Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Day 1: Haridwar to Barkot (205 Km/ 7 to 8 hrs)

  Depart from Haridwar in the morning and drive to Barkot, a scenic town located at the foothills of Yamunotri. Enroute, visit the mesmerizing Kempt Falls in Mussoorie. Upon reaching Barkot, check-in to your hotel or camp. Spend the rest of the day at leisure, relaxing and preparing for the spiritual journey ahead. Enjoy a delicious dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay in Barkot.

• Day 2 : Day 2: Barkot to Yamunotri and back to Barkot (48 Km/ 2 hrs & 5 Km trek each side)

  After breakfast, proceed to Hanumanchatti and then to Janki Chatti, the starting point of your trek to Yamunotri. You have the option to hire a Doli (palanquin) or a horse to assist you in the 5 km trek (additional cost). Trek through lush green valleys, coniferous forests, and vibrant Himalayan shrubs. Reach Yamunotri, the westernmost shrine of the Char Dhams, situated at an altitude of 3,291 meters. Take a holy dip in the Yamuna River, perform Pooja (prayers), and seek blessings. Return to Barkot and relax at your hotel or camp. Enjoy dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Day 3: Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 Km/ 4 hrs Journey)

  After breakfast, check out from your Barkot hotel and drive to Uttarkashi. Located on the banks of the Bhagirathi River, Uttarkashi is renowned for its historical monuments, temples, and ashrams. On arrival, check-in to your hotel and visit the famous Vishwanath Temple. Enjoy dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

• Day 4 : Day 4: Uttarkashi to Gangotri and back to Uttarkashi (100 Km/ 3 to 4 hrs each side)

  Have an early morning breakfast and proceed to Gangotri, a sacred town nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas. Take a holy dip in the Bhagirathi River, which is known as the Ganges at its origin. Visit the Gangotri Temple, dedicated to Goddess Ganga. Marvel at the 18th-century temple’s architecture and the sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshiped Lord Shiva. After seeking blessings and experiencing the divine aura, return to Uttarkashi. Enjoy dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

• Day 5 : Day 5: Uttarkashi to Guptkashi/Sitapur (190 Km/ 8 to 9 hrs)

  After an early morning breakfast, check out from your hotel and drive to Guptkashi/Sitapur. On arrival, check-in to your hotel or camp. The rest of the day is free for you to explore Guptkashi/Sitapur and immerse yourself in the serene surroundings. Enjoy dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay in Guptkashi/Sitapur.

• Day 6 : Day 6: Guptkashi/Sitapur to Kedarnath (30 Km + 20 Km trek)

  Embark on an early morning journey after breakfast and proceed to Sonprayag. From there, commence your 21 km trek to the sacred destination of Kedarnath. During the trek, you have the option to hire a Doli or a horse at an additional cost. Upon reaching Kedarnath, check-in at the government camps/lodges for a comfortable stay. You may choose to spend the night in Kedarnath or return to Sonprayag based on your preferences and physical strength. Enjoy a delicious dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay at the government camps/ lodges.
  
  Important Note: For passengers opting for helicopter services, please note that the return to Sitapur or the hotel can be arranged on the same day. Our package includes a stay arrangement for three consecutive nights. However, any overnight stay in Kedarnath Ji is not included and will be directly payable by the passengers. We can assist with the arrangements for the stay in Kedarnath Ji upon request.
  
  As you trek through the sacred lands of Kedarnath, you will be accompanied by fellow pilgrims chanting “Jai Bholenath.” The mystical surroundings sometimes embrace the mountains with mist, which gradually lifts to unveil the awe-inspiring sight of a gleaming, snow-covered peak that seems to pierce the sky.

• Day 7 : Day 7: Kedarnath to Sitapur/Rampur (20 Km trek down and 5-10 Km hotel drive)

  Wake up before dawn and participate in the ‘Abhishek’ ceremony at the Kedarnath Temple. Afterward, start your return trek of 20 km from Kedarnath to Sonprayag. From Sonprayag, you will be transferred to your hotel in Sitapur/Rampur. Enjoy dinner and have a comfortable overnight stay in Sitapur/Rampur.

