Package Overview

This incredible tour includes many great adventure activities whilst also allowing the freedom to tailor-make your perfect New Zealand adventure.
This 10 day guided New Zealand adventure tour follows the same route as our NZ Adrenalin trip, but has been designed to allow more freedom for the traveller.

We therefore start in Christchurch and finish in Queenstown, taking in Methven, Peel Forest, Lake Tekapo, Lake Wanaka, Mt Aspiring National Park, and Milford Sound in Fiordland along the way.

This trip allows for several free days in the itinerary where you can take it easy (something there isn't much of in the NZ Adrenalin trip!), or you can choose additional adventure and adrenalin activities as you go.

Our NZ Adventure and NZ Adrenalin tours run together in tandem for the full 10 days. This means that couples, friends and groups who have different appetites of adventure and adrenalin can tour together and each have the perfect customised adventure tour experience.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Methven

  After group introductions and trip briefing we head to Spencer Park for the awesome Adrenalin Forest. This progressive high ropes course has zip lines, Nepalese bridges, a giant swing and much more that takes you up to 23 metres high up into the pine forest.
  
  After lunch we head inland and to a secret hiking spot with great waterfalls and impressive views of the Canterbury Plains.
  
  Night 1 in Self Contained Studio in Methven

  • Meals & Drinks Lunch
• Day 2 : White Water Rafting

  Tour down through the Canterbury plains and to Peel Forest for a big day on the South Island's only Grade 5 White Water Rafting adventure trip. From here we drive into Mackenzie Country and to the stunning Lake Tekapo for an optional Air Safari of Mount Cook and Glaciers.
  
  Night 2 in Self Contained Studio in Lake Tekapo

• Day 3 : Visit the Incredible Lake Pukaki,

  Continuing South, we visit the incredible Lake Pukaki, view 'The cloud piercer' Mt Cook (3724m), and dive into the heart of New Zealand's Southern Lakes - prepare to be wowed!. After a lunch stop on the shores of Lake Wanaka we cross the fords to Mount Aspiring National Park and into the wilderness of the Matukituki Valley. From here we undertake a half day Return Hike to the Rob Roy Glacier.

• Day 4 : Full Day Rock Climb,

  Free day at Lake Wanaka. Choose to relax and enjoy this beautiful lake town, rent a kayak and go for a paddle, go for a hike or sign up for an additional Full Day Rock Climb, the choice is yours!
  
  Night 4 in Self Contained Studio Wanaka

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast, Lunch
• Day 5 : Heli - Biking Experience

  Today we leave Wanaka but not before having the opportunity for some additional awesome adventures. Available today is helicopter access into the mountains surrounding Queenstown for a half day Heli-Biking experience. This is the ultimate mountain bike experience and really showcases Queenstown and the mighty Wakatipu basin.
  
  For those without MTB experience we have an epic alternative at the private adventure playground of Oxbow. Get ready for a Jet Sprint, Off-Road and Heli combo that will blow your mind!
  
  Night 5 in Self Contained Studio Queenstown

• Day 6 : Queenstown

  There is no shortage of things to do in Queenstown, and you have this whole day free. This is adventure heaven and where all adrenalin highs can be found. There are also world class vineyards, and golf courses as well as Lord Of The Rings location tours and scenic helicopter flights. You guide will be on hand to help you manage your time here!
  
  Night 6 in Self Contained Studio Queenstown

• Day 7 : Te Anau

  Today we leave Queenstown, but it's not too late to face your fears and upgrade to an optional jump from either the legendary Kawarau Bungy Bridge, the world's first ever bungy site, or take on the mighty Nevis Swing, the world's highest swing!! After lunch we drive to Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park and your base for the next two nights.
  
  Night 7 in Self Contained Studio Te Anau

• Day 8 : Te Anau

  Drive deep into Fiordland to one of New Zealand's most amazing natural wonders for a Milford Sound Sea Kayaking adventure. Spectacular does not come close to describing both the Milford Road drive and Milford Sound itself. Prepare to be amazed.
  
  Night 8 in Self Contained Studio Te Anau

  • Meals & Drinks Breakfast, Lunch
• Day 9 : Queenstown

  We depart Fiordland and travel well off the beaten track to the impressive Mavora Lakes for some Cross Country and Down Hill Mountain Biking through to Walter Peak Station. Finish with the well earned TSS Earnslaw Steamboat Cruise back to Queenstown.

• Day 10 : Queenstown

  We finish off our tour Jet Boating through the Shotover Canyons. The jet boat is a great Kiwi invention that will see us screaming through the awesome Shotover Canyons whilst doing 360 degree spins and skimming the canyon walls! There will be free time in the afternoon to squeeze in any last additional adventures before we shout everyone a celebratory dinner.
