Day 1 : New Delhi – Bagdogra – Darjeeling (2045M/6712Ft) 65Kms- 3/4Hrs
Take the morning flight from Delhi for Bagdogra and from there drive for about 4 hrs to reach the hill town of Darjeeling. Darjeeling was established as a rest and recuperate destination way back in 1880s and since then has become popular with tourists from all over the globe. It is most famous for its tea plantations and the views of Kanchenjunga from here. We will check into the hotel. Evening is at leisure. Overnight in a hotel
Day 2 : Darjeeling – Dodrey – Tonglu (3078M/10098Ft) Drive / 2-3 Hrs, Trek / 2-3Hrs
We drive to Dodrey, the starting point of the trek. Today we walk for 2-3 hrs through thick rhododendron forests to reach Tonglu, a small ridge top settlement. Enroute one can catch tantalizing glimpses of the Kanchenjunga, worlds third highest peak. Overnight in tents
Day 3 : Tonglu – Kalapokhari (3100M/10170Ft) 13Km / 5-6 Hrs
The day starts with a downhill trail passing through a picturesque Nepalese village Call Jaw bari, Then Descending More we Pass Gairibans, From here the route is uphill for Some time, The Who Left Side Ridge Falls under Nepal .We Continue our Trek and Cross Kaya Katta a Small Tea Shop, Route is Straight From this Point till Kala pokhari(BLACK POND). One Can see great views of Kanchenjunga throughout. Afternoon Explore Kalapokhari village, Overnight stay in tents.
DAY 04: KALAPOKHARI – SANDAKPHU (3636m/11929ft) 05km / 3-4 hrs
Today we climb towards the Singalila Ridge. From Kalapokhari it’s a Shot Trek but Steep till Sandakphu. This is also a perfect walk that holds a huge potential for bird watching. From here it’s a steady haul up to Sandakphu. Himalayan panorama from here is majestic. Snow clad ranges of Bhutan, Sikkim and Nepal are visible. The gigantic peaks of Everest, Kanchenjunga and Makalu are visible from here along with other peaks like Kabru, Kumbhakarna and Pandim. Sunset from here is a sight to behold. Overnight in tents.
Day 4 : Kalapokhari – Sandakphu (3636M/11929Ft) 05Km / 3-4 Hrs

Day 5 : Sandakphu – Molley (3535M/11597Ft) 09Km / 5-6 Hrs
Today we start walking through the one of the most spectacular sections of the Singalila Ridge. There are ever changing views of the snow capped Himalayas to the north and northwest. We will slightly detour from the main trail and camp at Molley, a small clearing in the forest.Overnight in tents
Day 6 : Molley – Phalut (3535M/11597Ft) 10Km / 3-4 Hrs
From Molley trail climbs back to ridge and rejoins to the main trail. This Is a lovely walk and continues up to the ridge top at Phalut. Phalut forms the junction between Nepal, Sikkim and West Bengal and is a place blessed with beauty. Overnight in tents
Day 7 : Phalut – Raman (2490M/8169Ft) 16Km / 6-7 Hrs
From here we say bye to the views of Kanchenjunga and descend steeply through a rich forest of rhododendrons and magnolias, teeming with bird life. The lower hills are covered with moss-laden trees, different varieties of rhododendron, spruce, silver firs, chest nuts, oaks, pines, magnolias and hemlocks. En route Gorkhey village is a small settlement on the border with the northern part of western Sikkim. We continue trekking further to reach the village of Raman. Overnight in tents
Day 8 : Raman – Rimbik (2020 M/6627Ft) 19Km / 5-6 Hrs
After breakfast, trek to Rimbick, 19 Kms in 06 hrs. Beginning with a 09 Kms almost level trail through forest, flowering trees, and orchids, with bird sounds in the air, we reach Srikhola, besides a stream, where we can have our picnic lunch. Thereafter it is a steady climb to Rimbick, a small bazar, which is also the road head. Dinner, and overnight at Lodge.