• Day 8 : Day 8: Sitapur/Rampur/Guptkashi to Badrinath via Joshimath (190 Km or 240 Km/ 8 to 9 hrs)

  Check out from your hotel after breakfast and embark on a picturesque drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Admire the stunning landscapes and reach Badrinath, a sacred town dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Visit the Badrinath Temple and take a dip in the Tapt Kund (Hot Spring) before entering the temple. Seek blessings and explore the surrounding sights like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the Saraswati River. Later, return to your hotel. Enjoy dinner and have a peaceful overnight stay in Badrinath.

• Day 9 : Day 9: Badrinath to Rishikesh via Rudraprayag (165 Km/ 5 to 6 hrs)

  Start your day with an early morning visit to the Badrinath Temple for Darshan. Afterward, drive to Rudraprayag, located at the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Mandakini. Continue your journey to Rishikesh, a spiritual city and the Yoga capital of the world. Explore the famous Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula. Finally, drive back to Haridwar and drop-off at the railway station for your departure.

• Helicopter Tickets to Kedarnath Ji: The cost of helicopter tickets to Kedarnath Ji is not included in the package. If you choose to travel by helicopter, the tickets will be at an additional cost.
• Accommodation and meals in Kedarnath Ji: The package does not include the cost of accommodation and meals in Kedarnath Ji. You will be required to make direct payments for these expenses.
• International or Domestic Air or Rail Tickets: The package cost does not cover the expenses for international or domestic air or rail tickets. You will need to arrange these tickets separately.
• Additional Meals and Personal Expenses: Any meals not mentioned in the package inclusions, along with expenses for table drinks, laundry, porter services, pony/palaki rides, tips, camera fees, ropeway charges, entrance fees, and personal health insurance, are not included in the package cost.
• Personal Expenses and Incidentals: Any personal expenses incurred during the trip, as well as any other expenses resulting from factors such as bad weather, road closures, landslides, or any other unforeseen circumstances, are not included in the package cost.

• Hotel check-in time is 2 PM and checkout time is 11 AM.
• If meals are included in the package, they will be served at a set menu basis in a buffet menu/fixed/meal credit.
• Any items which are not in their ideal buffet/fixed menu will be charged extra at the time of consumption.
• Hotels decide the menu and options of items for the menu.
• Some hotels have meal credit policy instead of buffet or fixed menu during low occupancy in hotel – This meal credit amount is decided by hotel management – if bills goes above the given meal credit amount then extra amount should be paid directly at respective hotel.
• Room service for the food or packing is charged extra at many hotels.
• Normally in Chardham you will get north Indian type food only and most of the standard and deluxe hotels give thali if meals are included in the package.
• Breakfast timing is 7 AM to 9 AM and dinner timing is 7 PM to 10 PM.
• Normally for extra bed on double sharing rooms many hotels have rollaway bed while rest of the hotels provide extra mattress only.
• In hill areas or Chardham many hotels don’t have AC so if you insist AC only kindly confirm with the company regarding the same.
• Lift facility & power back up is not available in most of the hotels in Chardham.
• Wifi facility and room heater is mostly chargeable but don’t expect good wifi in Chardham hotels due to network issues most of the time.
• Most of the hotels in Chardham are not running full year so don’t expect similar service and room quality like you get in Haridwar-Rishikesh in the same price range.
• Especially in May-June and other busy days the budget/standard hotels in Chardham can cost more than deluxe hotel in Haridwar-Rishikesh or Delhi.
• Also if you want to stay good hotels with good reviews you need to book at least 3 months before in May-June and 1-2 month before in Oct-Nov season as good hotels are mostly booked in advance by groups.
• In Kedarnath there is only basic dharamshala/budget hotel type basic facility only even if your package is luxury in Kedarnath don’t expect even deluxe rooms.
