Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Kathmandu

  Assistance upon arrival at the International airport & transfer to hotel.
  
  Later sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square & Swayambhunath.
  
  Kathmandu Durbar Square: It is in the heart of old city Kathmandu in Basantapur. The founding of the Royal Palace dates back to Licchavi times. With considerable renovations by Malla rulers & later the Ranas, construction was accomplished progressively over many centuries. There are around 50 temples in the vicinity.
  
  In this tour, we visit the 17th Century Durbar complex and Hanuman Dhoka, temple of Kumari (living goddess), Narayan Mandir, Maiju Dewal, and Kasthmandap a wooden temple built from a single tree, Shiva Paravati temple, great Bell and Drum, Bhairav and Taleju Temple.
  
  Swoyambhunath, one of the oldest Buddhist stupa overlooking the entire Kathmandu valley also known as the Monkey Temple’
  
  Overnight at hotel.

• Day 2 : Drive Changu Narayan & Hike to Nagarkot

  After breakfast sightseeing tour of Changu Narayan. From Changu Narayan, you will begin your trek to Nagarkot. It is a gentle uphill walk which will pass through pine forests. Towards the end of the hike, the climb is a little steep. After3-4 hours of steady walking, you will reach Nagarkot.
  
  Nagarkot situated at 2300 meters, on the valley’s eastern rim, Nagarkot offers an excellent view of the Nepal Himalaya including Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Manaslu. It also has sweeping panoramas of the terraced hillsides so typical of Nepal. It is a popular place for sunrise & sunset view.
  
  Enjoy sunset over the Himalaya (subject to weather permit) & drive back to Kathmandu for overnight stay.

• Day 3 : Fly Kathmandu/Pokhara & Trek To Ghandruk (1940M)

  After breakfast transfer to airport to board the flight to Pokhara (25 minutes flight). Upon arrival in Pokhara drive to Nayapul to start the trek (40 km and 1 hour drive).
  
  We walk about half hour to Birethanti and take the right hand track to walk on a gradual ascent trail along the Modi Khola through villages to Seuli Bazaar to stop for lunch. Post lunch a further 3 hours walk on gradual ascent on a very busy trail will take us to the large Gurung village of Ghandrung. The major residents of Ghandrung village are those retired from the Indian and British army. Ghandrung offers the magnificent views of the major peaks of the Annapurna range including the famous Mt. Machapuchre, Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Gangapurna, and other. Should the time permits, we can go on exploring the area and Gurung traditional culture. Stay overnight at lodge.

• Day 4 : Trek To Tadapani (2630M)

  Trek from Ghandruk to Tadapani (2650m.) and it takes about 4 hours.
  The trek begins through the Gurung village with beautiful Rhododendron trees, a birds chirping and welcoming the guests to their area. The stream runs down its clear and pure water as we climb up. We will come across the place named Bherikharka with some tea shops and lodges for a rest. The trek then continues with the forest of Rhododendron trees. Stay overnight at lodge.

• Day 5 : Trek To Ghorepani (2630M)

  Trek from Tadapani to Ghorepani (2853m.) which takes about five hours. Today’s trek starts with a short decline till a small stream and then uphill through the Rhododendron trees. We come across a place name Banthahiti with the facility of tea houses and lodges. From here, the trail ascends through the forests up to Gurung Hill. Now the trail descends through the forest till Ghorepani. Stay overnight at lodge.

• Day 6 : Trek To Tirkhedunga (1540M)

  Early morning trip to Poon Hill (3232m.) to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m.), Tukuche Peak (6920m.), Nilgiri (6940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m.), Annapurna South (7219m.), Annapurna III (7855m.), Machhapuchhre (6993m.), Annapurna IV (7525m.), Annapurna II (7937m.), Lamjung Himal (6931m.) and other numerous snowcapped mountain peaks. After breakfast trek Ghorepani to Tirkhedhunga and trail is gradual descent through rhododendron and Oak forest up to Banthati. While trek from Banthati to Ulleri, the trail descends gently and Ulleri is a beautiful Magar village and it is steep descent until you reach Tirkhedhunga which is overnight stop for today. Overnight at Lodge.

• Day 7 : Trek To Nayapul & Fly To Kathmandu

  Today’s entire walk will be on a flat land passing through several villages and farm land. It is a very busy trail of the region. A walk of about 4 hours will take us to Nayapul which is the trek ending point and we will find our vehicle to take us to Pokhara. Thus ends our pleasant and memorable trek.
  
  Drive to airport to board the flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival in Kathmandu transfer to hotel.
  
  Overnight at hotel.

• Day 8 : Departure Kathmandu

  Breakfast at Hotel
  In time transfer to airport for departure flight.
