Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Arrival in Bogotá

  Begin your tour upon arrival in Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia. Enjoy transfer to the hotel and check-in. Rest of the day take to kill jet-lag from flight. Overnight.

• Day 2 : Bogotá - City Tour

  This morning after breakfast, enjoy a city tour of Bogotá. Visit the “Plaza de Bolívar” and the government buildings, the Colonial Center and Old City “La Candelaria”, San Francisco and La Tercera Church, the famous Gold Museum and its over 30,000 gold items that shows the rich culture of the pre-conquest time. Afterwards enjoy a breathtaking view of Bogotá and its surroundings from “Nuestro Señor Caído” sanctuary in nearby Monserrate. Overnight.

• Day 3 : Bogotá - Nuquí - The Pacific Coast

  Enjoy breakfast before departing from Bogotá to the Pacific Coastal village of Nuquí by flight. Stroll around the village and board a small motor boat to the south and Coqui bay. Optional Cost: – Stay 3 nights at El Cantil Lodge. This wonderful lodge overlooks the sea and is surrounded by a tropical forest. El Cantil has more than 8 rustic bungalows equipped with shower baths, hammocks, mosquito nets and oil lamps. Each of the bungalows provide amazing view of the coast. They also provide diving lessons and underwater exploration. And from there you can explore both the coast and the jungle. Everyday the lodge offers different activities.

• Day 6 : Nuquí - Colombia Coffee Region

  Enjoy Breakfast. Transfer back to Nuqui and its airport to depart to Medellin by flight. From there head to a nice coffee-growing plantation situated in the vicinity of Pereira, situated in the heart of Colombia’s coffee-growing region. Spend the next 02 nights in an elegant finca, or hacienda, where the aroma of fresh coffee will wake you each morning. Overnight.

• Day 7 : Colombia Coffee Region

  After an early breakfast, enjoy a jeep ride to the Snow Mountains named “Los Nevados” National Park to arrive near the crater Nevado del Ruiz volcano at 5,400 meters high. Enjoy the beauty of diverse landscapes and climates. At noon head back to the coffee region and Pereira to learn more about the production and cultivation process of coffee in the Colombian Mountains. Overnight.

• Day 8 : Colombia Coffee Region - Neiva - San Agustín

  Enjoy Breakfast. Enjoy flight to Bogotá to take connecting flight to Neiva. From here, tranfer to San Augustín, following the Magdalena River and its beautiful landscapes of mountains throughout. Upon entering village, transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight.

• Day 9 : San Agustín Archaeological Park

  Enjoy Breakfast. Visit the “San Agustín Archaeological Park”, Fuente Ceremonial de Lavapata and the Archaeological Museum. In the afternoon, enjoy a horseback ride to the archaeological parks of “El Tablón” and “La Chaquira.” Overnight.

• Day 10 : San Agustín

  Enjoy Breakfast in the morning. Travel to San José de Isnos. Visit the Archaeological Park with the Alto de los ídolos and Alto de las Piedras. See the amazing cascades of Salto de Mortiño. Spend the rest of the time exploring the town. Overnight.

• Day 11 : San Agustín - Neiva - Cartagena

  After breakfast in the morning, check out of hotel and transfer to Neiva to board flight to Bogotá to take transfer flight to Cartagena on the Caribbean Cost. Upon arrival in Cartagena, enjoy transfer to the hotel for check-in. Overnight.

• Day 12 : Cartagena - City Tour

  Today after breakfast, enjoy a half-day city tour of this vibrant Caribbean port city. Cartagena de las Indias is one of the most impressive urban centers in Latin American, oozing Caribbean flair and Spanish colonial history. Encircled by high defense walls built to evade pirates back centuries ago, Cartagena beckons exploration of its city walls, forts, colorful houses decorated with flowerboxes, and Spanish colonial-style rooftops. Visit the old city and its main buildings such as La Popa Convent and the Castle of San Felipe. During your afternoon leisure time, enjoy strolling around the city. Overnight.

• Day 13 : Cartagena - Islas Del Rosario Underwater National Park

  Enjoy breakfast in the morning. Transfer to Islas del Rosario and its Underwater National Park. Visit the San Martin Island Natural Aquarium, and watch a dolphin and shark show. Continue to the Pirates Island. Look for corals, starfish, and other marine life while taking option of swimming or snorkeling. Return to Cartagena in the late afternoon. Overnight.