Day 9 : Rimbik – Yuksom (1785M/5856) 110Km / 7-8 Hrs
After breakfast set out on a long but varied road trip to Yuksom. Yuksom is a small town and was the former capital of Sikkim. Yuksom marks the entrance to the Kanchenjunga National park. Evening explore Yuksom. Overnight in a hotel
Day 10 : Yuksom – Bakhim (2750M/9022Ft) 14Km / 5-6 Hrs
The trail from Yuksom starts at the local market and follows main road towards the north. The trail climbs gently out of the valley and hugs the right bank of the Ratong Chu river, which can be heard thundering through the gorge below. We have lunch by the Praig chu river. The trail crosses over four bridges to climb steeply towards north-west to the small settlement of Bakhim. Overnight in tents
Day 11 : Bakhim – Dzongri (4030M/13218 Ft ) 09Km / 5-6 Hrs
It’s a long walk today. The trail passes through the picturesque village of Tshoka, a refugee settlement of Tibetans. Theres a small monastery and a lake here. We get a good view of the Pandim (6691m) from here. Continues climbing north through the forest of rhododendron to reach Phidang (3650 m) taking around 3 hrs to complete the ascent. From here also its a steep ascend towards the open grazing meadows of Dzongri. On arrival set campsite for overnight stay. Overnight in tents
Day 12 : Dzongri – Rest/Exploration Day
The day is for rest and acclimatization. On this day one can savour views of the mountain peaks by climbing up to Dzongri Top this will assist in acclimatization also. From the top theres a panoramic view of Kabru (7353 m), Ratong (6678m), Kanchenjunga (8534 m), Koktang (6147 m), Pandim (6691 m) and Narsing (5825 m). Towards the west, the Singalila Ridge, which separates Sikkim from Nepal, can be seen. Overnight in tents
Day 13 : Dzongri – Thangsing (3800 M/12464 Ft) 09Km / 4-5 Hrs
We walk up to a ridge which affords good views across Sikkim. From here the path drops into the valley and then crosses the bridge over the Prek Chu river. Its an hour climb from the bridge to Thangsing (3800 m) located on the slopes of Mt Pandim. Overnight in tents
Day 14 : Thangsing – Samiti Lake (4200 M/14760 Ft) 07Km / 3-4 Hrs
The trail from Thangsiing to the lake will take about a couple of hours and climbs gently through alpine meadows following Prek Chu river. About an hour above Thangsiing we reach terminal moraines of the Onglathang glacier having a nice view of the south face of Kanchenjunga. The trail then skirts through a series of glacial moraines before crossing over meadows again, and arrives at the emerald lake at Samiti. It’s a beautiful lake with emerald green water. Overnight in tents
Day 15 : Samiti Lake – Goecha La (4940 Mts – 16200 Ft)- Samiti Lake (4200 M/14760 Ft) 12 Kms – 6-7 Hrs
The climb to Goecha La begins with a gentle gradient eastwards for about half an hour and then later the steep ascent starts. The trail follows the glacial moraine north-east and then drops to a dry lake at Zemathang. A tough scramble over rocks and boulders with a rise of 400 meters will bring us on the top of the pass. The pass is formed due to the depression between Pandim and the Kabru spurs. It overlooks the Talung Valley and commands a very impressive view of the south face of Kanchenjunga. Afternoon return to the Samiti lake. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 16 : Samiti Lake – Tshoka (14 Kms – 6-7 Hrs)
Today Most Of the trails are Downwards,Start retracing steps towards Thangsing will take about couple of hours or so. From Thangsing follow the trail to Kokchorung(3800 m) which is a good camping site. Continue descending towards Tshoka by going through a bypass route directly to Tsokha. Dinner and overnight stay in tents.
Day 17 : Tsokha – Yuksom (1785 M,14Km Trek / 5-6 Hrs) – Darjeeling ( Drive / 4-5 Hrs)
Retrace steps towards Yuksom on the final day of the trek. The going is easier as the path is mainly downhill. After Taking some Rest in Yuksom we drive to Darjeeling and Late Evening will Reach Darjeeling. Check into the hotel and enjoy a hot shower. Overnight in a hotel
Day 18 : Local Sightseeing In Darjeeling
For people who can manage to wake up early there’s a trip to Tiger hill from where at dawn one gets spectacular views of the Kanchenjunga with Darjeeling in the foreground and Everest and Makalu on the horizon. Today one can also take a joy ride on the Toy train of Darjeeling. This train was commissioned in 1881 and still is a big attraction for tourists apart from ferrying local people. Evening one can stroll around the local markets. Overnight in a hotel
Day 19 : Darjeeling – Bagdogra
After breakfast we drive for about 4 hrs to reach Bagdogra from where you will catch a flight for your Onward Destination. Trip ends here Service ends here
