Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Chennai Arrival - Tirupati (150 Kms / 03 Hrs 30 Mins)

  On Arrival Pickup from Chennai Airport and Drive to Tirupati. Visit Tirumala Tirupati Balaji also got the name Kaliyuga Vaikuntham and Lord here is referred to as Kaliyuga Prathyaksha Daivam. The temple is also known by other names like Tirumala Temple, Tirupati Temple and Tirupati Balaji Temple. Lord Venkateswara is known by many other names: Balaji, Govinda and Srinivasa. Evening Visit Tiruchanoor Temple. Overnight Stay at Tirupati.

• Day 2 : Tirupati - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram (180 Kms / 05 Hrs 15 Mins)

  After Breakfast Checkout from the Hotel and Drive to Mahabalipuram. En route visit Kanchi Kamakshi Temple - One of the forms of Goddess Parvati. The Meenakshi Temple in Madurai, the Akilandeswari Temple in Thiruvanaikaval near Tiruchirappalli and this Kamakshi are the important centers of worship of Parvati, in the state of Tamil Nadu. The Temple was most probably built by the Pallava kings, whose capital was Kanchipuram.
  
  Kailasanathar Temple - Lord Shiva, and is known for its historical importance. The temple was built from 685-705AD by a Rajasimha ruler of the Pallava Dynasty. The structure contains 58 small shrines which are dedicated to various forms of Shiva.
  
  Later Drive to Mahabalipuram. Evening Visit Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penace & Five Ratha's. Mamallapuram, also known as Mahabalipuram, It is an ancient historic town and was a bustling seaport during the time of Periplus (1st century CE) and Ptolemy (140 CE), from where ancient Indian traders sailed to countries of South East Asia. By the 7th century it was a port city of the South Indian dynasty of the Pallavas. It has a group of sanctuaries carved out of rock in the 7th and 8th centuries: rathas (temples in the form of chariots), mandapas (cave sanctuaries), giant open-air rock reliefs such as the famous Descent of the Ganges, and the Shore Temple, with thousands of sculptures to the glory of Shiva. The Group of Monuments at Mahabalipuram has been classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight Stay at Mahabalipuram.

  After Breakfast Checkout from the Hotel Visit. Later Drive to Trichy. En route Evening Visit Jambukeswarar Temple & Ranganathaswamy Temple.
  
  Jambukeswarar Temple, Thiruvanaikaval – A famous Shiva temple in Tiruchirapalli (Trichy). The temple was built by Kocengannan (Kochenga Chola), one of the Early Cholas, around 1,800 years ago. It is located in the Srirangam Island, which has the famous Ranganathaswamy temple.Thiruvanaikal is one of the five major Shiva Temples of Tamil Nadu (Panchabhoota Sthalams) representing the Mahābhūta or five great elements; this temple represents the element of water, or neer in Tamil. The sanctum of Jambukeswara has an underground water stream and in spite of pumping water out, it is always filled with water.
  
  Ranganathaswamy Temple, Srirangam - The Sri Ranganathaswamy Temple or Thiruvarangam is a Hindu temple dedicated to Ranganatha, a reclining form of the Hindu deity Vishnu, Constructed in the Tamil style of architecture, this temple is glorified in the Thiviya Pirabandham, the early medieval Tamil literature canon of the Alvar saints from the 6th to 9th centuries AD and is counted among the 108 Divya Desams dedicated to Vishnu. Overnight Stay at Trichy.
• Day 4 : Trichy – Madurai (140 Kms / 02 Hrs 15 Mins)

  After Breakfast Checkout from the Hotel and Drive to Madurai. Visit Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple & Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal.
  
  Meenakshi Temple is a historic Hindu temple located on the southern bank of the Vaigai River in the temple city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, India. It is dedicated to Meenakshi, a form of Parvati, and her consort, Sundareswar, a form of Shiva. The temple forms the heart and lifeline of the 2,500-year-old city of Madurai. Evening Visit Tirumalai Nayak Mahal & Gandi Museum.

  After Breakfast Visit Ramanatha Swamy Temple, Agni Theertham, APJ Abdul Kalam's House, Pamban Bridge & Dhanushkodi (By Own).
  
  Rameswaram located on Pamban Island separated from mainland India by the Pamban channel and is about 40 kilometers from Mannar Island, Sri Lanka. It is situated in the Gulf of Mannar, at the very tip of the Indian peninsula. Pamban Island, also known as Rameswaram Island, is connected to mainland India by the Pamban Bridge. Rameswaram is the terminus of the railway line from Chennai and Madurai. Together with Varanasi, it is considered to be one of the holiest places in India to Hindus, and part of the Char Dham pilgrimage.
  
  It is said that this is the place from where the Hindu god Rama built a bridge across the sea to Lanka to rescue his wife Sita from her abductor Ravana. The Ramanathaswamy Temple, dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva, is located at the centre of the town and is closely associated with Rama. The temple, along with the town, is considered a holy pilgrimage site for both Shaivas and Vaishnavas.Overnight Stay at Rameswaram.

• Day 6 : Rameswaram - Suchindram – Kanyakumari (330 Kms / 06 Hrs 30 Mins)

  After Breakfast Checkout from the Hotel and Drive to Kanyakumari. Enroute Visit Suchindram Thanumalayan Temple. The Thanumalayan Temple is of importance to both Shaivaite and Vaishnavite sects of Hinduism, as the name Stanumalaya denotes Trimurtis; "Stanu" means Brahma; "Mal" means Vishnu; and the "Aya" means Siva. Evening Check into the Hotel. Overnight Stay at Kanyakumari.

• Day 7 : Kanyakumari Sightseeing – Trivandrum (100 Kms / 03 Hrs 20 Mins)

  After Sunrise Checkout the Hotel After Breakfast Visit Kanyakumari Local Sightseeing Gandhi Mandapam, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Thiruvalluvar Statue (By Ferry).

Padmanabaswamy Temple is built in an intricate fusion of the indigenous Kerala style and the Dravidian style (kovil) of architecture associated with the temples located in the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu, featuring high walls, and a 16th-century Gopuram. Sree Padmanabhaswamy is the tutelary deity of the royal family of Travancore.
  
  The Maharaja of Travancore Moolam Thirunal Rama Varma is the trustee of the temple. In line with the Temple Entry Proclamation, only those who profess the Hindu faith are permitted entry to the temple and devotees have to strictly follow the dress code.
  
  The name of the city of Thiruvananthapuram in Malayalam translates to "The City of Lord Ananta", referring to the deity of Padmanabhaswamy Temple.
