Referred to as dev bhoomi or “Land of God”, Himachal Pradesh is bordered by Jammu and Kashmir on the north, Punjab on the west, Uttar Pradesh on the south and Uttaranchal on the east. The word “Himachal” means the abode of snow. Shimla is the capital of Himachal Pradesh and the total area of the state is 55,673 square km. The state is covered with immense natural beauty and is, undoubtedly, one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. A majority of the area is mountainous with lofty ranges, deep valleys, swaying waterfalls and lush greenery. The climate varies extremely from one place to the other, providing heavy rainfalls to some area and no rainfall to others. Being high in altitude, snowfall is a common sight in most parts of the state. There are 12 districts in the state which are further subdivided into blocks and towns and villages for administrative convenience. Himachal Pradesh is known to be the second least corrupt state in the country. Owing to the huge production of apples, Himachal Pradesh is also known as the ‘State of Apples’.

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Delhi - Chandigarh

  Arrive at H. Nizamuddian Station, Delhi. Report to coach and proceed to Chandigarh.

• Day 2 : Chandigarh-Shimla

  Proceed to Shimla. En-route visit Pinjore Garden. On arrival in Shimla, visit the famous Mall road, Johnnies wax Museum, Scandal Point and Shimla Church.

• Day 3 : Shimla-Naldehraa-Kufri-Shimla

  Visit Kufri Fun Campus (Guest can enjoy various rides & acitivities at their own cost) & Naldehra. Pass by Naldehra Golf course. Later visit Kufri – Winter Sports Capital, Indira Bungalow and Himalayan Zoo (subject to operations).

• Day 4 : Shimla-Manali

  Proceed to Manali. En-route pass by Pandoh Dam, Beas river, Sutlej river, Beas Sutlej Link Project, Kullu Valley. Visit Shawl Factory at Kullu. Arrive at Manali in the evening.

  • Themes : Hill Stations & Valleys

• Day 5 : Manali-Solang-Manali

  In the morning explore the ancient temples like Vashisht Kund and Hidimba Mandir. Then proceed to Solang Valley – A splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund which offers the view of glaciers and snow capped mountains and peaks which has f ine ski slopes. Enjoy ropeway.

• Day 6 : Manali-Rohtang Snowpoint-Manali

  Enjoy spectacular drive towards Rohtang Snow point. Free time to play and enjoy in the snow. Evening enjoy Himachali Folk dance. Please Note: Rohtang pass is 51 kms. away from Manali. This Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a ye ar as it is covered by snow. We generally visit the snow point on Rohtang road, which has been permitted by the Border Security Force.

• Day 7 : Manali

  Enjoy water rafting in Beas river (subject to operation). Free day for shopping or leisure activities. Enjoy get together with your travel companions in the evening. Please Note: For safety reasons whose weight is less than 35 kgs are not allowed for water rafting.

• Day 8 : Manali-Chandigarh

  Proceed to Chandigarh. En-route visit Vaishnomata Mandir at Kullu. Arrive at Chandigarh in the evening.

• Day 9 : Chandigarh-Departure From Delhi

  Proceed to Delhi. Board the train for your hometown. Tour Concludes.
