Day wise Itinerary

  • Day 1 : Arrive Delhi

    Upon your arrival at Indira Gandhi International Airport you will be meet and greet by our Guest relations executive, he will introduce your driver for your trip and then you will be transferred to the hotel and relax. Delhi is the capital of India and the main metropolitan city. It is the city where the present exists with the past. Delhi is located on the banks of River Yamuna and many dynasties have ruled from here. It is famous for the architecture and monuments. Overnight stay in Delhi.

  • Day 2 : Delhi - Mandawa (265kms / 6hrs)

    Morning after breakfast check out the hotel, drive to Mandawa. Mandawa is generally famous for its beautiful Castles and stunning Havelis. Nowhere in Rajasthan will you find such exquisitely designed Havelis. Every Haveli maintains its individuality and are decorated with wonderful paintings. The paintings depicted on the walls of the Havelis are antique in design and there was a time when precious gems were found on these. The center of activity at Mandawa is concentrated around its medieval Fort. The fort holds a predominant position at Mandawa and boasts of having intricate carvings and beautifully painted arched gateways. The rich history of Mandawa is reflected in the large number of Havelis and forts found there. These Havelis itself are the greatest tourist attractions of Mandawa. Of the Havelis, the most important are the Chokhani, Ladia, Binsidhar Newatia, and Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli. The Binsidhar Newatia Haveli, is known for its curious paintings. The Gulab Rai Ladia Haveli is famous for its erotic images, now mostly defaced. Overnight stay at Mandawa.

  • Day 3 : Mandawa - Bikaner (200kms / 4hrs)

    This morning explore the havelis and then drive towards Bikaner- which was once a major trading post between Africa, West Asia and the Far East. Bikaner, the royal fortified city, with a timeless appeal in the north state of Rajasthan, retains the medieval splendor that pervades the city’s lifestyle. More popularly called the camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. Bikaner stands on a slightly raised ground and is bounded by a seven km long embattled wall with five gates. The magnificent forts and palaces, in reddish-pink sandstone created with delicacy, bear testimony to its rich historical and architectural legacy. Undulating lanes, colorful bazaars and bright and cheerful folks make the visit Bikaner an interesting experience.

    On arrival check in your hotel. Later visit the Junagarh Fort, built by Raj Rai Singh, one of the best fort in Rajasthan. It comprises of 37 palaces with pavilions, mosaic courtyards, carved balconies, kiosks and windows dotted all over the structure. The Shish Mahal, the Grand Durbar Hall, the 17th century Karan Mahal, Anup Mahal and the Phool Mahal bring to life the grandeur of a bygone era. The Fort Museum, has a rare collection of Sanskrit and Persian manuscripts and miniature painting. Stay overnight in Bikaner.

  • Day 4 : Bikaner - Jaisalmer (350kms / 7hrs)

    After morning breakfast proceed to visit the 600 year old temple dedicated to Karni Mata, an incarnation of Goddess Durga. the Temple has huge intricately carved silver gates denoted by Maharaja Ganga Singh. The Temple plays host to thousands of rats that form the major attraction here. The rats are considered sacred and worshipped accordingly.

    Later drive towards Jaisalmer. The ‘Golden City’ of Rajasthan is dominated by its eponymous Fort, a fairytale structure which seems to rise directly from the endless expanse of desert surrounding the city. Jaisalmer Fort-known as Sonar Quila or the Golden fort, rises from the sand and merges with the golden hues of the desert ambience.The setting sun in its most colourful shades gives it a fairy tale appearance. Upon your arrival check in your hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

  • Day 5 : Jaisalmer

    Full day sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer cover the magnificent Jaisalmer Fort – It is situated on the Trikuta Hill was established by Maharawal Jaisal and is also known as “Sonar Quila” because it is made up of golden yellow sandstone. The fort is about 800 years old and is protected by 99 towers and has a large number of temples, residential areas and markets. The fort stands over 30 m over the city and is approached through Ganesh Pol, Suraj Pol, Bhoot Pol and Hawa Pol. The town is also famous for the large number of havelis; important among them includes the Nathmalji Ki Haveli, Salim Singh Ki Haveli, Patwon Ji Ki Haveli, and the Tazia Tower.

    Late afternoon drive towards Sam Sand Dunes, 30 minutes out of Jaisalmer, to witness the magnificent sunset of the mighty dunes. Return to hotel for Dinner. Stay overnight in Jaisalmer.

