Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Cochin – Munnar (140kms/4.5hrs)

  Arrive at Cochin airport or Ernakulam Railway station, where you will be received by our company representative and drive to lovely hill station called Munnar filled with tea plantations and misty mountains. The drive to Munnar through the narrow hair pin roads is very scenic with beautiful valleys, tea gardens and small waterfalls On the way to Munnar you can see Valera and Cheeyapara Waterfalls. On reaching Munnar, visit the Tea Factory (subject to permission granted) and then check into the Resort. Start the sightseeing tour visiting Eravikulam National Park and Rajamala Peak, Mattupetty Dam where speed boating can be done, Echo Point, etc.. Overnight stay

  • Themes : Mountaineering

• Day 2 : Munnar - Thekkady (130Kms/4 hrs)

  Morning after breakfast drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady) which is famous for its spice plantations and wildlife reserve. On arrival check into the resort and relax. Sightseeing destinations include Periyar wild life sanctuary where if you have luck, you can see wild animals (you can watch all these only while doing boating in the Lake). You can watch martial arts, kathakali, tribal dance and can go for ayurveda massages OR Enjoy guided spice plantation tour followed by 02hrs elephant package which includes 01hr ride and then washing the elephant in the river, watching the timber processing done, etc. (All are optional service if you are interested you can do it on direct payment basis). Overnight stay

• Day 3 : Thekkady – Cochin Departure (140kms / 4hrs)

  Today after breakfast you can proceed to Cochin. If time permits you can do the sightseeing tour at Cochin, visiting Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica and the Chinese Fishing Nets. Evening you can relax at marine drive in Ernakulam and if you are interested you can do the shopping in Ernakulam. later as per your departure schedule our driver will drop you at Ernakulam Railway station or Bus Station for your onward journey to back home with wonderful memories of the tour.

  Overall trip was good. Hotel Treebo was too good. Breakfast in both the hotels was delicious.The Driving was safe.Service provided by the Room service guy was good in both the hotels. Raja (Room service guy) from Fairstay hotel approach towards guests was pleasant.
