 45 minute tour of Afrogem, one of the leading jewellery manufacturers in South Africa.You will have the opportunity to see how smelted gold is transformed, watch craftsman set gems in the creation of elegant jewellery or purchase any quality jewellery. After the tour you will be transferred to the world renowned Table Mountain Cable Car Station for for the scenic trip up to the top of Table Mountain - one of the seven wonders of nature. On a clear day, you will be able to see Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years. After your descent, make your own way to your hotel. The return journey from the cable car station to your hotel (+- 15 minutes) is for your own account. Taxis are available at a cost of approximately AUD15. Spend the rest of your day at your leisure or visit the V&A Waterfront.

  After your breakfast, check out of your hotel. You will be transferred from your hotel to Cape Town International Airport for your onward flight.
