Day 1 : Delhi – Haridwar (220kms/5-6Hrs)
Arrival Delhi Railway Station/Airport, Meet & Assist further drive to Haridwar. On arrival Haridwar transfer to your Hotel. Visit Har-ki-Pauri for Ganga Aarti in evening. Back to your hotel. O/N Haridwar.
An Evening at Ganga aarti Haridwar:
The Ganga Aarti in Hardwar’s Har-ki-Pauri is one of the famous rituals in India. It starts at around 6.30pm after sunset, with large crowds gathered around both the banks of a canal that carries the waters of Ganges. Loud speakers blare songs in praise of Ganga Maiya and Shiva. The time of Aarti sees a bustle of activity on the ghats A pack of diya comes fully equipped and is self-sufficient! It has a wick lamp surrounded by flowers It lasted for around 30 min.
Day 2 : Haridwar - Barkot (215kms/7Hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Barkot via Dehradun & Mussoorie. Enroute visit Kempty Fall and later continue drive to Barkot, Check in Hotel. O/N Barkot.
Day 3 : Barkot - Yamunotri - Barkot (42kms Drive/5 kms Trek)
Morning after breakfast drive to JankiChatti, trek start from here to Yamunotri (5kms). Either by walk or by horse or by Doli at own cost. Arrival Yamunotri, One can cook rice by packing it in a cloth and dipping it in the hot water of the hot kund. Pilgrims take this cooked rice home as "Prasad". Here near the temple "Pooja" can be offered to Divya Shila, after taking bath in Jamunabai Kund's warn water and having "Darshan" of pious "Yamunaji" returning to Jankichatti. Later drive back to Barkot. O/N Barkot.
Hanuman Chatti:
The confluence of Hanuman Ganga & Yamuna River.
Yamunotri Temple: Maharani Gularia of Jaipur built the temple in the 19th Century. It was destroyed twice in the present century and rebuilt again.
Surya Kund : There are a Number of thermal springs in the vicinity of the temple, which flows intonumerous pools. The most important of these is Surya Kund.
Divya Shila: A rock pillar, worshipped before entering the Yamunotri Temple.
Yamunotri- Yamunotri is situated in the western region of the Garhwal Himalayas and is at a height of 3,235 meters above sea level. Yamunotri is the source of the river Yamuna.The shrine of Yamunotri is located on the Bandar Poonch peak.
Day 4 : Barkot - Uttarkashi (82 kms/4Hrs)
Morning after breakfast drive to Uttarkash. En-route visit Prakateshwar Cave, on arrival Uttarkashi check in Hotel, Later visit Vishwanath Temple. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi hotel.
Uttarkashi: Situated at the bank of river Bhagirathi. The temple of Lord Vishwanath is located here where a massive iron trident is erected. The other important temples situated here are Ekadash Rudra, Bhairav, Gyaneshwar and Goddess Kuteti Devi.
Day 5 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (100kms per way)
Morning after breakfast proceed to Gangotri (3048 mts), enroute we enjoy picturesque Harsil village, Bhagirathi River and the most magnificent view of the Himalayas. On arrival Gangotri take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges, also called Bhagirathi at its origin. After Gangotri Darshan & Pooja drive back to Uttarkashi. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi hotel.
Gangotri- Gangotri is the place high in the Garhwal Himalayas from where the holy Ganges originates. According to the legend, it was here the Ganga descended on the earth, when Lord Shiva released the mighty river from the locks of his hair. The temple of Gangotri, dedicated to Goddess Ganga stands on the bank of the river.
Day 6 : Uttarkashi – Sitapur/Guptkashi (240 kms/8Hrs)
Early morning, after breakfast drive to Sitapur/Guptkashi enroute visit Tehri Dam. Check in Hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at Camp/Hotel.
Day 7 : Sitapur/ Guptkashi - Kedarnath (By Helicopter/ By Pony/ By Walk)
Morning after breakfast drive to Kedarnath JI, reach Kedarnath by helicopter/ Pony/Walk etc. which is available visit Kedarnath ji Temple & perform Pooja. In the evening also visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi behind the Temple. Overnight stay at Camp/Hotel.
Day 8 : Kedarnath - Sitapur / Guptkashi
surrounded by lofty snow Covered peaks. The temple of Kedarnath, located at a height of 3,581 mts, stand at the head of the Mandakini river. The present temple, built in the 8th century by Adi Shankaracharya, stands adjacent to the site of an earlier temple built by the Pandavas. The inner walls of the assembly hall are decorated with figures of various deities and scenes from mythology. Outside the temple door a large statue of the Nandi Bull stands as guard. It is said that devotees who die here become one with Shiva himself.
Day 9 : Sitapur/ Guptkashi - Badrinath (230kms/200kms)
Morning after breakfast drive to Badrinath via Joshimath. Enroute visit Narsingh Bhagwan Temple at Joshimath. Check in Hotel. Later at evening visit Badrinath Temple for Aarti. Overnight stay Badrinath hotel.
Narsingh Temple This is an ancient temple of Lord Vishnu in Narsingh Avtar and main temple of Joshimath. When Badrinath temple remain closed during winter every year, one idol of Lord Badri is brought to Narsingh temple and worshiped for six months.
Badrinath- Badrinath is one of the most important of all the four(Char) Dhams in India. This temple located between Nar & Narayan mountain ranges and in the shadow of Nilkantha peak at the height of 3,133 mts. It is the most popular of Vishnu pilgrimages among the five Badries, also known as Vishal Badri
Day 10 : Badrinath – Pipalkoti/Rudraprayag (85kms/160kms)
Early morning after breakfast, pilgrims after having a bath in the Taptkund have the Darshan of Badrivishal. Brahamakamal is significant for Pinddan Shraddh of ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spot like Mana, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund and the "Mukh" of the Saraswati River. Just within the 3 kms of Badrinath ji. Later drive to Pipalkoti/Rudraprayag. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Tapt Kund: Natural thermal springs on the bank of the river Alaknanda, where it is customary to bathe before entering the Badrinath temple.
Narad Kund: A recess in the river, near Tapt Kund, forming a pool from where the Badrinath idol was recovered.
Mata Murty Temple: Devoted to the mother of Sri Badrinathji. Other important temples include SeshNetra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka
Mana Village: Inhabited by an Indo-Mongolian tribe, it is the last Indian village before Tibet.
Bhim Pul: On the other side of Mana village, a massive rock forming a natural bridge lies over the roaring Saraswati River. It presents a spectacular view of water thundering down through the narrow passage under the rock and is believed to have been placed there by Bhim, the second eldest among the five Pandava brothers.
Vyas Gufa (cave): Near Mana Village, this is a rock-cave where Ved Vyas is believed to have composed the Mahabharata and the pauranic commentaries.
Rudraprayag: One of the holy prayag of five famous prayag of Uttarakhand. Confluence of River Alaknanda and Mandakini.
Day 11 : Pipalkoti/ Rudraprayag - Haridwar (245kms/165kms)
Early morning, after breakfast drive back to Haridwar, enroute visit LaxmanJhulla, Ramjhulla, etc. Check in Hotel. Overnight stay at Haridwar.
Day 12 : Haridwar - Delhi (220kms/5-6Hrs)
Morning, after breakfast check-out from hotel and drive back to Delhi. On arrival Delhi, transfer to Railway Station/Airport. TOUR ENDS WITH SWEET MEMORIES.
