Day wise Itinerary

Day 1 : Srinagar

Arrive at Srinagar and transfers to your deluxe house boat.
Enjoy a complimentary Shikara ride on Dal lake, which will transfer you from the bank of the lake to the houseboat.
Visit Char Chinar- Floating vegetable gardens and see some handicraft demonstration.
Evening free for shopping. Dinner& overnight stay at Houseboat.

Day 2 : Srinagar - Sonmarg (80Kms./3-5 Hours’ Drive)

After a bit of leisure checkout of your houseboat and depart for Sonmarg” the meadow of gold” – Located to the north- east of Srinagar at an altitude of 3000 mts above sea level. The place offers incredible scenic beauty (while driving to Sonmarg) of dense pine forests & Gigantic mountain.
The drive is all about exploring the natural beauty which has famed Srinagar to be the Paradise on Earth.
This day is kept relaxed to give you the tempo to take on longer driving conditions from the following day onwards. This day’s drive is also very scenic and you may want to take numerous halts to encapsulate the natural beauty and for photography.
Day 3 : Sonmarg - Kargil (130 Kms/ 4-6 Hrs. Drive)

Post breakfast, you may proceed to Kargil. The idea is to relax and enjoy the ride.
This day’s drive will take you through Zozila Pass. This stretch of road between Sonmarg and Zozila Pass is going to be difficult but exciting and full of views which will keep you awed. Observe how the landscapes change.
Also, visit the Kargil War Memorial at Drass before you reach Kargil for Night Halt.
Day 4 : Kargil - Leh (215Kms/ 8-10 Hours’ Drive)

The real Ladakh region begins from this day. Beyond Kargil, the landscapes are inspiring. You will pass through the Lunar Landscapes, followed by Fotula Top- the highest pass in this stretch. Further ahead, you will reach ‘Magnetic Hill’- which is believed to be opposing gravity and has magnetic powers. Further, reach Leh by late afternoon, evening and Check in at the hotel.
Take rest to acclimatize.
In the evening, you may proceed for a local town walk or stroll to explore the little town to Leh.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 5 : Leh Site seeing

The idea is to stay at the same altitude to ensure you have acclimatized well before taking on to the higher altitudes. It is very essential and worth staying to keep you comfortable. Not many spend sufficient time at Leh and usually cut short their stay at Leh, thereby being vulnerable to what we call “AMS”- Altitude Mountain Sickness.
Today we spend some time on sightseeing of the town.
Spare some time at Shanti Stupa, Leh City Palace and City Monastery.
Evening can be spent enjoying street food.
Dinner and Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Payment Terms:
50% of the Payment to be made for confirmation in favor of "Glorytrip".

Remaining to be paid 10 days before the departure.

Check In: Noon | Check Out: Noon
(Early Check in and Late Checkout is possible but subject to availability)

Cancellation Terms :
50% of the total amount charged if Cancelled 2 Weeks prior the trip
75% of the total amount charged if Cancelled 2 days prior the trip .

Please Note the following details specific to J&K

A recent Government notification requires guests to present proof of identity at the time of check in. All guests are requested to carry with them the required document during their travel.

No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable. Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in.

It’s a normal practice in Leh for Taxi Operators to end their services by 7pm. If possible, kindly free the taxi by 7pm or prepare return so that the taxi can be freed by this time. This is to ensure enough rest to the driver.
