These are mystical places in the Himalayas that are visited from left to right. Thus, the journey of Char Dham must be started from Yamunotri, then Gangotri, then Kedarnath and concluding the journey at Badrinath. Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Shiva in India which are considered to be the main places of worship of Lord Shiva.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Manali to Rorhu via sungri Rampur road (245 Kms, 6.5 Hrs)

  We travel from Manali to Rorhu via sungri Rampur road driving approximate 245 kms.

• Day 2 : Rorhu to Barkot via Theog - Hatkoti - Rohru Road (131 Kms, 3 Hrs)

  The Theog – Hatkoti road is one of the most important roads to the apple belt area and it carries about 70-80 per cent of state’s entire apple produce. Hill roads are narrow and the increasing number of vehicles has brought pressure on the limited driving space available on these roads.

• Day 3 : Barkot to Yamunotri (45 Km + 7 km trek)

  Early morning dip (bathing) in Holy Ganga and have blessings to start you journey for Chardham (Four Abodes OF God). After breakfast proceed to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie or Rishikesh. En route visit Sahastradhara, Robert’s Cave & Kempty fall. Upon arrival check in into the hotel, rest of the day is at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel at Barkot.

• Day 4 : Barkot – Janki Chatti - Yamunotri - Barkot (42 Kms & 5 Kms Trek) Each side

  Morning leave for Janki Chatti via Hanuman Chatti & Fool Chatti. On arrival Janki Chatti start Trek of 06 kms for Yamunotri, On Arrive Yamunotri Holi Dip in Garam Kund, than Pooja and Darshan of Shree Yamunotri Ji, after Darshan and Pooja, afternoon start trek back to Janki Chatti on arrival Janki Chatti meet with driver and drive back to Barkot.
  
  Overnight stay at Hotel.

• Day 5 : Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 Kms, 4 Hrs)

  Drive to Uttarkashi. Visit Vishwanath Temple & Others. Check in Hotel. Rest day at leisure. Night Halt. Uttarkashi - Uttarkashi is a small and beautiful town, situated between two rivers; Varuna and Ashi, whose water flow into the Bhagirathi from either side of the town. Elevated, at a height of 1588 meters, this little town is very similar to Kashi and Varanasi, in that it has the same kind of temples and ghats and likewise, a north or 'uttar' facing river.

• Day 6 : Uttarkashi – Ganganani – Gangotri – Harsil – Uttarkashi (120 Kms, 05 Hrs) round trip

  With packed breakfast & post Tea/ Coffee leave for Gangotri early in the morning. Offering prayers & pooja darshan, later drive back to Uttarkashi , en route visit Gangnani & Harsil.
  
  Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

• Day 7 : Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (197 Kms, 06 Hrs)

  The journey can be customized by adding the stop over for having food or may be staying overnight in case of long journeys. The distance and travel time would change accordingly and also per the traffic and road conditions.

• Day 8 : Guptkashi to Sitapur ( 27kms)

  Leave very early in the morning with packed breakfast for almost day long drive to Sitapur via Guptkashi. On your drive you would pass through Ganga giving way to Tehri Dam (The Hydro Electric Project). O
  
  Overnight stay in the hotel at Sitapur/Guptkashi.

• Day 9 : Sitapur – Gaurikund – Kedarnath Ji (19 Kms Trek One Side, 6-7 Hrs)

  Morning drive to Sonprayag -Gaurikund (03 kms drive-one way). On arrival Gaurikund start your journey on the tough trek ahead. On arrival Kedarnath freshening up, perform Pooja and also Darshan at Shri Kedarnathji. This evening we are staying in Kedarnath Ji in govt provided camps or huts.
  Amidst the dramatic mountains capes of the majestic Kedarnath range stands one of the twelve 'Jyotirlingas' of Kedar or Lord Shiva. Lying at an altitude of 3584 mts. on the head of river Mandakini, the shrine of Kedarnath is amongst the holiest pilgrimages for the Hindus.

• Day 10 : Kedarnath – Sitapur or Guptkashi

  Early Morning after darshan of Kedarnath Ji we are trekking back to Sitapur and further we have this day leisure for relax for those who have trekked Kedarnath Ji yesterday. Next day we can proceed to Shri Badrinath Ji Yatra Via Chopta.
  
  Overnight stay at Sitapur or Guptkashi.

• Day 11 : Sitapur / Chopta – Badrinath (220 Kms, 07/08 Hrs)

  Morning after breakfast proceed to Badrinath via Joshimath, (Narsimha Temple, Sankaracharaya Math) Badrinath. Evening Darshan & Pooja at Badrinath temple.
  
  Overnight stay at Badrinath.

• Day 12 : Badrinath – Joshimath – Rudraprayag (170 Kms, 06 Hrs)

  Early morning, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakapal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the Mukh of the Saraswati River.
  
  Just within the three kms of Badrinathjee. Joshimath is situated on the slopes above the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga. Of the four Maths established by Adi Shankaracharya, Joshimath is the winter seat of Badrinath.

  • Hotspots : Auli

• Day 13 : Rudraprayag – Devprayag – Rishikesh – Haridwar (140 Kms, 05 Hrs)

  After breakfast drive to Haridwar en-route visit Deoprayag , Rishikesh (Ram Jhula & Laxman Jhula, Gita Mandir). After sightseeing proceed to Haridwar. Attend evening Aarti at Har-Ki-Pouri at Haridwar.
  
  Overnight stay in Haridwar.

• Day 14 : Departure from Haridwar

  Arrive Haridwar and we now go to sight seen.
