Day 1 : Arrive in Hanoi - City Tour - Cooking Class At Chezlinhlinh House
Upon your arrival at Noi Bai International Airport, your driver & guide will be ready to take you right to the Chezlinhlinh House – our sweet homestay in the downtown of Hanoi. Free time at your leisure.
In the afternoon, you would be taken out for highlight sites of this capital city: Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s very first university dated back in the 11th century; Ngoc Son temple built in the 18th century on Jade Island in the centre of the ‘Lake of the Returned Sword’ or Hoan Kiem Lake. Then you will be getting on a cyclo tour to discover the Old Quarter through the streets like a maze of small lanes and tiny houses.
Back to the homestay, the home host – Mrs Thuy will be waiting for you for dinner preparation with the special local dishes of north Vietnam, “nem”. With the support from Thuy, you will have chance to discover the subtleties of Vietnam culinary which is made and tasted by yourself.

Day 2 : Hanoi - Ngoc Ha Walking Tour
Breakfast served at the homestay.
8h30: your guide will take you out for a walking tour. The walk starts from Chezlinhlinh House through the zig-zag road inside the village to the gate of Dai Yen village – the neighbor village of Herbs. Each village ought to have a gate to control all of activities and it is also the area where they often set-up the market for all of its peoples. Here you could witness the sellers and buyer of vegetables, foods… as well as for breakfast. Continue trip to the center of Ngoc Ha flower village you will find how to find the road easily and the most interesting thing when you take a walk through the village is watching and experiencing the life of the local people. Most of the houses along the main path of the village are involved in some kind of business, and things are very busy any time of the day. Many of them are small restaurants, grocery stores, hairdresser’s shops, motorbike and bicycle repair shops or even kindergartens….. Just walk along the path, and you can really feel and see the way people live here. The people are very friendly and a little bit curious as there are not many tourists coming to this village. There will be lots of chances to interact with them on the walk as well.
At the end of the walk, there will be a surprise for you. In the middle of the lake named Huu Tiep, you can see the wreckage of a B52 that was shot down in the famous Christmas bombing of 1972. The wreckage is now a monument for the victory of Hanoi people in the famous 12 day battle called “Dien Bien Phu in the air”. Now the wreckage is lying peacefully in the middle of the lake as a famous vestige in the village.
Next to the lake is village communal house. As in all the other villages, it is the meeting place for the people on special occasions. From here, you can have a good view of the new and modern buildings in the village. Then we can take a walk back to Chezlinhlinh House.
Relax of your own then head to the Water Puppet Show in the city center. Overnight at the house.

Day 3 : Hanoi - Ninh Binh - Hoa Lu & Tam
After breakfast , start departing for Hoa Lu, former capital of Vietnam for 41 years under the dynasty Dinh and Le (between 968 and 980). Until now, there have still been two beautiful sanctuaries, dedicated to the Kings Le and Dinh, the first unifiers of the country. Aside from these shrines, the area is also worth a visit for its rolling hills and picturesque rocky landscapes.
Continue to Tam Coc with traditional boat ride on the river which takes you to the beautiful Tam Coc Caves (the 3 caves) under the high karst monoliths. For about 2 hours, a landscape calm and peaceful, unfolds right before your eyes. The you can be on short bike ride or walk to the Bich Dong pagodas built on a hillside. Overnight at hotel in Tam Coc.

Day 4 : Ninh Binh - Halong Bay
Morning
Your driver and guide would pick you up then take out on a 3.5 hour drive to the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Halong Bay. Then you would have 24 hours on a traditional style Vietnamese Junk Cruise which would set sail at noon and board your junk. Lunch with diversified fresh seafood would be served on board.
Afternoon
Aboard the cruise, you would take time to visit several highlight locations:
3 largest caves: Thien Cung, Dau Go, Sung Sot
Titop beach for swimming (weather permit) or being on the deck for sunbathing
Nearby summits where you can take short trekking to watch over the bay from the high.
Back on the junk, the stunning sunset time is on your view and a dinner awaits with cocktails available for purchase from the bar. Passing the night on your junk, the gentle rocking of calm waters will lull you to sleep.

Day 5 : Halong Bay - Hanoi
Morning
Waking up early in the calming sounds of waves crashing the nearby islands, you can enjoy a morning coffee and watch the sun rise on the top deck, or you may join Tai Chi Class if you wish to. You will continue sailing around the magnificent bay and even to Bai Tu Long, where the movie “Indochine" was filmed. Sitting on the upper deck and enjoy the breath-taking beauty of the rocky islands rising from the crystal-clear water of the bay. The brunch would be served while the junk starts cruising back.
Afternoon
Your cruise will end at noon (around 12:00 pm) and your driver will be waiting at the dock and ready to take you back to your homestay in Hanoi.

Day 6 : Hanoi - Fly to Hue
After breakfast at Chezlinhlinh, you will be transferred to the airport for your morning flight to Hue. Welcomed by your guide upon your arrival then move to the hotel. Free time for your rest or your own visits.
Afternoon, visit Thanh Toan Covered Bridge, over 200 years old, located in the village of Thanh Thuy which retains all the characteristics of a traditional Vietnamese village. Then visit the craft villages of Hue and Vong Canh Mountain, a beautiful landscape of Hue. Then visit the tomb of Emperor Minh Mang, an architectural ensemble of 40 monuments (palaces, pavilions, temples, etc.)

