Chardham Yatra Fixed Departure Tour 2018
- Chardham is a religious route in the Himalaya region of Uttarakhand, which passes through popular holy places of Hinduism that are; Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath.
- Every year millions of devotees pay homage to these holy places in aspiration to eliminate all sins so that salvation can be attained with the blessing of Lord.
- While covering 10 to 11 days Chardham Yatra, devotees come across picturesque enclosures, dense woods, lush-green & lofty mountains, fresh air and peaceful atmosphere, which provide an opportunity to revive all senses.

DEPARTURE/RETURN LOCATION - Haridwar / Rishikesh – Haridwar
DEPARTURE TIME - Please arrive by 8:00 AM for a prompt departure at 8:30 AM.
RETURN TIME - Approximately 7:30 PM.
WEAR - Comfortable athletic clothing, hiking boots, hat, jacket, and sunscreen.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Hardwar (Gateway to God and starting point of North Char Dham Yatra)

  You are welcome to the city of Hardwar, get checked in to your selected hotel at your own, relax or be the part of Ganga Aarti at the ghat of Hari Ki Pauri. This night you are staying at hotel in Haridwar. Fixed Departures team personal will meet you at your hotel at 08:00 p.m for complete briefing of the tour.
  
  (Note: There are options to reach Haridwar by road, train & by air (Jolly Grant airport, Dehradun – 38 kms, Delhi by surface 230 kms).
  
  (Note : Haridwar Hotel is not Included In Ex – Haridwar Package)

• Day 2 : Haridwar / Rishikesh / Dehradun - Barkot / Syanna Chatti / Janki Chatti (210kms/7 - 8hr) HT : 1352 M

  We will provide early breakfast at 07:00 am, depart from your hotel at 07:30, bow down at Satya Narayan temple to start the Yatra later directed to Rishikesh for registration formalities. You ae directed to Lakha Mandal to visit self emerging Shivlinga’s and was Lakshagrah during Pandavas time. Lunch at Nainbagh (at your own). You are staying at Badkot or Syannachatti or Janki Chatti this night in hotel/Tents. Dinner will be served at 07:30 p.m, relaxed and pack your knapsack for next day journey to visit Yamuna Ji.
  
  Lakahamandal - an Archaeological Survey of India protected site (about 5 kilometers from the main road). Further on, visit the ancient temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.
  
  Barkot is a beautiful town nestled in the Rawain Valley of Uttarkashi District on the banks of the Yamuna. The locals of Rawain are very warm and friendly, though they have been cut off from the rest of Garhwal due to its remote location. Their culture is similar yet distinct from the rest of Garhwal; and it is this that makes this area exceptionally interesting. This tour is a great chance to meet the locals, share a meal with them, and learn a thing or two about their culture and heritage. You can take in stunning views of the Banderpunch Range and the little villages speckled on the lower reaches of the surrounding hills. The town is en route to the Yamunotridham.
  Weather - Generally pleasant in summer, the temperature ranges from 25 - 30 degree Celsius, Winter: The Days are pleasantly cool but the nights are cold, temp ranges from 10 deg to 05 deg.
  
  Sightseeing: Today you are visiting Satyanarayan temple, Vikasnagar/Mussoorie, Lakhamandal
  
  (Note: Pls prepare a small knapsack for next day excursion to Yamunotri carrying one woollen cloth/Jacket & personal belongings if likes to have dip at hot water pond or at Yamuna river. The trek of 6 kms is steep & strenuous too, pls make sure you are wearing sturdy walking shoes preferably water proof, rain coat and walking stick (danda type stick is available at Janki Chatti too. It is suggestible to drink more water to have more oxygen in body which make you easily acclimatize with altitude. Pony/Palki are also available at Janki Chatti if likes to avoid the trek)

• Day 3 : Badkot/Syanna/Janki Chatti - Yamunotri - Barkot {36kms drive & 6kms Trek (one side)} HT : 3235 MTS.

  After breakfast, set out on a morning drive about 20 kms up to Jankichatti. Further on, travel approx. 6 km on foot for trek/Pony/Doli to Yamunotri. Here you can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the kund (hot water spring).

• Day 4 : Barkot - Uttarkashi (120kms/5hr) HT :1352 MTS.

  Meditation/Yoga session at morning (at your own) and the time at leisure till late breakfast, at 09:00 a.m drive to Uttar kashi (Kashi of North)and a centre of NIM (Nehru Institute of Mountaineering) Nag Devta temple & cave another attraction enroute.

• Day 5 : Uttarkashi/Harsil - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms/3 - 4 each side) HT : 3048 MTS.

  Early morning drive to Gangotri, enroute at Gangnani take a holy dip in Garam Kund, further drive to Gangotri via beautiful Harsil Valley. Harsil is famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees, and mountains.

• Day 6 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi / Rampur /Sitapur / Gaurikund (220kms/8 - 9hr) HT : 1319 MTS.

  Drive straight to Guptkashi via Moolgarh & Lambgoan. Enroute you can see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. The Mandakini river comes from Kedarnath, drive alongside the river to reach Guptakashi. On arrival check in at the Hotel/Tents/Huts/Cottage.

• Day 7 : Guptkashi/Sitapur - Gaurikund - Kedarnath (30kms by road & 18kms Trek) HT : 3384 MTS.

  Before Sunrise, we drive to Gaurikund, to start trek start to Kedarnath Ji on foot /Pony / Doli. Pilgrims should carry personal medicines, heavy woolen, toiletries and clothes for an overnight halt at Kedarnath.

• Day 8 : Kedarnath - Guptkashi - Chopta (18 Kms Down Trek & 80kms by Road) HT : 2680 MTS.

  05:00 am is the time to reach for morning general darshan however people has booked Rudrabhishek may get early darshan, after puja and breakfast trek down to Gaurikund, your driver will meet you at Soneprayag for further drive to Chopta/Mandal.

• Day 9 : Chopta - Joshimath - Badrinath (160kms/6hr) HT : 3133 MTS.

  After leisure breakfast, start journey to one of India’s Char Dham Badrinath via Chamoli - Pipalkoti and Joshimath. Bow your head at Pandukeshwar for Yog dhyan Badri and at fampous Hanuman Chatti.

• Day 10 : Badrinath - Joshimath (44kms/2hr) / Pipalkoti (79 kms/3hr)

  Pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Those interested to do Pind Daan at Brahamakapal to their ancestors (Pitrus) is worth to do at this Pavan Puri of Vishnu.

• Day 11 : Joshimath - Nandprayag - Devprayag - Rishikesh / Haridwar (280kms/9hr)

  To sum up start drive to Haridwar enroute visit Nandprayag, Karanprayag Rishikesh Sight Seeing. Later transfer to Haridwar Railway Station.
