Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival Delhi

  Arrival Delhi. On arrival welcome by our representative and transfer to hotel.
  Overnight at Delhi.

• Day 2 : Delhi

  FULL DAY city tour of Old & New Delhi. Visit Red Fort (Lal Qila) rise 33-m above the clamour of Old Delhi as a reminder of the magnificent power and pomp of the Mughal emperors. , Jama Masjid Mosque built in red sandstone and marble by more than 5000 artisans. Originally called the Masjid-i-Jahan-Numa, or "mosque commanding view of the world",Raj Ghat and Shanti Vana-the cremation sites of Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru. Also drive past Chandni Chowk, shopping centre of Old Delhi. Humayun's Tomb, Qutab Minar built by Qutub-ud-Din Aibek in 1199, Birla Temple (Morden Hindu Temple), India Gate, Also drive past President's House, Parliament House, Government Secretariat Buildings and Connaught Place- shopping centre of New Delhi.
  Overnight stay in Delhi.

• Day 3 : Delhi – Agra (210 kms – 05 hrs)

  Morning leave Delhi by A/c vehicle for Agra. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Agra the city of the world famous Taj Mahal is one amongst the World’s Wonders, the UNESCO World Heritage Sites. It is a legend of eternal love of an Emperor fr his favourite Queen, Dayal Bagh, Local Marbal Market etc. Also visit the Agra Fort also known as the “Lal –Qila”, “Fort Rouge” or “Qila-i-Akbari”, a symbol of power, strength and resilience.

• Day 4 : Agra – Jhansi - Khajuraho Enroute Visiting Orchha

  Morning transfer to Railway Station to catch Shatabdi Train for Jhansi at 0810 hrs. Arrive Jhansi at 1030 hrs. Meeting and assistance on arrival and drive to Khajuraho enroute visiting Orchha. Orchha's grandeur has been captured in stone, frozen in time; a rich legacy to the ages. For, on this medieval city, the hand of time has rested lightly and the palaces and temples built by its Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries, retain much of their pristine perfection. On Arrival check in at hotel.
  Overnight stay at Khajuraho.

  Full Day city tour of Khajuraho visiting Eastern and Western Temples.

• Day 6 : Khajuraho – Varanasi (By Flight)

  In time transfer to Airport to catch flight for Varanasi. Arrive Varanasi. Meeting and assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel. visiting the Bharat Mata Temple with a big relief map of India in marble, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Mandir, Banaras Hindu University which has an Art Gallery and the Mosque of Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb.. Evening view Aarti at River Ganges.
  Overnight at Varanasi.

• Day 7 : Varanasi

  Early Morning Boat excursion on River Ganges to see the Bathing ghats and Cremation site. Watching people bathing and worshipping at the Ghats is one of the most extraordinary experiences of a visit to India.
  After Breakfast excursion Sarnath. Sarnath, the buried Buddhist city where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon, Sarnath was a renowned school of learning from 6th century B.C. to 12th century A.D. Visit the ruins, the stupa, the Buddhist temple and the Museum.
  Afternoon visit Ramnagar (The Ramnagar fort lies about 14 km. from Varanasi and is situated on the opposite bank of river Ganga. It is the ancestral home of the Maharaja of Banaras. Maharaja Balwant Singh built this fort-palace in the eighteenth century. The fort is built in red sandstone).
  Overnight at Varanasi.

• Day 8 : Varanasi – Bodhgaya (240 kms – 05 & ½ hrs)

  Morning drive to Bodhgaya. On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Bodhgaya. "Bodh Gaya is the place where Gautama Buddha attained unsurpassed, supreme Enlightenment. It is a place which should be visited or seen by a person of devotion and which would cause awareness and apprehension of the nature of impermanence".
  Overnight at Bodhgaya.

• Day 9 : Bodhgaya – Rajgir (74 kms – 01 & ½ hrs)

  Morning drive to Rajgir. On arrival check in at hotel. Later Full day visit of Nalanda and Rajgir. “Nalanda” is known as the ancient seat of learning. 2,000 Teachers and 10,000 Students from all over the Buddhist world lived and studied at Nalanda, the first Residential International University of the World.A walk in the ruins of the university, takes you to an era, that saw India leading in imparting knowledge, to the world - the era when India was a coveted place for studies. The University flourished during the 5th and 12th century. “Rajgir”, though small area wise, is an important pilgrimage center for three of the great religions of India, Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainism. There are pilgrimage sites of each of these religions in the town.
  Overnight in Rajgir.

• Day 10 : Rajgir – Kushinagar (300 kms – 08 hrs)

  Morning drive to Kushinagar. On arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure.
  Overnight at Kushinagar.

• Day 11 : Kushinagar – Gorakhpur (65 kms – 01 & ½ hrs) – Delhi - Back Home

  Morning visit Kushinagar, the place where Lord Buddha fell ill and left this world in 543 BC. His mortal remains were preserved in eight commemorative chortens, and then further distributed by King Ashoka into 84,000 stupas across his kingdom and beyond. Important places to see here are the Mukatanabandhana stupa and the Gupta period reclining Buddha statue in red sandstone. Afternoon drive to Gorakhpur Airport to connect flight for Delhi. Arrive Delhi and change flight for back home.
