Tungnath is short and easy trek which runs parallel to the sky-scraping Himalayan Treks. Tunganath is the highest temple of Garhwal. During this hiking, one can enjoy clear view of majestic peaks of Panchchuli, Nanda Devi, Nilkanth and Kedarnath. Chopta gives a picturesque view of the Himalayas. In the early spring the Rhododendron forest glow red as the flowers bloom.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Haridwar

  Overnight train to Haridwar

• Day 2 : Haridwar - Sari

  Drive Haridwar - Sari and trek to Devariyatal

• Day 3 : Devariyatal - Chopta

  Trek Devariyatal - Chopta

• Day 4 : Chopta - Tungnath

  Trek Chopta - Tungnath (3680m), Chandrashilla Top (4130m) and back to Chopta

• Day 5 : Haridwar

  Drive from Chopta to Haridwar and take a train to New Delhi
