Tour glacial landscapes: tidewater glaciers, terminus valley glaciers, mountain glacier, cirque glaciers, rock glaciers, hanging glaciers, and retreating glaciers via train, boat, helicopter, foot, and raft. This is the ultimate glacier viewing package that you’ll never forget. There is no better way to explore the Chugach and to get up close to glaciers than on this package.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 :

  A true Alaskan full day adventure. Jump on the AK Railroad – Coastal Classic Train early in the morning in Anchorage, and ride to Girdwood where you will be picked up and taken to the Alpine Air hanger. From there, get lifted up into the beautiful Alpine of the Chugach National Forest in an Alpine Air R44 Helicopter. View Cirque Glaciers, Hanging Glaciers, Rock Glaciers, Retreating Mountain Glaciers & more. Land 2,000 feet high next to Comet Glacier & hike your way downhill to Spencer Glacier Lake for a Rafting Iceberg Tour. Then, hop on the Glacier Discovery Train for your return to Girdwood, and your first night at the luxurious Hotel Alyeska.
• Day 2 :

  Board the Glacier Discovery Train in Girdwood at 10 AM and ride through the longest combined vehicle-railroad tunnel in North America to Whittier. De-board the train and board the M/V Klondike Express for a 5-hour 26-Glacier Cruise through the Prince William Sound. Watch for otters, whales, stellar sea lions, and lots of birds! Hop back on the Glacier Discovery Train and return for your second night in Girdwood.
• Day 3 :

  Join Alpine Air AK for a Glacier Dog-Sledding Adventure. Fly in an R44 Helicopter to Punch Bowl Glacier, where your dog team awaits. An unforgettable tour. $519 per person- Glacier Dog Sledding
