Famous for its intricately carved temples and rock-cut caves, Mamallapuram or Mahabalipuram as it is famously known, is a historically important and well-loved tourist location situated on the Coromandel Coast along the Bay of Bengal, in the state of Tamil Nadu. Once the abode of the famous demon king Mahabali, Mahabalipuram was later renamed Mamallapuram. The serenity, the alluring atmosphere and the impressive setting with many beautiful white sandy beaches dotted with casuarina trees are all reasons as to why one would want to visit this wonderful town. Some famous tourist spots include the UNESCO world heritage site Group of Monuments like the Shore Temple and the Five Rathas, the Crocodile Bank which is home to some exquisite species of crocodiles and alligators, and the beach resorts in Kovalam and Sadras.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai to Pondicherry -Via Mahbalipuram.( 4 Hours Travel)

  Welcome Arrival at Chennai Airport/Railway Station. Meet our representative and proceed for for Pondicherry. On the way Mahabalipuram Sightseeing Visit to Seashore temple, Arjunar Penance, five rathas, Butter ball. After visit start to drive Pondicherry. Check in to hotel and rest. Night Stay at Pondicherry.

• Day 2 : Pondicherry Sightseeing

  Today Morning after Breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed for Pondicherry Sight Seeing. Visit to Auroville Matrimandir, Pondi Beach, Museum, Aurobindo Ashramam, Manakula Vinayagar temple and Chunnambur Backwater. In the evening, take Volvo Bus for Rameswaram.

• Day 3 : Rameshwaram sightseeing Stay

  Morning arrival at Rameswaram. Check into hotel. Early Morning bath to Agni theertham – Sea (Kadal), after Sea bath 22 Holy theertham, Bath to Ramanatha Swami temple inside after holy bath dhrasan to ramanatha swami temple, Parvathavarthini Amman temple after dharsan go to Breakfast at hotel after breakfast check out from the hotel visit to Ramar patham, Kothandaramar temple, Dhanus Kodi, Pamban Bridge. Night Stay at Rameshwaram.

• Day 4 : Rameshwaram – Kanyakumari Sightseeing (5 Hours Travel)

  Today Morning after breakfast, check out from hotel and proceed for Kanyakumari. After 5 hour drive, arrive at kanyakumari. Check into hotel. After refreshment , proceed for local sightseeing. Visit Triveni Sangamam. Later watch the beautiful Sunset of Kanyakumari. Overnight Stay at Kanyakumari.

• Day 5 : Kanyakumari -Kovalam – Trivandrum

  Morning first watch the beautiful SUNRISE of Kanyakumari. Later return to hotel and after Breakfast at Hotel, Checkout from the hotel. Later visit to Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar statue, Devi Kanyakumari temple and Beach. After visit proceed to Kovalam and Trivandrum. En route visit the beautiful beaches of Kovalam. Kovalam Sightseeing Places: Neyyar Dam, Backwaters, Hawa Beach, Lighthouse Beach, Samudra Beach. Trivandrum Sightseeing Places: Sri Padmanabhaswamy Temple, Napier Museum, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Zoo at Trivandrum.
  Later visit Trivandrum. Visit Sri padmanabh Swamy. Night stay at Trivandrum.

Overnight stay at the Hotel in MADURAI.
