Popularly known as "Gateway to South India", it is well connected internationally and to other parts of India. Chennai boasts a rich historical legacy which lends an inexplicable charm to the city. The Portuguese arrived here in the 16th century and were followed by the Dutch, and East India Company. The British were able to establish their undisputed supremacy in the city and the Fort St George became the nucleus around which the British authority grew and expanded. In the 19th century, the city emerged as the seat of Madras presidency and today stands as a significant city of India. Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival at Chennai

  Meet on arrival at Chennai airport and transfer to hotel, lunch and proceed for half day city sight seeing. Visit Fort St. George- An edifice named after Saint George- patron saint of England during the times of English colonization over India, Vivekananda House- It houses the Ramakrishna Mission. Marina Beach- enjoy the sunset.

  • Hotspots : Marina Beach, Fort St. George

• Day 2 : Chennai

  Breakfast and proceed for full day sight seeing. Guindy National Park, Snake Park and Crocodile Park- A national park located within a city. MGR Film City- A thematic studio for film shooting. VGP Golden Beach- enjoy the sunset on the golden sand.

  • Hotspots : VGP Golden Beach, Snake Park, Film City, Guindy National Park

• Day 3 : Chennai

  After breakfast, check out and drop to airport. Tour ends.
