Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Shillong: Welcome to the Serene Land

  Upon your arrival at the railway station or airport in Guwahati, the tour agent’s representative will receive and help you with your smooth transfers to your hotel in Shillong.
  Enjoy the scenic road journey to your hotel and revel in the picturesque views of surrounding natural beauty. As you reach your hotel, check in and relax for a while. Later in the day, the tour itinerary takes you for a visit to the beautiful Umiam Lake, a manmade reservoir built on the Umiam River.
  Umiam Lake: A beautiful man made water reservoir on Umiam River surrounded by soothing environment perfect to enjoy a disconnect from outer world.This beautiful waterbody is famous amongst tourists as it offers activities like kayaking, boating, water cycling and more.
  As the day ends, you will return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

• Day 2 : Shillong: Sightseeing in Meghalaya’s Capital City

  The second morning of your North east tour package starts with a filling breakfast at your hotel in Shillong. Post breakfast, set out for a local sightseeing tour in Shillong which includes visit to famous tourist attractions such as Don Bosco Museum, Lady Hydari Park, the Elephant Falls and more. Enjoy the tour as each an every attraction has one thing or the other which is hard to find in any other tourist place.
  Don Bosco Museum: A museum displaying on local indigenous people & culture, with tools, clothing & artifacts on display.
  Lady Hydari Park: A sprawling garden dedicated to the first lady of the province - Lady Hydari. It’s one of the famous tourist spots of Shillong.
  As the day of sightseeing tour in Shillong gets over, you will be transferred to your hotel for a cozy overnight stay at your hotel.

• Day 3 : Mawlynnong: Adventure and Sightseeing Ahead

  Have a wholesome breakfast at the hotel and then get transferred to the Mawlynnong village - one of the cleanest villages in Asia.

Once you reach your hotel, complete the check-in procedure and then make yourself at home. Later in the day, the third day’s itinerary of this North east holiday package takes you out for sightseeing in the picturesque Mawlynnong village. Enjoy a trek to double-decker root bridges up the hill which are formed naturally by intermingling of tree-roots and trunks. This time, away from the hustle & bustle of everyday life is nothing less than a day of forest bathing in the lush Khasi hills..
  As the day’s itinerary gets wrapped up, you will be transferred back to your hotel for a relaxing overnight stay.
