Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chandigarh to Manali (Approx. 8-10 hours)

  Morning (Departure): Start your journey from Chandigarh to Manali by private taxi or Volvo bus.
  Afternoon: Enjoy the scenic drive through the valleys and towns like Mandi and Kullu.
  Evening: Arrive in Manali and check into your hotel. Spend the evening relaxing and acclimatizing to the lower altitude.
  Night: Dinner and overnight stay in Manali.

  Morning: After an early breakfast, check out from your hotel and proceed towards Jispa.
  Drive through Solang Valley (if open and accessible) and enjoy the scenery.
  Cross the Atal Tunnel.
  Afternoon: Continue driving through the Lahaul Valley. Stop for lunch en route.
  Evening: Arrive in Jispa (around 3,200 meters or 10,500 feet) and check into your hotel/guesthouse. This stop is crucial for initial acclimatization before ascending further.

• Day 3 : Jispa to Leh via High Mountain Passes (Approx. 10-12 hours)

  Early Morning: Start your day very early for the long and challenging drive to Leh.
  Cross Baralacha La Pass (5,030 meters or 16,500 feet), Gata Loops, Nakee La Pass (4,739 meters or 15,547 feet), Lachung La Pass (5,079 meters or 16,663 feet), More Plains, and Tanglang La Pass (5,328 meters or 17,480 feet).
  Afternoon: Have a packed lunch or a quick stop at Pang.
  Evening: Arrive in Leh (around 3,500 meters or 11,480 feet) in the late evening and check into your hotel. Take it very easy upon arrival.
  Night: Light dinner and complete rest in Leh to aid acclimatization.

  Pathar Sahib Gurudwara: A Sikh shrine.
  Confluence of Indus and Zanskar Rivers: A scenic meeting point.
  Afternoon: Arrive in Kargil (around 2,676 meters / 8,780 feet), a town with historical significance. Check into a hotel. The lower altitude here might offer some relief.
  Night: Dinner and overnight stay in Kargil.