Day 7 : Hue Imperial City Tour - Thuy Bieu Village
Morning
Breakfast is served at the hotel then you may spend the entire day to explore Vietnam's former ancient capital.
Your guide and driver pick you up and transfer you to the wharf for your boat ride on the Perfume River. During the boat trip, you will stop to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda, a symbol of Hue - the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship. Then you go to visit the Imperial Citadel of Hue with the Purple Forbidden City - once the Emperor's private residence. You will be having lunch at a local restaurant.
The Hue Citadel is situated on the Northern bank of the Perfume River. It covers an area 500 ha and has a system of three circles of ramparts: Kinh Thanh Hue (Hue Capital Citadel), Hoang Thanh (Royal Citadel) and Tu Cam Thanh (Forbidden Citadel). The Hue royal complex has been officially recognized by the UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.
Afternoon
You may continue to visit the tomb monument of King Tu Duc which is located in a very special area. More than just a tomb visiting, it’s the great chance to learn more about Nguyen King and the landscape is spectacular. Back to hotel, dinner is on your own.

Day 8 : Hue - Danang - Hoian
Morning
Checking out in the morning, you would depart to Hoi An by private car with your guide. You may stop by Lang Co beach to have short break before crossing Hai Van Pass. At the height of 450 meters above sea level Hai Van pass is the high dividing line between the climate zones of north and south Vietnam.. Here you can enjoy the magnificent view of the central coast. The soft adventure drive over the 23 km long pass will add more highlights for this trip. Moving southwards passing Lang Co, there will be a lovely stretch of beach curving outwards between a clear blue lagoon and the South China Sea, and the large coastal city of Danang before arriving in Hoi An.
Visit Cham Museum at Danang: this houses probably the best collection of Cham art to be found anywhere in the world. There are more than 300 artifacts in the museum, many dating to the 4th century. There are beautiful sculptures reflecting the 1000 year Cham period.
Afternoon
Hoi An comes to your mind as the charming historic city known to early Western merchants, one of the major trading centers of Southeast Asia in the 16th century. Hoi An has a distinctive Chinese atmosphere with low, tiled-roof houses and narrow streets; the original structure of some of these streets is still virtually intact. Many of the houses were constructed of rare timbers and decorated with lacquer panels engraved with Chinese characters and pillars carved with ornamental designs.

Day 9 : Hoi An - Tra Que & Cam Thanh villages - Hoian cooking class
The morning begins with the bike ride to visit the vegetable village of Tra Que (located 5km - 20 minutes by bike from Hoi An). This village is renomed for its aromatic herbs, mint and basil in mind. Then take a walk around the vegetable garden and take part in the preparation and fertilization of the land with the local lake's algae: rake, sow, water the plants, and pick the green vegetables with the local farmers.
Continue biking along the De Vong River to the dock at Hoian Beach, boarding the boat and crossing the mouth of the Thu Bon River to reach the fishing village of Van Lang, located on the edge of a jungle of coconut trees. From there, you will have a good opportunity to practice fishing techniques and learn to roam, to throw fillets like a real fisherman.
Continue your boat trip to Cam Thanh village, territory of the water pmalmiers. You take the kouffa along the river to better discover this place. You will end your journey with a cooking class to learn how to prepare local cuisine specialties such as: Tam Huu Spring Rolls and Banh Xeo dish. Back to the hotel by bike. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12 : Hoi An - Fly to Saigon
Morning
Enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, your driver will transfer you to the Danang international airport. You will catch in-country flight to Ho Chi Minh city, commonly known as Saigon. It is the largest city in Vietnam and is located near the Mekong Delta.
Afternoon
Upon your arrival at Tan Son Nhat Airport, your driver and private guide will be ready to welcome you to our “non-sleeping city".You will be supported for check-in at the hotel from the mid-day. The rest of your day is on your own for the exploration of this Metropolitan City.

Day 13 : Saigon - Ben Tre
In the morning, start departing with the guide towards Ben Tre to go to the discovery of the Mekong Delta, formed by the nine arms of the feeder river.
Around 10am when you arrive in Ben Tre, you will board a local boat. This boat will take you on the river to see the daily activities of the locals. You will visit the brickyard, the old house and a family candy factory with coconut. You will enjoy these sweets, honey tea and seasonal fruits. The family workshop produces local products with coconut. Along Cai Son River, you will disembark at Nhon Thanh village where local families specialized in making mats. You finally arrive at the host family where you will spend the night.
Then, then moving through the coconut fields and orchards, you will return to the traditional house located in a coconut orchard where you will taste the delicacies of the Mekong Delta. After lunch, you will walk for about ten minutes to take the boat rowing.
Around 15h you will visit the tropical fruit market. Then, a bike ride or Xe Loi through small roads through the villages observing the cocoterais, rice fields, vegetable gardens. You finally arrive at the home of Mr. Sau Khanh, a famous antique collector. His house is full of special finds from Vietnam and other Asian countries. It also displays some family album with photos dating from the French colonial period. Back to the family home. After a little rest, prepare dinner with the owner. Overnight in the homestay.

Day 14 : Ben Tre - Can Tho
Breakfast at the homestay. Then visit the local bike market and Phu Nhuan temple where there is an old tree over 100 years old. Then, you take a boat trip on the Cai Coi canal towards the Hung Vuong pier. Arriving in Can Tho, you take time to visit the old house of Binh Thuy. Night in Can Tho.

Day 15 : Can Tho - Saigon Departure
Checking out of your hotel in the early morning, you start boarding out to visit Cai Rang floating market by an motorized boat. This is definitely the time for you to capture every single moments of life with the views of colorful boats laden with fruits and vegetables. You go to the lush orchards, the opportunity to taste the fresh fruit picked on the spot. There, you can even try passing one of many fragile monkey bridges along the canals. You will leave Can Tho and start moving back to Saigon (around 3.5 hour driving). The guide and driver will take you right to the airport for catching your home departure flight.
