Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali to Chandratal Lake (130km Appx) :

  Manali(6325 feet) –> Rohtang Pass(13 100 feet) -> Gramphoo –> Chattru –> Battal (13 000 feet)
  Arrival at Manali in morning you will be received by us and Drive to our hotel freshen up , breakfast and rest for a while and drive to Batal from Manali over the Rohtang pass via the chandra river valley. After you cross the Rohtang Pass, the road to Batal is more like a dirt track with water crossings at some places ,at what they call paagal nala (mad stream). Getting out of it was a mini-adventure in itself.
  By way of habitation a few dhabas is all (well, almost, as there is a government outpost too) that is there to Batal. Chandra Dhaba and the chacha and chachi (uncle and auntie) who run it are legends in the area. It takes about six hours to Batal by road. Over night at Batal. At Batal pack ponies will be awaiting to join the trek.

• Day 2 : Batal to Chandratal- Lake of thr Moon 13 950 feet ( 11km trek )

  Early after morning breakfast ,we start our guided trek with our crew to THE MOON LAKE CHANDAR TAL its a pleasant five hours walk and the chander Tal appears. A majestic serene lake surrounded by mighty Himalayan peaks. A vast meadow, is the camping site in the bank opf the enchanting lake. During spring time, it is carpeted with hundred of alpine flowers. Camp overnight

• Day 3 : Kunzum-la – Batal – Rohtangpass – Manali - Delhi

  Sunrise at Lake side is must watch for travellers. Saying Good morning at 13 950 feet is really awesome feeling, Early morning tea, freshen up and have a breakfast and hope on our traveller in just 02 km parking zone from the lake side. Drive back to Manali via Rohtaang pass, lunch is on the way and then proceed to your backward journey to Delhi.
