Day wise Itinerary

• Day 1 : Coimbatore – Ooty (85 Kms / 3 Hours 5 Mines)

  Once you arrive in Coimbatore, our tour representative will guide you to your allotted buses which will transfer you to Ooty, where you will be checked in to your hotel immediately upon your arrival there. The remainder of the day will be saved for you to mostly rangesnd explore the city on your own. Be sure to carry woolen clothes anytime you visit this magnificent UNESCO world heritage site, since the average temperature here is mostly ranges from cool to cold throughout the year.

• Day 2 : Ooty Sightseeing

  Your day will start a few hours after sunrise since, the city remains engulfed in fog early in the morning, making your early morning visit not so fruitful. This day will be reserved for your sightseeing tour starting with a visit to one of the most famous attractions of Botanical gardens.
  
  Make sure you plan your trip keeping in mind the blooming season of the flowers. In order to witness the flowers bursting with colors and in full bloom then the months of April, May and September are the most relevant. There are thousands of varieties of flowers available here and you can also buy a range of flower saplings from a shop available there. This park is extremely huge and cannot be completed in a single visit however a must visit attraction is the famous monkey puzzle tree, named so, because of its interesting and unique structure.
  
  Your next destination is located at a small distance from the main town. The mesmerizing drive to Annamalai temple will give way to one of the most panoramic view of the surrounding lush green hills. Being one of the oldest temples atop a hill, this temple is dedicated to Lord Murugan. It is advised for you not to miss out on the cave temple which is located at just 20 minutes of walking distance. The walk will be worth it since the temple administration provides you with food items.
  
  On your way back you will be made to visit another famous picnic spot of Avalanche Lake. This cool natural lake is the perfect spot for you to sit back, let your hair down and dip your feet in the pleasant and calm water. Douse yourself in peace and serenity of this area which looks perfect during the golden hour of the day.

  • Hotspots : Botanical Garden

• Day 3 : Ooty – Coonoor (21 Kms / 1 Hour) – Ooty

  Today you will leave for Coonoor, a beautiful yet underrated hill station. Make sure to plan your visit and book your tour package when it is not the ON season (May), since it may get extremely crowded and traffic jams may also persist, which will prove to be a speed bump in your trip.
  
  Your sightseeing trip will start off by visiting Dolphin’s nose point. This famous point gives you picturesque scenery of the Nilgiri hills. Be sure not to carry any food items due to the presence of, otherwise harmless, monkeys. You can also opt to visit some of the famous tea gardens that you will encounter on your way there.
  
  Your next stop will be the famous Sim’s park, which is one of the top tourist destinations in Coonoor. Although the park is spread over a vast area, there are benches and chairs available for you to rest on. If you have kids along with you be sure to make them visit the children’s park that is located inside this park. This park is also home to trees that are centuries old. It is truly a wonder to behold.
  
  When the day ends you will be made to head back to Ooty where you are free to spend some time exploring on your own and shopping for some of the famous items from here. You can shop for delicious handmade chocolates, truffles, special essential oils, antique toda jewellery and tea straight from the tea gardens.

• Day 4 : Coimbatore Departure

  This is the day when your tour duration with us will come to an end when we will transfer you to your preferred destination for boarding your mode of transportation.