  • Day 6 : Jaisalmer - Jodhpur (330kms / 7hrs)

    Morning take a long drive to Jodhpur -‘The Blue City’ of Rajasthan. Jodhpur was once the capital of the state Marwar & it is built tumbling down a low sandstone hill, right on the edge of the great Thar Desert. At the summit of this hill stands the Mehrangarh fort built in 1459. Standing above a perpendicular cliff, the fort looks impregnable – an imposing landmark, especially at night when it is bathed in yellow light. On reaching check in your hotel. In the evening stroll the area around the clock tower and Sadar Market on your own, almost in the shadow of the walls of the fort, has many laneways full of shops and stalls selling fruit and vegetables, spices, silverware and handicrafts. Stay overnight in Jodhpur.

  • Day 7 : Jodhpur - Ranakpur - Udaipur (280kms / 5.5hrs)

    Morning proceed to visit Mehrangarh Fort, the walls of the fort enclose a variety of handsome, red sandstone buildings, palaces, barracks, temples and havelis. Delicately latticed windows and pierced screens worked in sandstone are the surprising motifs inside the fort. The palaces – Moti Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sheesh Mahal and other apartments are exquisitely decorated with paintings still gracing some of the ceilings and the walls.

    Later drive towards Udaipur, enroute stop at Ranakpur Jain temple in a quiet and picturesque glen which runs into the western slopes of the Aravalli hills, lies the remarkable 15th century Jain temples. Though over 500 years old, the temples here are superbly preserved in a near – perfect condition. In the center is the main “Chaumukha Temple” dedicated to Adinath. The most distinctive features are the 29 halls supported by 1444 pillars, of which no two are exactly alike. Every conceivable surface is carved and every corner and angle is engraved with Jain images. On reaching Udaipur check in to the hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

  • Day 8 : Udaipur

    After breakfast proceed for the city tour of Udaipur- the city of Lakes. Visit the City Palace, a majestic architectural marvel which is perched on a hill and towers over Lake Pichola. The Palace is a majestic conglomeration of courtyards, pavilions, terraces, corridors, rooms and hanging gardens. Each palace within is an outstanding creation of art. Then visit the Bharatiya Lok Kala Museum which has an interesting collection of Indian folk art including costumes, ornaments, puppets, masks, dolls, musical instruments and deities. Later visit Sahelion-Ki-Bari the “Ladies Garden”, with its rich foliage and intricately designed fountains.

    Later in the afternoon enjoy a sunset boat Cruise on Lake Pichola on which the majestic Lake Palace Hotel is situated. See the Ghats along the lake and the interesting buildings on the banks. The view of the city palace from the lake is spectacular. Stay overnight in Udaipur.

  • Day 9 : Udaipur - Pushkar (315kms / 6.5hrs)

    Morning after having the breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Pushkar. Pushkar is surrounded by hills on three sides, 11 kms from Ajmer, abounds in temples. One of these the most famous is the Brahma temple – the only temple dedicated to Lord Brahma in the whole country. On arrival check in at the hotel and relax. Evening proceed to visit of the Brahma Temple only Hindu temple where The Lord Braham, the creator of universe is worshipped and then visit the Pushkar Lake is considered as one of the most sacred spot in India. Stay overnight in Pushkar.

  • Day 10 : Pushkar - Jaipur (150kms / 3hrs)

    Morning spend your time around the Ghats of Pushkar lake and then drive towards Jaipur. On arrival check in your hotel and relax. Jaipur is the capital of Rajasthan. It is also known as Pink City. It is a busy town and famous for Palaces and bazaars of textiles, jewelleries and folk based arts & handicrafts. Jaipur is the paradise for the shoppers. Evening you can stroll around the local bazaars of jaipur and do shopping. Stay overnight in Jaipur.

  • Day 11 : Jaipur

    After morning breakfast proceed to sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Proceed to visit Amber Fort, here you will enjoy the Elephant Ride/ Jeep ride to reach atop of the palace. Inside the Fort visit the Hall of Victory or Jag Mandir – is the famed Sheesh Mahal – a room with all the four walls and ceiling completely embedded with glittering mirror pieces, which were specially imported from Belgium during that period.

    Then move to visit the Maharaja’s City Palace, the former Royal residence, part of it converted into a museum. A small portion is still used by the Royal family of Jaipur. Later visit Hawa Mahal or ‘the Palace of winds’ through the rose - pink structures, the official buildings and the market places of Jaipur. Later visit the Jantar Mantar (observatory), which is the largest stone and marble crafted observatory in the world, having 17 large instruments, many of them still in working condition. Evening relax in the hotel. Stay overnight in Jaipur.

  • Day 12 : Jaipur -Delhi (270kms / 6hrs)

    Morning after breakfast check out the hotel and drive to Delhi. On reaching check in the hotel and relax. Stay overnight in Delhi.

  • Day 13 : Delhi Departure

    Today you will be transferred to Delhi Airport to board your onward flight to home with the fond memories of your tour.
