Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrive Kochi

  Welcome to Kochi, the city with rich cultural heritage and the city rightly called as Quen of Arabian sea. It is suggested that you arrive before noon and on arrival you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel. The afternoon Kochi sightseeing takes you through major landmarks like St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, Jewish Synagogue (Closed on Sat,Fri), Dutch Palace (Closed on Fridays) etc. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Kochi.

• Day 2 : Kochi-Kumarakom (90 Mnts Drive)

  After breakfast drive through the palm fringed villages to reach exotic Kumarakom, located on the banks Vemband Lake. After check-in, the day is at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the resort or to sit back and wonder at the magic of the backwaters. May be you can avail some DIRECT PAYMENT OPTIONAL activities like Ayurveda Massage, Motor Canoe Cruise, Village Walk etc. All optional activities are on direct payment basis. Overnight in Kumarakom.

• Day 3 : Kumarakom-Houseboat

  Ater breakfast the morning is at leisure. By noon board the houseboat to enjoy the most fascinating and exotic experience of lifetime. While you cruise along, cherish the spectacular beauty of the backwaters with palm fringed waterways, Chinese fishing nets, rustic homes, temples etc., May be, you can choose to walk in the paddy fields or stroll through the local villages or barge into a local toddy shops. You will be served with local Kerala Cuisine and the common facilities onboard include A/C bed Rooms with private toilet, kitchen, sundeck, living area. Cruise will be for 4 to 5 hours in day time. A/C will be on after 2030 Hrs only. Overnight in Houseboat

• Day 4 : Disembark at Alleppey & Drive to Kovalam (4 Hrs Drive)

  After Breakfast disembark at Alleppey around 0900 Hrs. Latre transfer to Kovalam, a beautiful beach famous for its palm fringed bays, secluded coconut groves and for its exotic tropical beauty. On arrival check in and rest of the day is at leisure to be on your own. May be you can enjoy the facilities at the resort or walk around the beautiful beaches. Overnight at Kovalam.

• Day 5 : Trivandrum Sight Seeing. At Kovalam

  After breakfast you can go on a excursion to Trivandrum, the capital city of Kerala. The Trivandrum sightseeing tour takes you to Sri Padamanabhaswamy temple, Temple Museums, Sri Chitra Art Gallery, Napier Museum (Museum & gallerry closed on Fridays) etc., During the sightseeing you can consider going inside the Sri Padmanabhaswamy temple for darshan ( Only Hindus, Men in Dhoties, ladies in Sarees, restricted timings). Rest of the day is at leisure for activities on own. Overnight at Kovalam.

• Day 6 : To Kanyakumari (2 1/2 Hrs Drive)

  After breakfast drive onward to Kanyakumari, beautiful town which is also the southern tip of India. On the way visit Sri Padmanabhapuram Palace. On arriving Kanyakumari check-in to your hotel. Later the sightseeing tour takes you to places like Wax Museum, Thiruvalluvar Statue, Vivekanda Rock etc. Late evening proceed to watch the spectacular sunset from India's Southern tip where three Great Oceans meet. After watching the sunset, return back to the hotel. Overnight at Kanyakumari

• Day 7 : Departure from Trivandrum

  Early morning watch the most spectacular sun-rise from the town where three great oceans meet. After breakfast you have some free time to visit the Kumari Amman temple. Latre we drop you at Kanyakumari Stations. Alternatively we drive you to Trivandrum. We drop you at Trivandrum airport or Trivandrum railway Stations (Trivandrum departure should be after 1500 Hrs) for your return journey
