Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Dehradun - Yamunotri

  07:00 am Departure Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun
  
  07:45 am Arrival Kharsali helipad , Yamunotri Passengers are supposed to reach state government helipad on Sahastradhara Road , Dehradun which is the starting and ending point of this yatra. Our pilots and ground staff will brief the passengers about the entire trip and do’s and don’ts. Upon arrival at Kharsali (The helipad for Yamunotri) passengers are welcomed by Heritage Aviation (HA), ground staff, who will unload your baggage and carry them to your hotel Shiv Shakti Eco Resort which is 10 min walk from the helipad.
  
  You will then be carried by palkis to Yamunotri temple. This trek from helipad to temple is 5.5kms and return trip by palki takes about 5.5 hours. Normally passengers return to the helipad by lunch time . Have lunch in the resort and go for nearby ancient shani temple visit during evening.

• Day 2 : Yamunotri - Gangotri

  08:30 am Arrival Harsil Helipad Harsil is one of the most beautiful and picturesque valleys in Uttarakhand. Some people also call it mini Switzerland . Gangotri temple is about 22 kms from Harsil helipad and the drive by car takes 50 minutes. The resort ( Himalayan Nature Resort ) is about 2kms from the helipad . It is advisable that passengers leave straight for temple from helipad . Our ground staff will assist the passengers with darshan at Gangotri temple.
  
  After return from temple passengers can take lunch in resort and thereafter relax and have campfire in the evening. It is recommended to visit the nearby village for a evening walk and buy pure wool stuff ( sweaters , shawls n muflers ) made by local tribal womenfolk.

• Day 3 : Gangotri - Kedarnath

  09:00 am Departure Harsil helipad 10:00 am Arrival Kedarnath helipad
  The helicopter will land at Kedarnath helipad which is at a distance of 500 meters from the temple . The walk from helipad to temple takes about 20 minutes for a normal person . Since there is no nighthalt facility at Kedarnath passengers are advised to take darshan quickly and return to helipad. Night halt will be at Guptkashi/Sitapur . Passengers can visit ancient Triyuginarayan temple in evening for sightseeing.
  
  Due to massive floods in Kedarnath area last year , the entire region is yet to completely recover from the tragedy . Government of Uttarakhand and district administration of Rudra Prayag has made it mandatory for all passengers visiting Kedarnath to undergo biometric registration and health checkups . It is possible that passengers may face some delays at Kedarnath on account of regulations imposed by state government and district administration , however we will try our best to ensure that it does not lead to any inconvenience to passengers.

• Day 4 : Kedarnath - Badrinath

  11:00 am Arrival Badrinath helipad
  
  After arrival at Badrinath helipad passengers can check in in Hotel Sarovar Portico which is very close to the temple . Our ground staff will assist the passengers in taking darshan at the temple . A visiting to Mana village in evening is highly recommended as this is the last village before international border with China . The Special Abhishek Puja at Badrinath temple is the highlight of this entire yatra . It starts sharp at 4.30 am in the morning and lasts for 2 hours . Passengers will get an opportunity to sit inside the temple and have darshan of the shringar of the deity from very close quarters.
