Package Overview

Your chocolate workshop & wine tasting begins with a drive to the other side of the island of Hvar to the island’s most important wine region. Once you are picked up from Hvar town, travel to Jelsa where you’ll meet your professional chocolatier host.

This tour is a combination of chocolate workshop and wine tasting with chocolate pralines.

The chocolate workshop begins with a brief history of chocolate and it’s impact on health and some unique flavours – chocolate with Mediterranean herbs and fruits. You will make your own personalised chocolate by first tempering the chocolate, pouring liquid chocolate into molds, and then decorating your traditional Mediterranean chocolates with herbs and fruits, such as sage, lavender, carob, figs, honey… While your own chocolate creation is getting ready, you will have a chance to taste five different kinds of chocolates and pralines. Once shown how to decorate your chocolates, your own creations will be ready for you to take home nicely packed.

In the second part of this experience we will go in small town of Vrboska in one of the most famous Croatian winemakers, where you will have the opportunity to taste four different kinds of wines together with chocolates. The traditional Mediterranean flavours come alive once combined together.

As we return to Hvar town we will drive on an old road, which is paved with amazing views, through the green and rural island of Hvar. These views can be captivating.
