Day 1 : Arrival Delhi
A Representative/ Driver of Grand India Holidays will receive you from Delhi Airport/ Railway Station and transfer you to pre-booked hotel. And overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2 : Delhi Sightseeing
After breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple (Bahai), Qutub Minar, Rastrapati Bhawan, Parliament House, Jantar Mantar & India Gate. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 : Delhi – Mandawa (257 Km/ 6 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Mandawa and visit the Shekhawati villages, which are known for their colorful frescoes, beautiful havelis and mansions. Mandawa was earlier also called by names such as Mandu Ka bas or Mandua but was finally named as Mandawa. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 4 : Mandawa – Bikaner (190km/ 4 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bikaner. Witness the magic of Bikaner through an afternoon tour. The city is famous for its ancient architecture, especially the 16th century fort housing old palaces, a mosque and temples. Visit one of the few major forts which are not built on a hilltop – Junagadh Fort. The structures inside the fort have now been converted into a museum. Overnight stayat hotel.
Day 5 : Bikaner – Jaisalmer (333 Km/ 6 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaisalmer which was founded in 1156. Day would be set free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 : Jaisalmer Sightseeing
After breakfast full day sightseeing tour in the pictures city of Jaisalmer would include visiting the forts, havelis and the colorful markets. Get mesmerized by the ancient carvings and the intricate filigree work. Later, visit to the sandunes for a joyful camel ride. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 : Jaisalmer – Jodhpur (285 Km/ 5 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur and visit the splendid Mehrangarh Fort which is situated 120 meters above the city and is also one of the largest forts in India. People of Jodhpur, famously called as “Jodhpuris” are one of the most hospitable people of the country. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 8 : Jodhpur – Udaipur Via Ranakpur (285 Km/ 5hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Jaswant Thada which is a memorial built in the memory of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Afterwards drive to Udaipur. On the way to Udaipur, you shall be visiting the famous Jain temples of Ranakpur. Known for their detailed architecture, there are many historical stories waiting for you at these temples. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 9 : Udaipur Sightseeingg
After breakfast visit the city. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II and is known as the “Most Romantic City in India”. Udaipur sightseeing includes – visiting the City Palace which took nearly 400 years to complete. This palace is located on the Banks of Lake Pichola. Afterwards visit Lake Garden Palace or Jagdish temple and a drive around the Saheliyon Ki Bari (Royal Women Garden), Fatehsagar Lake and BhartiyaLok Kala Mandir. And evening free for leisure activities. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 10 : Udaipur – Pushkar (300km/ 7 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel drive to Pushkar, which is considered one of the holy places for Hindus? Visit the magnificent Pushkar Lake and Brahma Temple. Pushkar has more than 400 temples. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 11 : Pushkar – Jaipur (130km/ 3 Hrs)
After breakfast drive to Jaipur and check-in into your hotel. Afterwards, visit the fort on the hill, which is very well known as “Amer” or “Amber Fort”. This tremendous architecture which is roughly 12 km away from the populous city of Jaipur was built largely in red sandstone with some share also built in white marble. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 12 : Jaipur Sightseeing
After breakfast visit Amber Fort Also known as Amer Fort as it is located in Amer, which is at a distance of 11 Km from Jaipur. It looks more of a Palace than a Fort. The architecture of Amber was commenced by Maharaja Man Singh I (Dec 21st, 1550). It is one of the most prominent forts which have a style of both Hindu and Muslim elements. Amer Fort is also famous for Siladevi Temple where Raja Man Singh used to pray to win in the battles. There are Four main courtyards in this fort namely Hall of Public Audience (Diwan-i-Am), Hall of Victory (Jai Mandir), Hall of Pleasure (SukhNiwas), Women’s quarters (The Zenana). Another attraction of Amber Fort is The Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace). Many famous songs in Film industry have been shot in this palace
Post lunch, proceed to visit City Palace.
Located in the center of the city, this palace has Courtyards, Gardens and Buildings. Like other Forts and Palaces of Jaipur, this palace too has a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture. Maharaja Sawai Jai SinghII initiated the construction of this palace between 1729 and 1732. City Palace once, was the seat of the Maharaja. Afterwards, visit JantarMantar which is the best preserved of the five observatories built by Jai Singh II in different regions of the country. If time permits, then visit HawaMahal, famously known as Palace of Winds. It is a five-storey sandstone structure and was built in 1799. This was the Palace for women at the windows of this beautiful palace had holes from which the women could see through the activities. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 13 : Jaipur – Agra Via Fatehpur Sikri (250km/ 6 Hrs)
After breakfast at the hotel in Jaipur, check out and drive to Agra via visiting Fatehpur Sikri. During Emperor Akbar’s dynasty, there was a much acclaimed Saint, named Salim who lived near to Fatehpur Sikri. It was this Saint, who predicted the bright future of Akbar’s second son “Jehangir” and told him that Jehangir would grow into a great king of the future. Akbar was ecstatic to hear this from the holy saint and it was after the birth “Jehangir” that Emperor Akbar relocated his capital from Agra to Fatehpur Sikri. But Fatehpur Sikri could not be kept as a capital for long due to insufficiency of water and was later vacated by the Mughals. Continue drive to Agra. Reach Agra and check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 14 : Agra – Delhi (205 Km/ 4 Hrs)
After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit Taj Mahal. Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan on the banks of Yamuna River. Afterwards, visit Agra Fort. Like Taj Mahal, Agra Fort has also been declared as UNESCO World Heritage Site. Later drive back to Delhi. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 15 : Delhi – Back to Home
After breakfast check out from hotel and depart to Delhi Airport/ Railway Station with mesmerizing memory of Classic Rajasthan Tour.
