Meal plan - start with Lunch and ends with Breakfast (Typical Kerala Cuisine ,if you require any other cuisine inform us in advance)
6 PM till 8 AM Houseboat will be stationed , and cruise will start again from 8AM .
AC Houseboats - AC is operational only from 9 PM to 6AM. (If you require 24 hour AC, it will be charged extra)

The cruise commences at 1230 hrs with lunch served on board and continues till dusk. At dusk the boat will anchor in a wide waterway or lake for the night (The backwaters close to boat traffic at dusk as the fisherman laid their nets in the backwaters. Other boats are not allowed to play in the backwaters after dusk. On the following day the cruise commences again after breakfast and the guest will be dropped at Alleppey by 0900Hrs. Overnight stay at the House Boat.**Since houseboats are stationed in the bank of the backwater during the night the problem of mosquito and water borne insects do come up hence you are kindly requested to carry mosquito and insect repellent along with you. The choice of food in the houseboat is very limited and mostly basic south Indian meal is served. The quality of the houseboat cannot be compared with the quality of the rooms in the hotel where the guest is staying. The rooms are basic and small. The main concept of the houseboat is to explore the backwater beauty of the region at the closet to the nature.Entry fees to monuments and places

Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Cochin

  On arrival at Cochin Airport, meet and transfer to hotel. Cochin - the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea has one of the finest natural harbors in the world. After check in freshen up Cochin sightseeing covering the Dutch Palace (closed on Fridays), The Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays & Saturdays).Thiswas rebuilt two years later when the Dutch took over Cochin. The ancient churches, palaces and synagogues in this city are famous. Evening, you go for a motorboat cruise to watch the sunset and the Chinese fishing nets and Cultural Centre to enjoy the Kathakali dance show.. Overnight stay at Cochin.
• Day 2 : Cochin - Alleppey

  After breakfast, drive to Alleppey where you will check into a Houseboat at 1200 noon for cruise towards visit The St. Francis Church, said to be India's oldest European-built church was constructed in 1503. Alleppey has large networks of canals and is the centre for backwater cruises in our state. During the cruise, you can stop for short walks through the nearby villages, enjoying local life. Meals will be served on board. Stay overnight in Houseboat.
• Day 3 : Alleppey - Thekkady

  Early morning after breakfast, drive to Thekkady, the land of unending chains of hills and spice scented plantations. It houses the famous wildlife sanctuary in South India and has also been declared as a Tiger Reserve. On arrival, check into the hotel, after visit the spice plantations and the Kumily town and at leisure and is free for own activities. Evening, you can enjoy boating through Lake Periyar to watch the wildlife. This is the only sanctuary in India where you can view wildlife at close quarters from the safety of a boat. Overnight stay at Thekkady.
• Day 4 : Thekkady - Munnar

  In the morning depart for Munnar enjoying the scenic beauty & the marvelous waterfalls, high mountains with the low flying clouds passing by. On the way to Munnar you can see tea gardens spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers, lush green hills, a place so difficult to describe, very low population too far from pollution, most of the area covered by Tata tea, Mattupetty, Eco-Point, Tea Museum, Pothamedu etc.. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight at stay at hotel.
• Day 5 : Munnar - Ooty

  After early morning breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Ooty. After check into the hotel, proceed for sightseeing tour of Ooty. The attractions that you will cover include Botanical Garden, Ooty Lake, Doddabetta Peak and the local market embark on a city tour of Ooty which include Ketty Valley, Sim’s Park, Lamb’s Park, Tea Gardens, Dolphin’s Nose, Rose Garden, Avalanche and Koddandu Point. Later, return to Ooty for an overnight stay.

• Day 6 : Ooty - Madurai

  After an early breakfast, drive to Madurai. Known as the temple town of South India, Madurai is the second largest city in Tamil Nadu. On arrival, check into the hotel proceed for sightseeing tour of Madurai. Madurai is famous for the Meenakshi Temple, with its towering gopurams and rare sculptures. Other important attractions include Thirumalai Naicker Palace, Koodal Azhagar Temple and the Gandhi Museum. Evening, visit Sri Meenakshi Temple and attend the Pooja ceremony. Later evening back to hotel, Over night stay at Madurai.

• Day 7 : Madurai - Velankanni

  After early morning breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Velankanni. After Check in to Hotel, Visit the Church. The Beach behind the Church is ideal for a visit and Walk on the beach and Spend a pious day at this Holy Town. Later evening back to hotel, Overnight stay at Hotel in Velankanni.
• Day 8 : Velankanni - Chennai

  After early morning breakfast, checkout from the hotel and drive to Chennai. After check in hotel, Relax for a while and proceed for the afternoon sight seeing in Chennai which includes Sightseeing tour of Chennai covering Valluvar Kottam, National Art and Government Museum, St George Fort. After visit back to hotel. Stay overnight at Chennai.
• Day 9 : Chennai

  After breakfast, go for sightseeing tour of Madras can boasts of an interesting flair of South Indian Art, Architecture, dance, music and festivals with rich cultural traditions. Check into the hotel for the night. Afternoon enjoy a short sightseeing tour of Madras city. This includes Besant Nagar Beach, museum, St Thomas Mount and Marina beach. Overnight stay in the hotel.
• Day 10 : Chennai

  After early morning breakfast Shopping, City Walk and Own Activities. After back to hotel freshen up check out from the hotel. Our representative will transfer you to the Chennai airport for your onward flight.
