Day 1 : Kochi – Munnar
rrival Kochi Airport by any convenient Flight from Home. You are picked up from the Airport or from any location in Cochin by the representative of Halo Backwaters for your journey in Kerala. Till recently, Kochi was Cochin, and only half as frenetic. It was a lagoon that made Kochi as cherished destination as far back as the early 16th century and it is the same lagoon that makes Kochi one of the nation's busiest port now.
Get ready after breakfast for your morning drive to Munnar, where sprawling tea plantations, picture book towns, winding lanes, trekking and holiday facilities make it a unique experience. On the way visiting Cheyyappara Waterfalls, viewpoints etc. On arrival at Munnar get ready for the special trip to Pothamedu for an excellent view of the tea, coffee and cardamom plantations in Munnar. The breath taking scenery here is ideal for trekking and long mountain walks.
Continue your drive and check into the hotel.Rest of the day for own activities in your accommodation. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 2 : Munnar
This morning after breakfast, visit Mattupetty famous for its highly specialized dairy farm, the Indo-Swiss live stock project. Proceed to Mattupetty lake and dam, which is a very beautiful picnic spot. You could enjoy boating in the lake and view mountains and landscapes from afar. Onwards proceed to Echo point famous for the natural echo phenomenon and then to Top Station offering marvelous views of Munnar valley below.
After lunch in the munnar town, proceed to visit the Athukad falls, located deep in a valley 8 Km from Munnar, just off the Kochi Road, is one of Munnar's major lures. Overnight stay at Munnar.Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 3 : Munnar
Say hello to the Nilgiri Tahr.Half the world population of the endangered Nilgiri Tahr lives in the Eravikulam National Park at Munnar.Friendly as they are, you can pat them or pose for pictures with them. So meet them and have plenty to brag about back home.Overnight stay at Munnar.
Then visit the Lakkom Waterfall, just off the Tallayar - Marayoor road the cascade is a delight to swim in its natural pool tucked away in total privacy. It is a 7-step waterfall on to which we can trek at daytime.
Later on proceed to visit the Tea Museum.The Kannan Devan Hills Produce Company houses India’s only tea museum in a century old tea estate. The memorable preserved include a burial urn from the second century BC, an original 1905 tea roller, a rotor vane (the old CTC type tea processing machine), the Pelton wheel used in the power generation plant of the Pelton wheel used in the power generation plant of the 1920s, and a rail engine wheel of the Kundala Valley Railway that shuttled between Munnar and Top Station during the first half of the last century. Return to the resort and enjoy the facilities at your resort. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 4 : Munnar – Kochi
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Kochi airport/railway station to catch the flight/train to home. On departure the tour concludes with happy memories. Tour Concludes.
